This paper proposes an effective low power BIST architecture using the pattern mapping method for 100% fault coverage and the transition freezing method for making high correlative low power patterns. When frozen patterns are applied to a circuit, it begins to find a great number of faults at first. However, patterns have limitations of achieving 100% fault coverage due to random pattern resistant faults. In this paper, those faults are covered by the pattern mapping method using the patterns generated by an ATPG and the useless patterns among frozen patterns. Throughout the scheme, we have reduced an amount of applied patterns and test time compared with the transition freezing method, which leads to low power dissipation.

Supervised residue trials for mandipropamid in Korean cabbage(Brassica campestris L.) were conducted to establish its pre-harvest residue limit (PHRL), a criterion to ensure the safety of the terminal pesticide residue during cabbage production. Tissues of Korean cabbage were collected at 0, 1, 3, 5, 7, and 10 days after mandipropamid application and subjected to residue analysis. The analytical method was validated by recoveries ranging from 88.2-92.2% at two levels (0.4 and $2.0mg{\cdot}kg^{-1}$), and a limit of quantitation (LOQ) of $0.04mg{\cdot}kg^{-1}$. Mandipropamid residues in Korean cabbage gradually decreased over time. The dissipation rate of the residue would be affected by intrinsic degradation of the compound along with dilution resulting from the fast growth of Korean cabbage. The decay pattern was well fitted by simple first-order kinetics. Biological half-lives of mandipropamid in Korean cabbage ranged from 3.9-4.0 days in two field conditions. Calculated by the regression curve of mandipropamid dissipation, the PHRLs of mandipropamid in Korean cabbage were recommended as 11.07-12.19 and $5.76-6.05mg{\cdot}kg^{-1}$ for 10 and 5 days prior to harvest, respectively.
The capacity concept presented in the Highway Capacity Manual is for steady-state traffic flow assuming that there is no restriction in downstream flowing, which is traditionally used for planning, design, and operational analyses. In the congested traffic condition, the control objective should be to keep the congested regime from growing and to recover the normal traffic condition as soon as possible. In this control case, it is important to predict the spatial-temporal pattern of congestion evolution or dissipation and to estimate the throughput reduction according to the spatial-temporal pattern. In this context, the new concept of dynamic capacity for managing congested traffic is developed in terms of spatial-temporal evolution of downstream traffic congestion and in view of the 'input' concept assuming that flow is restricted by downstream condition rather than the 'output' concept assuming that there is no restriction in downstream flowing (e.g. the mean queue discharge flow rate). This new capacity is defined as the Maximum Sustainable Throughput that is determined based on the spatial-temporal evolution pattern of downstream congestion. And the spatial-temporal evolution pattern is estimated using the Newell's simplified q-k model.

Thin perforated Steel Plate Shear Walls (SPSWs) are among the most common types of seismic energy dissipation systems to protect the main boundary components of SPSWs from fatal fractures in the high-risk zones. In this paper, the cyclic behavior of the different circular hole patterns under cyclic loading is reported. Based on the experimental results, it can be concluded that a change in the perforation pattern of the circular holes leads to a change in the locations of the fracture tendency over the web plate, especially at the plate-frame interactions. Accordingly, the cyclic responses of the tested specimens were simulated by finite element method using the ABAQUS package. Likewise, perforated shear panels with a new perforation pattern obtained by implementing Topology Optimization (TO) were proposed. It was found that the ultimate shear strength of the specimen with the proposed TO perforation pattern was higher than that of the other specimens. In addition, theoretical equations using the Plate-Frame Interaction (PFI) method were used to predict the shear strength and initial stiffness of the considered specimens. The theoretical results showed that the proposed reduced coefficients relationships cannot accurately predict the shear strength and initial stiffness of the considered perforated shear panels. Therefore, the reduced coefficients should be adopted in the theoretical equations based on the obtained experimental and numerical results. Finally, with the results of this study, the shear strength and initial stiffness of these types of perforated shear panels can be predicted by PFI method.

The paper presents the numerical analysis of wave run-up over rubble-mound breakwaters covered by antifer units using a technique integrating Computer-Aided Design (CAD) and Computational Fluid Dynamics (CFD) software. Direct application of Navier-Stokes equations within armour blocks, is used to provide a more reliable approach to simulate wave run-up over breakwaters. A well-tested Reynolds-averaged Navier-Stokes (RANS) Volume of Fluid (VOF) code (Flow-3D) was adopted for CFD computations. The computed results were compared with experimental data to check the validity of the model. Numerical results showed that the direct three dimensional (3D) simulation method can deliver accurate results for wave run-up over rubble mound breakwaters. The results showed that the placement pattern of antifer units had a great impact on values of wave run-up so that by changing the placement pattern from regular to double pyramid can reduce the wave run-up by approximately 30%. Analysis was done to investigate the influences of surface roughness, energy dissipation in the pores of the armour layer and reduced wave run-up due to inflow into the armour and stone layer.
Present study is mainly concerned about the idea of innovative utilization of bamboo in modern construction. Owing to its compatible mechanical properties, a beneficial effect of its use in reinforced concrete (RC) frame infills has been observed. In this investigation, finite element analyses have been performed to examine the failure pattern and stress distribution pattern through the infills of a moment resisting RC frame. To validate the pragmatic use of bamboo reinforced components as infills, earthquake loading corresponding to Nepal earthquake had been considered. The analysis have revealed that introduction of bamboo in RC frames imparts more flexibility to the structure and hence may causes a ductile failure during high magnitude earthquakes like in Nepal. A more uniform stress distribution throughout the bamboo reinforced wall panels validates the practical feasibility of using bamboo reinforced concrete wall panels as a replacement of conventional brick masonry wall panels. A more detailed analysis of the results have shown the fact that stress concentration was more on the frame components in case of frame with brick masonry, contrary to the frame with bamboo reinforced concrete wall panels, in which, major stress dispersion was through wall panels leaving frame components subjected to smaller stresses. Thus an effective contribution of bamboo in dissipation of stresses generated during devastating seismic activity have been shown by these results which can be used to concrete the feasibility of using bamboo in modern construction.

The pseudo dynamic test has been carried out so as to investigate the seismic performance of RC bridge piers strengthened with and without glass fiber sheets. The Lessons from severe demage of many infrastructures in Kobe(1995) and Northridge(1996) earthquakes have emphasized the need to develop the retrofit measures to enhance flexural strength, ductility and shear strength of RC bridge piers nonseismically designed before 1992. Therefore, the objective of this experimental research is to investigate the seismic behavior of circular reinforced concrete bridge piers by the pseudo dynamic test. and then to enhance the ductility of concrete piers strengthening with glass fiber sheets in the plastic hinge region. 7 circular RC bridge piers were made in a 1/3.4 scale. Important test parameters are confinement steel ratio, retrofitting. load pattern, etc. The seismic behavior of circular concrete piers under artificial ground motions has been evaluated through strength and stiffness degradation, energy dissipation. It can be concluded that existing bridge piers wrapped with glass fibers in the plastic hinge regions could have enough seismic performance.
The effect of calcining temperature ranged from $700^{\circ}C$ to 110$0^{\circ}C$ on sintering characteristics of morphotropic $Pb(Zr_{0.53}Ti_{0.47})O_3 doped with $Nb_2O_5$ has been investigated. The ratio of sintered grain size to calcined grain size decreased as the calcining temperature increased. The hardness as well as the sintered density of the samples reached a maximum at about 90$0^{\circ}C$. The X-ray diffraction pattern of the sintered sample showed both tetragonal and rhombohedral phases. The tetragonal phases intensity increased with the calcining temperature going through a maximum at about 90$0^{\circ}C$ while the rhombohedral phase intensity remained uneffected. The both intensity were about the same at 90$0^{\circ}C$ The dielectric constant of the sintered samples reached a maximum um while the dielectric dissipation factor showed a minimum at the calcining temperature of about 100$0^{\circ}C$.
Low firing temperature substrate were synthesized through tape casting and sintering of glass with cordierite composition and then their properties were investigated. Even though the dielectric properties and XRD patterns of substrates, obtained by tape casting and sintering at 900~100$0^{\circ}C$ for various periods, were similar to those of substrates obtained by dry pressing, the sinterability was enhanced. The substrates were thin and the size was 0.6$\times$50$\times$50mm. From the results of dielectric properties, the sinterability and X-ray diffraction pattern, the proper condition for cofiring process with conductor, Cu, was 90$0^{\circ}C$ for 1h. The properties of the substrate are as follows; the dielectric constant was 5.31(at 1MHz), the dissipation factor was 0.0028, the apparent porosity was 0.28% and the main crystalline phase was $\alpha$-cordierite.
The motivations of the application of shakedown analysis to the earthquake-resistant design of ductile moment-resisting steel structures are presented. The problems which must be solved with this application are also addressed. The illustrative results from a series of static and time history nonlinear analyses of one-bay three-story steel frame and the related discussions have shown that the incremental collapse may be the critical design criterion in case of earthquake loading. Based on the findings, it was concluded that the inelastic excursion mechanism for alternation load pattern, such as in earthquake, should be the sidesway mechanism of the whole structure for the efficient mobilization of the structural energy dissipating capacity and that the shakedown analysis technique can be used as a tool to ensure this mechanism.
