Microblogging services (such as Twitter) are the representative information communication networks during the Web 2.0 era, which have gained remarkable popularity. Weibo has become a popular platform for information dissemination in online social networks due to its large number of users. In this study, a microblog information dissemination model is presented. Related concepts are introduced and analyzed based on the dynamic model of infectious disease, and new influencing factors are proposed to improve the susceptible-infective-removal (SIR) information dissemination model. Correlation analysis is conducted on the existing information dissemination risk and the rumor dissemination model of microblog. In this study, web hyper is used to model rumor dissemination. Finally, the experimental results illustrate the effectiveness of the method in reducing the rumor dissemination of microblogs.
The significant enhancement of the edge portion of computer networks including user-side machines and last mile network links encourages the research of the overlay network based data dissemination systems. Varieties of overlay network based data dissemination systems has distinct purposes, and each of them has a proper structure of an overlay network and a efficient communication protocol. In this paper, overlay network based data dissemination systems for Flash Dissemination, whose target is the distribution of relatively small size data to very large number of recipients within very short time, are explored. Mainly two systems, RECREW and FaReCAST, are introduced and analyzed in the aspects of design considerations for overlay networks and communication protocols. According to evaluations for flash dissemination scenarios, it is observed that the proposed overlay network based flash dissemination systems outperforms the previous overlay network based multicasting systems, in terms of the reliability and the dissemination delay. Moreover, the theoretical analysis of the reliability of data dissemination is provided by analysing FaReCAST.
In this paper, we propose a multiple-disseminators determining mechanism for Efficient Code Dissemination with low-delay(ECoDi) for wireless sensor networks (WSN). Code dissemination is in the spotlight as an important research issue since sensor nodes are necessary for updating new software remotely or fixing bugs dynamically. In particular, the time factor for code dissemination is the most important factor in order that the normal operation of nodes can be continuously performed as soon as finishing the dissemination. For this factor, ECoDi determines the set of disseminators through regression analysis based on the size of distributed code and the time of past unicasts and broadcasts. Then it transmits the entire code as a unicast to multiple disseminators, and the disseminators broadcast the code to the remaining neighbor nodes. Performance results on a testbed show that ECoDi reduces dissemination time significantly compared to a conventional scheme.

The internet is spreading widely and malicious comments which is a negative aspect is increasing. Previous studies have considered anonymity as a cyber characteristic of malicious comments. However, there are a theoretical confusion due to inconsistent results. In addition, the dissemination, one of cyber characteristics, have been mentioned the theoretical relationship on malicious comments, but measurement and empirical study about dissemination were still limited. Therefore, this study developed a measurement of dissemination and investigated the relationship between cyber characteristics (anonymity, dissemination) and malicious comments on Facebook. As a result of research, this study identified that anonymity is not significant on malicious comments and discovered that the dissemination of cyber space has a direct influence on malicious comments. This study suggests that information systems can contribute to malicious comments researches by proposing cyber characteristics.

Cloud computing provides computation, software, data access, and storage services that do not require end-user knowledge of the physical location and configuration of the system that delivers the services. Cloud computing providers have setup several data centers at different geographical locations over the Internet in order to optimally serve needs of their customers around the world. One of the fundamental challenges in geographically distributed clouds is to provide efficient algorithms for supporting inter-cloud data management and dissemination. In this paper, we propose a group quorum system (GQS)-based dissemination for improving the interoperability of inter-cloud in time-critical event dissemination service, such as computing policy updating, message sharing, event notification and so forth. The proposed GQS-based method organizes these distributed clouds into a group quorum ring overlay to support a constant event dissemination latency. Our numerical results show that the GQS-based method improves the efficiency as compared with Chord-based and Plume methods.
In the ubiquitous environment sensor network technologies have advanced for collecting information of the environment. With the rapid growth of sensor network technology, it is necessary and important to share the collected sensor data with a large base of diverse users. In order to provide dissemination of sensor data, we design an information dissemination system using an independent disseminator between provider and consumer. This paper describes how we designed the information dissemination system using one of the possible dissemination patterns for sensor networks, and an efficient matching algorithm called CGIM (Classed Grouping Index Matching) which employs a dynamic re-grouping scheme.
Objective : The incidence of leptomeningeal dissemination from malignant glioma is rare, so the clinical features of this are not well documented yet We attempted to determine the clinical features of leptomeningeal dissemination from malignant gliomas. Methods : We retrospectively analyzed 11 cases of leptomeningeal dissemination of malignant glioma, who were treated at our institution between 2006 and 2009. We investigated the clinical features of these patients by considering the following factors : tumor locations, the events of ventricular opening during surgery and the cerebrospinal fluid (CSF) profiles, including the cytology. Results : The group was composed of 9 males and 2 females. The histological diagnosis of their initial intracranial tumors were 4 primary glioblastoma, 3 anaplastic astrocytoma, 1 anaplastic oligoastrocytoma, 2 ganglioglioma and 1 pleomorphic xanthoastrocyotma with anaplastic features. The mean age of the patients at the time of the initial presentation was $42.8{\pm}10.3$ years. The mean time between surgery and the diagnosis of spinal dissemination was $12.3{\pm}7.9$ (3-28) months. The mean overall survival after dissemination was $2.7{\pm}1.3$ months. All our patients revealed a history of surgical opening of the ventricles. Elevated protein in the CSF was reported for eight patients who had their CSF profiles checked. Conclusion : We propose that in the malignant gliomas, the surgical opening of ventricles can cause the spinal leptomeningeal dissemination and the elevated protein content of CSF may be a candidate marker of leptomeningeal dissemination.

The study aims to discuss various issues on administrative information dissemination of local governments based on analysis of local legislations related to freedom of information. As a theoretical study, it reviews a history and significance of the administrative information dissemination. Furthermore, this study analyzes articles related to administrative information dissemination which are defined by local legislations. As a result, firstly, it confirms that there are a number of cases which those articles are inadequate. Secondly, this study classifies articles related to administrative information dissemination into five types, including the A type which separately contains two different administrative information dissemination contents to the D type which only describes management aspects of administrative information dissemination, and the E type which does not define any articles related to administrative information dissemination.
While many social work studies has focused on the development of practice intervention and demonstration of the efficacy, little attention has been given to the way how the results can be disseminated and utilized in practice area. But attempts to bridge the research-practice gap empathize importance of dissemination and utilization including knowledge utilization, innovation diffusion, information dissemination, program replication, and technology transfer etc. In this recognition, this study that focused on the process after development of program tried to search and analyze the real disseminating process and utilization state with applying Growing-up Skills Program(GUSP) developed and disseminated by this researcher. For the purpose, theories and models for program diffusion were reviewed, and dissemination & utilization of GUSP was analyzed on the 'Herie & Martin's model' with retrospective perspectives. Through this tracer study, these were confirmed or founded as problems of GUSP in disseminating process : lack of specific strategy for the dissemination ; unplanned coping due to little preparation ; and unclear and insufficient understanding of the target system in the beginning stage of dissemination. And followings are suggested for the improvement of social work program dissemination & utilization in the field: to conduct diffusion process on the basis of a proper model; to consider integrative relationship between D&D and dissemination & utilization ; to endeavor for collecting feed back from the field ; and to reinforce social work education and study related to innovation diffusion. These results showed importance of dissemination & utilization in social work and utility of GUSP despite of several limitations. More concerns of dissemination & utilization are needed for the integration of research and practice in Korean social work.

The sensor network is highlighted because it is one of the essentialbase networks in the ubiquitous computing realization. Researches for providing security and efficiency are being perfomed in the various isuues because of the characteristics of sensor nodes and sensor networks. Recently, code dissemination mechanism is recognized as an important research issue since sensor nodes are in the need of updating new software or the need of modifying bugs in dynamically. Generally lots of nodes are in the sensor networks and they are ramdomly deployed in hostile environments. Thus it is especially important that the code dissemination from the base station to nodes should be processed efficienctly and securely. In this paper, we check up the recent existing code dissemination mechanisms, and comparatively analyze the requirements of the code dissemination and the characteristicsof existing mechanisms. Through the analysis, we present future research issues for the code dissemination area. This research can expedite the research on the code dissemination and improve the usability of sensor networks with efficiency and security.
