In this paper, we propose a parameter-free smoothing method for speckle images, i.e., an adaptive least squares image smoothing technique implemented in a multistep environment. The pertinent smoothing window size at a given pixel is determined by the discontinuity measure which is defined by the ratio of the local variance and mean squares of intensity values of pixels over the smoothing window centered there. The mode of the discontinuity measure at each step is estimated to replace the noise variance parameter that is required in the adaptive smoothing. Computer simulation shows that the proposed multistep technique can smooth homogeneous regions satisfactorily while preserving fine details near boundaries.

본 연구에서는 DCT(Discrete Cosine Transform) 영역에서 불연속 특징을 검출하여 내용기반의 동적 비디오 전송을 위한 트랜스코딩 방법을 제안한다. 이 방법에 의하여 동영상 스트림 각각의 DCT블록은 내부의 대표적인 불연속의 크기에 따라 다르게 트랜스코딩되어 전송되며, 실험에서 같은 대역폭을 유지하면서 기존의 저주파 통과 필터에 의한 방법보다 내용기반 방법이 더 좋은 비디오 화질을 나타내며 픽셀 영역에서의 방법보다 처리 시간이 빠름을 나타낸다.

In this paper, we drive useful data from 3-D depth information as input using discontinuity boundary or clustering. And using magnitude and direction of z-gradient we classify the data into adaptable primitive types through intrinsic and stochastical processing. After these processing information is reconstructed for forming data base. And make relationship and standard view position for matching.

본 논문에서는 인터넷 상의 분산 비디오 스트리밍 서비스에서 저장된 가변 비트율 비디오의 전송에 대해 고려한다. 스트리밍 서비스에서 전송 중에 대역폭 재조정 프로토콜에 따라 대역폭 할당이 줄게 되면 흔히 재생의 끊김 현상이 발생한다. 본 논문에서는 이러한 문제점을 극복할 수 있는 가변 비트율 비디오에 대한 전송 기법을 제안한다. 이 기법에서는 저장된 가변 비트율 비디오에 대한 사전 정보를 사용하여 재생이 끊김없이 이루어질 수 있도록 전송한다. 또한 제안된 전송 기법 하에서의 수용 제어를 위해 버퍼-대역폭 관계를 근사적으로 계산할 수 있는 기법을 제안한다.

본 논문에서는 음성신호의 정현파 합성방법 중 하나인 선형위상을 사용한 중첩합산방법에 대하여 합성응성의 연속성을 개선시킨 새로운 방법을 제안한다. 기존의 중첩합산 정현파 합성방법은 프레임의 중간 지점에 대한 위상 값을 예측하기 위해 합성 파형의 경계면에 대한 위상 차이를 최소화하는 방법을 사용하였으나, 제안된 방법은 중간지점의 위상만이 아닌 최종 합성된 신호들 간의 차이를 최소화하는 방법을 사용한다. 이러한 합성신호의 오차 함수를 최소화하는 과정은 정현파 크기 값을 가중치로 사용한 위상오차 함수로 근사화 될 수 있다. 제안된 합성 방법의 연속성에 대한 성능을 검증하기 위해 합성신호의 전 구간에 대한 합성 신호들 간의 평균 오차 값 및 청취자 테스트를 하였다. 기존의 위상 오차함수와 비교하여 개선된 연속성 성능을 얻을 수 있었다.

불연속면의 분석은 방향성 데이터로서 적은 표본을 가지고 암반의 전체를 추론해야 하는 문제를 갖고 있다. 실험실에서 분석된 표본은 시추공에 의하여 분석된 데이터이므로 그 크기가 제한되어 있어, 거대한 암석을 분석하는 것은 대단히 어렵다. 따라서 이런 표본을 이용하여 거대한 암석의 대표 방향성, 집락 정도, 불연속면의 간격, 암석의 크기를 결정하는 연장성에 관하여 가정된 분포 하에서 계산하고, 이를 이용하여 암석의 분포형태를 관찰할 수 있는 확률 절리망을 그리는 알고리즘을 연구한다. 그리고 실제 불연속면 데이터를 적용하여 이들을 구하고 확률절리망을 작성한다.

Novel unified criterion to optimize power coupling at optical directional couplers with discontinuous input/output interfaces is first defined and evaluated numerically. The numerical results reveal that maximum power transfer between guiding slabs without discontinuous interfaces is dominated by conventional phase-matching condition while the guiding structures with discontinuous interfaces has maximum power transfer at an equi-partition condition, which describes the power distribution condition between two rigorous modes propagating through optical couplers.

The defected ground structure (DGS) for microstrip structure can be used to protect analog/RF signal from SSN interference of digital circuits on PCB with common ground. However, the basic DGS gives rise to undesired emissions that may interfere with nearby circuitry due to the ground discontinuity. In this paper, we have proposed the modified structure, Corrugated DGS and the method to reduce the radiation by adding the lumped resistor on the proposed Corrugated DGS.

본 논문에서는 위성 항법 시스템(GPS)의 불연속성과 수신 음영 지역에서의 속도 추적 한계를 극복하기 위하여 가속도계와 GPS를 이용한 이동 물체의 속도를 추정하는 시스템을 제안한다. 시스템은 이동 물체에 부착된 GPS 수신기와 가속도계의 항법 정보를 입력받아 물체의 진동과 충격 그리고 가속도계 자체의 오차에 기인한 잡음을 보정하고, 이를 이용하여 GPS 음영 지역에서 이동 물체의 속도 추정과 GPS 항법 정보의 불연속성을 보완할 수 있도록 설계되었다. 본 시스템에 사용하기 위해 GPS와 가속도계를 이용한 칼만 필터 구조를 설계하고, GPS 수신 음영 지역에서도 물체의 속도를 추적할 수 있음을 검증하여, 향후 자동항법장치 등 텔레매틱스 산업에서의 응용 가능성을 제시하고자 한다.
