함정운동에 의해 발사대 해치에 작용하는 외란에 관한 연구 (Study on the Disturbance Applied to Launcher Hatch by Ship Motions)

  • In this paper, the disturbance applied to launcher hatch by ship motions is introduced to identify the vertical ship motion disturbance. Basically, ship motions are comprised of 6 degrees of freedom: roll, pitch, yaw, heave, surge and sway. In the case of the shipboard launcher hatch the coupled pitch, heave and roll are significant motions to be transformed to a vertical direction motion. The maximum acceleration values are obtained from the vertical motion model and the ship motion data in accordance with ship type and hatch location on the ship. We verify that the maximum pitch motion mainly influences the launcher hatch and also present the quantity of the maximum load disturbance by the ship's motion acceleration.

  • For a plant subject to several kinds of disturbances in the plant input side, we consider a problem of designing a controller based on the disturbance cancellation. The conventional loop transfer recovery (LTR) technique can not be used since the extended system consisting of the plant and the disturbance model is not necessarily stabilizable. We propose a new LTR technique that can be applied for our problem. As a target of the LTR, we choose a state feedback controller using a disturbance estimator. We find an LTR procedure based on the Riccati equation formalism where the stochastic model contains the filter gain matrix of the disturbance estimator in the target.   • This paper investigates the design of disturbance observer for rotational vibration suppression in disk drive systems. The design aims to provide an optimal controller which satisfies both vibration performance and robust stability. It consists of an inversion method, a special filter, and optimization scheme. Firstly a new inversion method is introduced, which provides more accurate inversion compared to conventional zero phase error method. The inversion is to deal with unstable zeros in the plant model. Secondly a special filter for disturbance selection is given, which features adjustable gain and band pass characteristics so that it enables flexible shaping of the loop considering the trade-off between performance and stability margins. And finally the parameters of disturbance observer are optimized in conjunction with external disturbance model. Simulation and experiment on commercial hard disk drives confirm that the design is very effective to such disturbance which is hard to be handled by conventional approach.

  • 이 논문에서 제안된 새로운 제어 기법은 외부 외란 및 모델 불확실성으로 인해 발생하는 오버슈트를 줄여주어 제어기의 안정성 및 강건성을 보장하기 위하여 제안되었다. 제안된 제어 기법은 외란 관측기와 피드포워드 제어기, 그리고 오버슈트 탐지기로 구성되며, 간단한 구조로 구성되어 있으므로 제어 이득 설계가 용이한 장점이 있다. 이를 보이기 위해서 F-16 비행체의 종축 모델을 대상으로 시뮬레이션을 수행하였다. 또한 3가지 형태의 불확실성 모델을 반영해봄으로써 제어 성능 및 안정성을 보장할 수 있음을 확인하였으며, 루트 로커스 선도와 보드 선도를 이용하여 제안된 기법의 강인성 및 안정성을 검증하였다.

  • This paper combines the disturbance accommodating control(DAC) and nonlinear model inversion control for a skid-to-turn(STT) missile. The missile autopilot may be designed to be robust with respect to a variety of uncertainties. We proposes the two step control design method. Nonlinear model inversion control is used as the main design method. Due to the model uncertainties and external disturbances, the exact nonlinear model inversion can not be achieved. DAC is designed to detect, to identify, and to compensate these uncertainties. DAC's disturbance observer is linear. Thus it is easy to implement. It does not cause the convergence problem due to coexistence between the modeling uncertainties and external disturbances. 6 DOF simulation results show that the proposed method may improve the missile tracking performance.

  • In this paper, a novel RLS-based DOB (Recursive Least Squares Disturbance Observer) scheme is proposed to improve the performance of DOB for nominal model identification. A nominal model can be generally assumed to be a second order system in the form of a proper transfer function of an ARMA (Autoregressive Moving Average) model. The RLS algorithm for the model identification is proposed in association with DOB. Experimental studies of the balancing control of a one-wheel robot are conducted to demonstrate the feasibility of the proposed method. The performances between the conventional DOB scheme and the proposed scheme are compared.

  • This paper proposes a linear model predictive control of 6-DOF remotely operated underwater vehicles using nonlinear robust internal-loop compensator (NRIC). First, we design a integrator embedded linear model prediction controller for a linear nominal model, and then let the real model follow the values calculated through forward dynamics. This work is carried out through an NRIC and in this process, modeling errors and external disturbance are compensated. This concept is similar to disturbance observer-based control, but it has the difference that H optimality is guaranteed. Finally, tracking results at trajectory containing the velocity discontinuity point and the position tracking performance in the disturbance environment is confirmed through the comparative study with a traditional inverse dynamics PD controller.

Consistency and Bounds on the Bias of $S^2$ in the Linear Regression Model with Moving Average Disturbances

  • The ordinary least squares based estiamte $S^2$ of the disturbance variance is considered in the linear regression model when the disturbances follow the first-order moving-average process. It is shown that $S^2$ is weakly consistent estimate for the disturbance varaince without any restriction on the regressor matrix X. Also, simple exact bounds on the relative bias of $S^2$ are given in finite sample sizes.

  • In control of the time delay systems, if the disturbance information can be estimated exactly, the ideal response for the disturbance can be achieved. Therefore, in this paper, a new adaptive disturbance observer for the time delay system control is proposed. The disturbance observer is designed and adaptive laws for adjusting the observer are proposed. The new Smith predictor controller to eliminate the effects of the disturbance can be achieved by adding an estimated disturbance to the Smith model. The improved performances of the proposed system and the adaptive disturbance observer are verified by computer simulation.

  • This paper addresses sliding mode control (SMC) of the anti-lock braking system (ABS) with a compensator of model uncertainties such as vehicle parameter variation, unmodeled dynamics, and external disturbances. A sliding mode controller (SMC) is designed with a nominal vehicle model to achieve a desired wheel slip ratio. A disturbance observer (DOB) is introduced to compensate the model uncertainties and is designed with a transfer function of a hydraulic brake dynamics. Through simulations on the model uncertainties, it is verified that the sliding mode control with the DOB can give the simulation results better than the sliding mode control without the DOB.
