지수치를 이용한 노년 여성의 하반신 체형 유형화에 관한 연구 (Lower Body Somatotype Classification and Discrimination of Elderly Women According to Index)

  • The purpose of this study is to provide the basic data on the development of ready-to-wear clothing for the elderly women as the population of the elderly has been constantly increasing as well as the purchasing power of the aged. The body measurements of 318 elderly women were taken. whose ages were over 60 years and enrolled in colleges for the elderly. sports centers. or business sites in Seoul and the neighboring districts. A total of 39 features in the lower body were used for the anthropometric measurement and analysis. The results of the study are as follows: 1. Indices of height and weight were used for factor analysis. cluster analysis, and discriminant analysis in order to 'classify lower body somatotype according to shape, excluding size factors. From the results of the factor analysis. the 5 factors showed the cumulative sum of square at 75.63%. 2. Somatotype were classified into two types according to a cluster analysis using height and weight dices. Type 1 is the group is relatively tall and has somewhat fat lower limbs. Type 2 is considered fat and has obesity factors around waist and abdomen area. The hit rate for the classified two groups showed the result at 95.9%.

노인복지관을 이용하는 노인의 사회참여 태도, 사회적 지지, 역량이 노인차별경험에 미치는 영향 (The Effects of Social Participation Attitude, Social Support, and Empowerment on Ageism Experience in the Elderly Using Welfare Centers)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to investigate the factors affecting the discrimination of the elderly using welfare centers. Methods: A cross-sectional study was conducted with 217 elderly people from a welfare center in D city. Data were collected using a self-administered questionnaire survey consisting of ageism experience, social participation attitude, social support, and empowerment. For data analysis, descriptive statistics, t-test, one-way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficients, and multiple regression were performed using SPSS/WIN 21.0 program. Results: As a result of analyzing the correlations among the variables, the discrimination experience of the elderly showed negative correlations in social participation attitude and child relationship support. The factors affecting the discrimination experience of the elderly include gender, job, smartphone use, and child relationship support had a significant effect. The explanatory power of the discrimination experience of these factors was 15.4%. Conclusion: This study found that gender, job, social support, and smartphone use were factors influencing the discrimination experience of the elderly. It is hoped that public relations and policy measures should be considered.

  • An AC generator is an important components in producing a electric power and so it requires highly reliable protection relays to minimize the possibility of demage occurring under fault conditions. Conventionally, a DFT based RDR has been used for protecting the generator stator winding. However, when DFTs based on Fourier analysis are used, it has been pointed out that defects can occur during the process of transforming a time domain signal into a frequency domain one which can lead to loss of time domain information. This paper proposes the internal fault detection and fault type discrimination for the stator winding by applying the detailed coefficients by Daubechies Wavelet Transform to overcome the defects in the DFT process. For the case studies reported in the paper, a model system was established for the simulations utilizing the ATP, and this verified the effectiveness of the proposed technique through various off-line tests carried out on the collected data. The propose method is shown to be able to rapidly identify internal fault and did not operate a miss-operation for all the external fault tested.

Color Analysis for the Quantitative Aesthetics of Qiong Kiln Ceramics

  • The subjective experience would degrade the current artificial artistic aesthetic analysis. Since Qiong kiln ceramics have a long history and occupy a very important position in ceramic arts, we employed computer-aided technologies to quickly automatically accurately and quantitatively process a large number of Qiong kiln ceramic images and generate the detailed statistical data. Because the color features are simple and significant visual characteristics, the color features of Qiong kiln ceramics are analyzed for the quantitative aesthetics. The Qiong kiln ceramic images are segmented with GrabCut algorithm. Three moments (1st-order, 2nd-order, and 3rd-order) are calculated in two typical color spaces, namely RGB and HSV. The discrimination powers of the color features are analyzed according to various dynasties (Tang Dynasty, Five Dynasties, Song Dynasty) and various utensils (Pot, kettle, bowl), which are helpful to the selection of the discriminant color features among various dynasties and utensils. This paper is helpful to promoting the quantitative aesthetic research of Qiong kiln ceramics and is also conducive to the research on the aesthetics of other ceramics.

  • The signals of the eddy current testing(ECT) for the examination of the steam generator(SG) tubes in the nuclear power plant(NPP) determine the existence, size, and kind of defects using the variation of impedance signals when a testing coil, driven by alternating current, passes through the SG tube contains defects. The aim of this paper is building a database of the RPC probe signals on the basis of the sizes variation of defects and frequency variation of probe. In this paper 3-D numerical analysis of the ECT signals using the finite element method is performed. Through this study, it is shown variation of magnitude and phase of impedance according to variation of defect size and frequency. From the result of this paper, we can obtain the information which is useful in defect discrimination of SG tube in nuclear power plant.

  • In power transformers, vibration signals can occur at winding and core due to the change of current, voltage, and temperature and the deformation of winding and core. The deformation of winding and core occurs electromagnetic force induced by fault current in power systems. There firem the changes of vibration signals can be very different in normal or fault states of power transformers. We edtect and analyze the changes of vibration signals and use them as a tool for fault diagnosis of power transformers. This paper presents fault discriminating polliblility using the changes of fundamental waves and higher harmonics in power transformers. We showed the fault discriminating functions that are made at each case ; normal state and fault state. These functions are tested by the detected vibration signals, and we showed that the proposed method can discriminate the state of power transformers.

Genetic Diversity Analysis of South and East Asian Duck Populations Using Highly Polymorphic Microsatellite Markers

  • Native duck populations have lower productivity, and have not been developed as much as commercials duck breeds. However, native ducks have more importance in terms of genetic diversity and potentially valuable economic traits. For this reason, population discriminable genetic markers are needed for conservation and development of native ducks. In this study, 24 highly polymorphic microsatellite (MS) markers were investigated using commercial ducks and native East and South Asian ducks. The average polymorphic information content (PIC) value for all MS markers was 0.584, indicating high discrimination power. All populations were discriminated using 14 highly polymorphic MS markers by genetic distance and phylogenetic analysis. The results indicated that there were close genetic relationships among populations. In the structure analysis, East Asian ducks shared more haplotypes with commercial ducks than South Asian ducks, and they had more independent haplotypes than others did. These results will provide useful information for genetic diversity studies in ducks and for the development of duck traceability systems in the market.

Prediction of Galloping Accidents in Power Transmission Line Using Logistic Regression Analysis

  • Galloping is one of the most serious vibration problems in transmission lines. Power lines can be extensively damaged owing to aerodynamic instabilities caused by ice accretion. In this study, the accident probability induced by galloping phenomenon was analyzed using logistic regression analysis. As former studies have generally concluded, main factors considered were local weather factors and physical factors of power delivery systems. Since the number of transmission towers outnumbers the number of weather observatories, interpolation of weather factors, Kriging to be more specific, has been conducted in prior to forming galloping accident estimation model. Physical factors have been provided by Korea Electric Power Corporation, however because of the large number of explanatory variables, variable selection has been conducted, leaving total 11 variables. Before forming estimation model, with 84 provided galloping cases, 840 non-galloped cases were chosen out of 13 billion cases. Prediction model for accidents by galloping has been formed with logistic regression model and validated with 4-fold validation method, corresponding AUC value of ROC curve has been used to assess the discrimination level of estimation models. As the result, logistic regression analysis effectively discriminated the power lines that experienced galloping accidents from those that did not.

뇌파기반 정신적 피로 판별을 위한 딥러닝 모델 (Deep Learning Model for Mental Fatigue Discrimination System based on EEG)

  • 개인의 정신적 피로는 인지능력 및 업무 수행능력을 감소시킬 뿐만 아니라 일상에서 발생하는 크고 작은 사고의 주요 요인이 된다. 본 논문에서는 EEG 기반의 정신적 피로 판별을 위한 CNN 모델을 제안하였다. 이를 위해 안정 상태와 작업 상태에서의 뇌파를 수집하여 제안한 CNN 모델에 적용한 후 모델 성능을 분석하였다. 실험에 참여한 피험자들은 모두 대학교에 재학 중인 오른손잡이 남학생들이며 평균 나이는 25.5세이다. 각 상태에서의 측정된 뇌파에 대해 스펙트럼분석을 수행하였으며, CNN 모델의 입력데이터로써 원시 EEG 신호, 절대파워, 상대파워를 사용하여 CNN모델의 성능을 비교 분석하였다. 그 결과, 알파대역 후두엽 위치의 상대파워가 가장 좋은 성능을 나타내었다. 모델정확도는 훈련데이터 85.6%, 검증데이터 78.5%, 시험데이터 95.7%이다. 제안한 모델은 정신적 피로 판별을 위한 자동화시스템 개발에 적용될 수 있다.
