  • The control system for the efficiency of resource utilization in sensor network environment based on object detection and environmental sensor requires active control function which based on sensor data acquisition and transmission functions and server's data analysis. Using active rule-based mobile agent middleware, this paper proposes a new distributed control framework that reduces the load of central sensor data server in sensor network environment by implementing remote data sensing and Zigbee-based communication with server and data analysis method of server. In addition, we implemented a power-saving system prototype using active rule-based distributed control methods that applied consumer's demand and environmental variables, and verified the validity of the proposed system through experiments and evaluations in the mobile agent middleware environment. The proposed system is a system framework that can efficiently autonomously control distributed objects in the sensor network environment, and it can be applied effectively to the development of demand response service based on optimal power control for the smart power system in the future.

  • With the development of mobile edge computing, how to utilize the computing power of edge computing to effectively and efficiently offload data and to compute offloading is of great research value. This paper studies the computation offloading problem of multi-user and multi-server in mobile edge computing. Firstly, in order to minimize system energy consumption, the problem is modeled by considering the joint optimization of the offloading strategy and the wireless and computing resource allocation in a multi-user and multi-server scenario. Additionally, this paper explores the computation offloading scheme to optimize the overall cost. As the centralized optimization method is an NP problem, the game method is used to achieve effective computation offloading in a distributed manner. The decision problem of distributed computation offloading between the mobile equipment is modeled as a multi-user computation offloading game. There is a Nash equilibrium in this game, and it can be achieved by a limited number of iterations. Then, we propose a distributed computation offloading algorithm, which first calculates offloading weights, and then distributedly iterates by the time slot to update the computation offloading decision. Finally, the algorithm is verified by simulation experiments. Simulation results show that our proposed algorithm can achieve the balance by a limited number of iterations. At the same time, the algorithm outperforms several other advanced computation offloading algorithms in terms of the number of users and overall overheads for beneficial decision-making.

  • Transcoding proxy strategy has been widely used as a means to reduce the delay in retrieving Web pages over wireless mobile data service networks. However, this strategy has the serious drawbacks of being a potential point of failure or a bottleneck of the service. We developed a distributed proxy server system in which multiple proxy servers are installed at geographically dispersed locations and share the workloads among them by serving mobile hosts only within assigned regions. A new handoff message protocol to enable handoffs between proxies as the mobile hosts move between regions is proposed. According to the proxy server handoff protocol, a client agent at the mobile horst requests a proxy server to start handoff processing by which two proxy servers synchronize distilled data belonging to a HTTP session that must be maintained across the handoff. Also, we introduce the architecture of the proxy server and the client agent that handles the proxy server handoff. Finally, we evaluate the proposed system through performance test.

  • Recently, researches are being conducted to build a smart environment using various sensors and devices and to provide customized services to users through inter object communication. However, the existing system utilizes a centralized method of transmitting measured sensor data in real time to the server and processing it in batches and As the system is expanded, there is a problem that a high-end server must be configured. In this paper, we design a Resource Allocation Algorithm for IoT distributed processing environment to solve these problems. The resources required for the device to operate are transferred to the server and the server allocates resources in comparison to the task in progress. Therefore, it is expected that the data throughput of the server will be reduced and various devices can be configured in a server having a low specification.

  • Distributed Denial-of-Service (DDoS) attacks towards name servers of the Domain Name System (DNS) have threaten to disrupt this critical service. This paper studies the vulnerability of the cache server to the flooding DNS query traffic. As the resolution service provided by cache server, the incoming DNS requests, even the massive attacking traffic, are maintained in the waiting queue. The sojourn of requests lasts until the corresponding responses are returned from the authoritative server or time out. The victim cache server is thus overloaded by the pounding traffic and thereafter goes down. The impact of such attacks is analyzed via the model of queuing process in both cache server and authoritative server. Some specific limits hold for this practical dual queuing process, such as the limited sojourn time in the queue of cache server and the independence of the two queuing processes. The analytical results are presented to evaluate the impact of DDoS attacks on cache server. Finally, numerical results are provided for further analysis.

본 연구의 결과를 토대로우리나라 젊고 건강한 남성에게 적합한 무게상수는 작업자군에 대하여 25.05kg, 학생군에 대하여 20.24kg 으로 나타나 이는 미국 NIOSH 안전기준과 대체로 일치함을 발견하였다.ive structures utilized in Client/server architecture for distribution and cooperative processing of application between server and client this study presents two different data management methods under the Client/server environment; one is "Remote Data Management Method" which uses file server or database server and. the other is "Distributed Data Management Method" using distributed database management system. The result of this study leads to the conclusion that in the client/server environment although distributed application is assumed, the data could become centralized (in the case of file server or database server) or decentralized (in the case of distributed

  • The growth of the World Wide Web and the advances in high-speed network access have greatly changed existing CAD/CAE environment. The WWW has enabled us to share various distributed product data and to collaborate in the design process. An international standard for the product model data, STEP, and a standard for the distributed object technology, CORBA, are very important technological components for the interoperability in the advanced design and manufacturing environment. These two technologies provide background for the sharing of product data and the integration of applications on the network. This paper describes a distributed CAD/CAE environment that is integrated on the network by CORBA and product model data standard STEP. Several prototype application modules were implemented to verify the proposed concept and the test result is discussed. Finite element analysis server are further distributed into several frontal servers for the implementation of distributed parallel solution of finite element system equations. Distributed computation of analysis server is also implemented by using CORBA for the generalization of the proposed method.

  • As the existing strategy of preventing DDoS(Distributed Denial of Service) attacks has limitations, this study is intended to suggest the more effective method of preventing DDoS attacks which reduces attack power and distributes attack targets. Currently, DDoS attacks have a wide range of targets such as individuals, businesses, labs, universities, major portal sites and financial institutions. In addition, types of attacks change from exhausting layer 3, network band to primarily targeting layer 7. In response to DDoS attacks, this study suggests how to distribute and decrease DDoS threats effectively and efficiently using Proxy Server Group and Dynamic DNS.

  • As the Internet continues to grow, network games are widely spreaded. For most network games, many users' meet on a server causes a heavy load to the sewer, which in turn brings inconvenience to the user. Moreover, it demands increased expense to the service provider for deploying additional servers. In this paper, we propose a hybrid distributed system for network games. In our proposed system, a client is independents of the server and exchanges information directly with other clients. The client depends on servers only for the update information. The proposed methodology classifies messages according to the characteristics of information that the message handles and applies either client-to-server and pear-to-pear communication for processing messages which increases the efficiency of systems.
