[Retracted] Novel Genotoxic Strategies for Efficiently Detect Chemicals' Carcinogenicity ([논문 철회] 노동자 건강보호를 위한 최신 유전독성학 연구전략)

  • Objectives: Effective genetic toxicology and molecular biology research techniques and strategies that are highly correlated with the carcinogenic inhalation toxicity test and related research are required. The aim of this study was to maximize the utilization of chemical substances to prevent workers' occupational diseases. Methods: We surveyed the literature, domestic and international references, and the status of relevant domestic and foreign professional organizations. Expert advisory opinions were reflected, and experts were consulted by participating in domestic and overseas academic conferences. Results: The current status of domestic and international genotoxic toxicity evaluation was examined through various documents from related organizations. Cell models for in vitro lung toxicology were investigated and summarized, and the human resources and performance results of genetic toxicity studies and pilot projects were compared and analyzed by holding an advisory meeting. We examined domestic and international genotoxicity guidelines and investigated new test methods for the development of genotoxicity and carcinogenicity. Ultimately, we described long-term future predictions, including the implementation of our researchers' recommendations and occupational genetic toxicology forecasts for future worker health protection. Conclusions: This research project aims to establish current genetic toxicology and molecular biology research techniques and strategies that can maximize the linkage with the carcinogenic inhalation toxicity test and research in the future. We expanded the study of genetic toxicity and establish a foundation forgenetic toxicity in accordance with research trends in Korea and abroad.

Experimental Study on the Combustion Characteristics of the Solid Fuels Blended with Domestic Animal Excreta (축분 혼합 고형연료의 연소성에 관한 실험적 연구)

  • Rivers of our country are in the serious state of water pollution because of sewages, factory wastes, domestic animal excreta, and so forth. The development of waste water treatment technology applied in a small-scaled farm is urgent because the government regulation becomes strict. In the present study, four types of solid fuels are made by blending domestic animal excreta, rice hulls and briquets, and its combustion characteristics is investigated by analyzing burning pictures. Domestic animal excreta sampled from a farm in Kimhae was dried with sunlight. From experimental results, it is shown that combustion characteristics of solid fuels becomes better by blending rice hulls which have superior ignitability. Since solid fuel made by blending domestic animal excreta with rice hulls can bum continuously, it can be appropriate for the heating fuels.

  • In this paper, we propose a reference model suitable for domestic situations. analyzing whether purchase processes suggested by RosettaNet can be applied to domestic industry First of all, implementation cases applied to purchase processes in the world are investigated. Second, purchase processes of a domestic manufacturer are analyzed for the RosettaNet standard application, and the processes are compared with PIP. Finally, new purchase processes and corresponding PIP documents which reflect domestic situations are proposed.

  • Considering the present development situation of domestic apartment complexes, the development of environment-friendly apartment complexes is very important issue in Korea. At this point of time, it is very meaningful to understand the domestic development trend and the actual condition of environment-friendly apartment complexes and examine various problems about this and the possibilities fer development. Thus the purpose of this study is to accumulate basic data to establish planning direction and pertinent planning factors or the environment-friendly apartment complex for sustainable development. It is believed that the role of the related aspects such as administration, construction companies, designers and residents must be redefined in order to manage such problem. Planning factors for environment-friendly apartment complex should be developed systematically and more fit to the natural environment and residents in the aspect of district and community.

A Study on the Phased Development Plan of Distribution Platform Based on 3D Printing Market Maturity in Domestic Architecture (국내 건축분야 3D 프린팅 시장 성숙도 기반 단계별 유통플랫폼 구축방안에 관한 연구)

  • Recently, it is easy to find cases of 3D printing product, equipment, and materials in the architecture field. However, there is a lack of distribution environment where 3D printing products can be traded on an online platform or to access on-demand services in the architecture field. Therefore, in this study, a distribution platform development plan was proposed in consideration of the maturity level of the 3D printing distribution market in the domestic architecture field. For this purpose, the research was carried out as follows. First, by analyzing the case of the 3D printing distribution platform, the development stage of the distribution platform was set as three stages from the perspective of market maturity, platform development level, and sales/purchase experience level of suppliers and consumers. Second, the market maturity of the current domestic architecture field was evaluated as the first stage, and a distribution platform that could be implemented in the first stage was presented as a pilot. Third, we presented the first stage pilot, collected practical opinions on future construction plans through in-depth interviews, and presented detailed implementation plans for each stage necessary to achieve the second and third stage market maturity goals. Based on the roadmap derived from this study, it is expected that the domestic distribution platform market will grow step by step in the future and be utilized for business model development.

Reproductive Efficiency and Characteristics of Cloned Miniature Piglets Produced from Domestic Commercial Gilts

  • The objective of this study was to examine the reproductive characteristics of cloned miniature piglets produced from surrogate domestic pigs. Somatic cell nuclear transfer (SCNT) miniature pig embryos were transferred into domestic pigs. As controls, domestic pigs of the same breed with surrogates for SCNT embryos and miniature pigs of the same breed with the somatic cell donor were bred by artificial insemination and natural mating, respectively. Surrogate domestic pigs that farrowed cloned miniature piglets had a significantly longer gestation length (118.1 days) than conventionally bred domestic (115.4 days) and miniature (115.5 days) pigs. Furthermore, the birth weight of cloned miniature piglets produced from domestic pigs (743 g) was significantly greater than that of miniature piglets produced by natural breeding (623 g). Also, cloned miniature piglets had a significantly lower weaning rate (49.7%) than conventionally produced domestic (91.5%) and miniature (100%) piglets. No differences were observed between female and male cloned piglets in gestation length, litter size, birth weight, or weaning rate. Our results demonstrate that gestation length is extended in domestic pigs that are transferred with SCNT miniature pig embryos and that cloned miniature piglets have increased birth weight and high pre-weaning mortality.

  • Fertilizer has been played greately on the agricultural development as well as food production and agriculture has also promoted the development of fertilizer industry. There were, however, many difficulties between supply and demand of fertilizer throughout the decade. In this regard, this paper is involved with present situation and prospect of commercial fertilizers, in view of domestic and international scheme on resources, production, and demand within the limited information. Brief history of commercial fertilizer in Korea has outlined for the introduction and fertilizer consumption per unit area also discussed.

  • There are lots of disturbance in the super heater temperature control system of power plant boiler as follows. 1.Burner light off. 2.Excess Air. 3.Burner tilt. 4.G.R fan flow. Temperature control system of super heater in the power plant has delay time about 5 min. So it is difficult to control the super heater temperature in the power plant. This paper show us the application of domestic development DCS to control the super heater temperature in seoul #5 thermal power plant unit.

  • Research and development of automotive hydraulic brake hose has been carried out for domestic production. Four different trial products have been developed according to different design factors, and designated as Lot.. 1 through Lot. 4 respectively. Eleven kinds of static and dynamic performance tests have been conducted on each sample product of Lot. number, and the trial product by the Lot. 2 design factors was found to meet all the test specifications. Therefore, the automotive hydraulic brake hose could be localized in Korea.
