As the first of Philip Roth's recent series of novels that delve into American Cold War history deeply entwined with the post-war Jewish American experience, American Pastoral traces the tragic fall of a third-generation Jewish American named Seymour "Swede" Levov, whose dream of complete assimilation to the post-ethnic American paradise is irrecoverably disrupted when his young daughter blows up the local post office to protest against the Vietnam War. This essay proposes to examine Swede Levov's interrupted pursuit of the American dream by locating it within specific Cold War contexts and national imaginaries propagated particularly during the years from John F. Kennedy to Lyndon B. Johnson. In so doing, I will argue that Roth presents a paradoxical vision of Jewish American identity that could be acquired by performing perpetual self-effacement and submergence into the non-place of anonymity and doubleness, a mythic location of the post-ethnic Cold War American family. Levov's life becomes true part of the mythic narrative of American history when he realizes that his life, just like the nation's history, is a series of temporalities radically discontinued without any manageable detour ot divine bypass to cross over. Rather than indicating Roth's retraction from the postmodern understanding of subjectivity, the novel's historical realism, I will argue, serves to illuminate the postmodern conditions of American Cold War history and ethnic identity.

Rural tourism village experience is proceeded quantitatively without distinct characteristic. This research aimed at analyzing the experience and utilizing in the establishment of differentiation and contents development. Type of experience activity was classified as 10 types in Level 1 and 0~4 types in Level 2. As the result of analyzing 3,007 experiences in 168 villages, types of experience activity implemented per 1 village was 17.9. Among them, ecological experience type appeared to be the most, and appeared in order of food, agriculture farming experience. In respect of agriculture farming experience, 'harvest and utilization' was analyzed to be the highest, and regarding rural farmhouse living experience displayed 'farmhouse living' experience the highest. Tradition courtesy experience displayed 'traditional culture' experience the highest, and rural food experience was analyzed to implement 'food making' experience the most. Ecological experience mainly consisted of 'hunting and collecting' and 'observation/learning', in case of play experience, 'traditional play' experience activity was analyzed to be performed the most. Considering utilization material, it appeared in order of 'rice', 'sweet potato', 'potato', 'corn', 'chili', 'agricultural implement', 'farmhouse', 'animal', 'culture', 'history', 'rice cake', 'alcoholic drink', 'tofu', 'kimchi', etc. The place of ecological experience was performed in the forest the most, and lots of experience was performed in stream, valley, and river. The researcher expects that characteristic experience activity will be developed based on this result, by avoiding doubleness of the experience activity among the regions and the villages.

It is necessary to evaluate methods for reasonable diagnosis for public transportation. However, previous studies have the problems in evaluation ground and propriety. Therefore, this research develop the method and equation for evaluating bus route considering interregional equity and route doubleness. This study developed in bus route evaluation method using Seoul bus Zone, and included the result of evaluation test using 199 route Seoul trunk bus (blue bus). Zone (0) (Jongno-gu, Jung-gu and Yongsan-gu) has the highest score in Evaluation result. Also this zone has good bus route, so it is easy to move to other Zone. It is possible to change and add the bus route to use the equation in this study, considering interregional equity.

Recently, there have been some researches in the equipment fault detection based on shock and vibration information. Most research of them is based on shock and vibration monitoring to determine the equipment fault or not. Different with engine fault detection based on shock and vibration information we focus on detection of engine for boat and system control. First, it use the duplicated-checking method for shock and vibration information to determine the engine fault or not. If there is a fault happened, we use the integral to determine the error engine shock wave width and detect the fault area. On the other hand, we use the engine trend analysis and standard of safety engine to implement the shock and vibration information database. Our simulation results show that the probability of engine fault determination is 98% and the probability of engine fault detection is 72%

This study considers the improvement of R&D promotion program and its investment efficiency for regional industry. We find out some problems of R&D promotion program and suggest plans to improve investment efficiency of R&D through practical analysis of achievement. Since the 2000s, our country has implemented diverse policies for regional industry; R&D for regional industry has become a core part of business from the point of view of regional industry. As ever, these policies are highly supported for the purpose of securing industrial competitiveness by the central government and local governments. This study, through practical analysis of certain region (Jeonbuk), reviews some problems of R&D promotion program and suggests plans to enhance the achievements of a variety of policies, strategies, and projects. We perform practical analysis using three methods for three different aspects: shift-share analysis for each industry type, performance analysis for each investment type and characteristic analysis for each company type. Reviewing the results of practical analysis, we suggest some plans to promote the collaboration of main R&D support organizations and to minimize the doubleness caused sporadically by the central government and local governments. This research will be used effectively in setting up, implementing, and evaluating R&D investments for regional Industry.

The object is that this research searches the relationship of the office given condition actual condition of the country important facility private security guard and job satisfaction degree. In order to grasp and analyze the real state of the country important facility private security guards directly, the questionnaire, that is the general measurement tool, was utilized and the guard whom it works in the airport, the port region and general work place, that is the national important facility of Busan and Ulsan area, was aimed at. The enough survey object was illustrated to the facility and person in charge in the security company and the item was previewed and the total 400 sheets was distributed and 331 sheets (82.8%) except the doubleness subject intention and incongruent questionnaire was utilized for the analysis. The statistic processing of collected data utilized the SPSS version 15.0 the statistical package program through data coding and cleaning process and performed the frequency analysis, reliability analysis, t-test, one way analysis of variance, Pearson analysis, and regression analysis. The relationship of the office given condition actual condition of the guard about the national important facility and job satisfaction degree was classified into the interpersonal relationship, task characteristic, office environment, and complement factor and the difference of the job satisfaction degree according to the general characteristic was verified. If the conclusion obtained through the method of study described in the above looked at, for as to general tendency, the low wages and poor field environment was continued. In the general characteristic, the man was higher than the excitation about the job satisfaction level. As there was lots of the age and the scholarship was low, the age was high. And as there was lots of the career and income, the police of a petition or search and guide staff was high and the job satisfaction degree in which relatively the employee and the other job group is high so that the case of being the former student incidence can be the poorest was shown rather than the facility security agent. As the interrelation analysis result job satisfaction was high, the change of occupation pseudo was low and the organizational commitment degrees was increased. The regression analysis result job satisfaction degree was exposed to reach the meaningful effect on the change of occupation pseudo and organizational commitment. It had an effect on the change of occupation pseudo as the task characteristic and office ambient level was low. It had an effect on the organizational commitment as the extend of satisfaction about the task characteristic and interpersonal relationship, complement, and office ambient level were high. If the research result of this time is integrated, the support of the political system including the interpersonal relationship thesis between top and bottom of the organized I and substantial complement actualization is urgently needed between the office given condition improvement effort in the country important facility defense manpower field and police of a petition and special guard.
