금속계 마찰재와 제동디스크 간의 마찰특성 연구 (Study of Tribological Characteristics Between Metallic Friction Materials and Brake Disk)

  • 소형 다이나모 시험기를 이용하여 4종류의 금속계 소결마찰재와 내열합금 디스크간의 마찰특성을 평가하였다. 고속철도용 소결마찰재는 항공기용 소결마찰재 보다 높은 마찰계수와 마찰계수 안정성을 나타내며, 마모량도 적었다. 또한, 동합금 기지 마찰재는 철계 기지 마찰재보다 마찰면의 온도가 급격히 상승하면 냉각도 빨리 이루어졌다. 시험 후 모든 마찰면에서 Fe 기지의 산화피막이 형성되었고, 산회피막에 따라 마찰특성이 달라졌으며, 마찰면에서는 정상마 모분이 일부가 마찰면 단차부에서 트랩되는 것을 확인하였다.

  • There are two types of noises in running the rail vehicle. The one is periodic by electric motors, dehumidifiers, and dusting machines. And the other is aperiodic squeal noise by the frictions between the wheels and the rail or the disks and pads. The periodic noises in rail vehicle have been reduced by changing DC motors to AC motors with silencers, and by improving the lubricants. However, almost nothing relating a periodic noise has been studied. In this paper, the experimental methods were applied to understand phenomena of the squeal noise, which was occurred by the friction variation due to aperiodic stick and slip with low repeatability in the process of dry friction of the disk and the pad when a rail vehicle was being braked. By the experimental acoustic test, it was found the specific frequencies relating the squeal noise. And by modal testing, it was measured the resonant frequencies in the disk and the pad-plate which were the components of the braking system, and in the whole braking system, and it was found the specific frequencies having the effects on the squeal noise.

건축단열재 생산시스템 브레이커 마찰특성 (Friction Characteristics for Construction thermal insulation manufacturing system Breaker)

  • Construction heat insulating material for construction is used in large amounts in industry. In the manufacturing process of this insulation material, a thermal insulation material is completed while a polymer in a liquid state passes through Hall breaker. At this time, the quality and form of a product are determined by a hole in the breaker according to the oil pressure of the fluid and the change of the flow velocity. The friction wear action with regard to partner movement between the two levels of quality of materials affects the performance and the lifetimes of machine parts. In this study of a friction test, SM45C, which is a material used to create brake holes, was used. PVC was used to create the specimen. Moreover, an experiment divided a lubricous state and an unlubricated condition. The resulting value over the load of a pin, the revolving speed of a disk, and the standby state of an experimental result disk could be acquired.

마찰재에 함유된 금속섬유의 종류에 따른 마찰 특성 (Tribology of friction materials containing different metal fibers)

  • Friction and wear properties of brake friction materials containing different metal fibers (Al, Cu or Steel fibers) were investigated using a pad-on-disk type friction tester. Two different materials(gray iron and Al-MMC)) were used for disks rubbing against the friction materials. Results from ambient temperature tests revealed that the friction material containing Cu fibers sliding against cast iron disk showed a distinct negative ${\mu}$-ν (friction coefficient vs. sliding velocity) relation implying possible stick-slip generation at low speed. The negative ${\mu}$-ν relation was not observed when the Cu-containing friction materials were rubbed against the. Al-MMC counter surface. As applied loads increased, friction materials showed higher friction coefficients comparatively. Friction materials slid against cast iron disks exhibited higher friction coefficients than Al-MMC disks during high temperature tests. On the other hand, high temperature test results suggested that copper fibers in the friction material improved fade resistance and the steel fibers were not compatible with Al-MMC disks showing severe material transfer and erratic friction behavior during sliding at elevated temperatures.

패드 마모량 감소를 위한 디스크 제동력 패턴 설정에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Establishment of Disc Braking Force Pattern to reduce the Wear Mass of Pad)

  • 고속철도차량의 제동시스템은 전기제동장치, 디스크제동장치, 답면제동장치 등 다양한 제동장치들의 조합으로 구성되며 요구되는 제동성능을 충족하는 범위 내에서 에너지의 효율적인 활용과 마찰재의 경제성을 고려하여 각 제동장치에 대한 제동블랜딩 제어 기능을 포함하고 있다. 일반적으로 요구제동거리를 만족하기 위한 열차 전체에 대한 제동력 패턴을 설정하고 전기제동을 최우선적으로 투입하고 부족한 부분에 대하여 기계제동을 사용하여 부족한 부분을 보상하는 방법을 사용하고 있다. 기계제동장치의 대부분을 차지하고 있는 디스크제동장치는 디스크와 패드 사이의 마찰력을 이용하여 제동력을 확보하는 것으로 사용에 따른 마모가 발생한다. 특히, 고속영역에서 사용하는 경우 패드 마모량은 저속에 비하여 급격히 증가하게 되어 패드의 교환 주기를 단축시킬 뿐만 아니라 제동 초기 과정에서 온도의 상승으로 인한 제동효율의 저하를 가져오는 단점이 있다. 따라서, 본 논문에서는 제동거리, 감속도, 감속도 변화율 등 요구되는 제동성능을 만족시키는 범위 내에서 디스크 제동장치의 패드 마모량 감소를 위한 열차 주행속도에 따른 디스크 제동력 패턴을 설정하는 하나의 방법론으로 제시된 제동초기에서부터 정지할 때까지의 디스크제동에너지의 분산을 최소로 하는 최적화 방법을 이용하여 한국형 고속열차를 바탕으로 제작되는 10량 편성의 고속열차를 대상으로 모든 제동장치가 정상인 경우와 1개의 전기제동장치가 고장이 발생한 경우에 대한 패드 마모량을 구하고 현재 설정된 디스크 제동력 패턴에서의 패드 마모량과의 비교 검토를 수행하였다.經章句索引)${\lrcorner}$이분위오절진행료연구(而分爲五節進行了硏究). 본편기재료상견적흔다잡병, 재임상상유흔대적연구가치. 단시통과역대다차전초(但是通過歷代多次轉抄), 유흔다오식, 착간(錯簡), 가차적부분(假借的部分), 인차유흔다불역리해적지방. 여과불참조다종판본화역대주석가적연구성과(如果不參照多種版本和歷代註釋家的硏究成果), 취무법진정영회기본의(就無法眞正領會其本意). 기어저일점(寄於這一點), 본편논문연구료역대판본화주석가적견해(本篇論文硏究了歷代版本和註釋家的見解), 병진행료교감화교주(幷進行了校勘和校註), 재가어료현토급국어주석(再加於了懸吐及國語注釋), 이기갱유조어정확지리해원문적본의(以期更有助於正確地理解原文的本意). 보고하는 바이다. 관련된 부작용(ADR)이 발생하지 않았다. 따라서 UDB는 본 임상연구 기준에서 포함하는 모든 병력의 만성 간질환에서 ALT 수치가 지속적으로 상승해 있는 경우 효과적이고도 안전하게 투여할 수 있는 제제로 생각된다. pH는 4.4이었으며 최적온도(最適溫度)는 $30^{\circ}C$이었다. 3. Effect of Humidity on Friction Characteristics of Automotive Friction Materials

  • The effects of humidity on friction performance of automotive brake materials were studied using a pad-on-disk type friction tester. Three different friction materials based on a simple formulation were investigated by changing the solid lubricant graphite, MoS$_2$, and Sb$_2$S$_3$. Friction materials without solid lubricants were also examined to study the effect of other ingredients in the matrix on humidity. The friction material containing graphite was strongly affected by the humidity showing lower friction coefficient at high humidity level than other conditions. On the other hand, the friction material containing MoS$_2$exhibited higher friction coefficient at initial stage under high humidity level. The friction material without solid lubricant or with Sb$_2$S$_3$ was not affected by humidity conditions. However, the friction material containing barite showed strong speed dependence.

  • The dry sliding tribological characteristics were investigated using SiC particle-reinforced aluminum composites against semi-metallic frictional materials. The experimental results have indicated that, whether under the condition of continuous braking or not, the wear rates of SiC particle reinforced composites are much less than that of gray cast iron which is used as one of the common brake disk materials. At the same time, their frictional coefficients are about the same.

고온초전도벌크형 전동기의 특성시험 (Performance Evaluation of the HTS Bulk type Motor)

  • The high temperature superconducting bulk can be used as the rotor of an ac motor. This paper presents the fabrication and test results of a ac motor with HTS bulk rotor. The rotor of a conventional squirrel cage induction motor was replaced with cylinder type YBCO bulk. Height and outer diameter of the HTS bulk was 15mm and 46mm, respectively. Eddy current brake using aluminium disk was used to measure the torque of the HTS motor. No load test, locked rotor test and load test were performed to examine the characteristics of the HTS motor. Test results show the motor can rotate at synchronous speed without any special starting circuit. Maximum output power of the constructed HTS motor was 408W.

  • The braking system of train must posses the large baking effort in order to stop the train safety within the limited traveling distance. but, the excessive braking effort has been deteriorated the ride comfort due to high level of deceleration and jerk, and sometimes occurred the skid. because the applied braking force exceeds the allowable adhesive force. this skid causes not only to increase the a stopping distance but also to deteriorate the safety of train and damage the rall surface by wheel flat. In the present paper, braking force for disk brake of Tilting Train eXpress(TTX) was measured though on convention line test and the traction force was estimated by using the analytic model in skid condition. also, we have discussed the relationship between the bake force and traction force in starting condition.

고속 화염 용사법으로 제조된 WC계 Cr3C2 코팅과 WC계 YSZ 코팅의 마찰 및 마모 거동 연구 (Tribological Behavior Analysis of WC-Ni-Cr + Cr3C2 and WC-Ni-Cr + YSZ Coatings Sprayed by HVOF)

  • With the increasing attention to environmental pollution caused by particulate matter globally, the automotive industry has also become increasingly interested in particulate matter, especially particulate matter generated by automobile brake systems. Here, we designed a coating composition and analyzed its mechanical properties to reduce particulate matter generated by brake systems during braking of vehicles. We designed a composition to check the mechanical properties change by adding Cr3C2 and YSZ to the WC-Ni-Cr composite composition. Based on the designed composition, coating samples were manufactured, and the coating properties were analyzed by Vickers hardness and ball-on-disk tests. As a result of the experiments, we found that the hardness and friction coefficient of the coating increased as the amount of Cr3C2 added decreased. Furthermore, we found that the hardness of the coating layer decreased when YSZ was added at 20vol%, but the friction coefficient was higher than the composition with Cr3C2 addition.
