재난 대응 교육이 병원간호사의 재난간호에 대한 태도와 수행준비도, 수행능력에 미치는 효과 (The Effects of Disaster Training Education on the Attitudes, Preparedness, and Competencies in Disaster Nursing of Hospital Nurses)

  • Purpose: The purposes of this study were to determine the effects of a disaster training education for hospital nurses in terms of attitudes, preparedness, and competence of disaster nursing. Methods: One group pretest and posttest design was adopted. Data were collected from April 20th to May 20th, 2017 using 80 hospital nurses enrolled at a tertiary hospital located in D city. Results: The levels of attitudes (t=-2.31, p=.024), preparedness (t=-7.67, p<.001), and competencies (t=-16.82, p<.001) of disaster nursing at the posttest were significantly higher than those of the pretest. There were statistically significant relationships among nurses' attitudes, preparedness, and competencies of disaster nursing. The attitudes and preparedness of disaster nursing had significant effects on the competencies of disaster nursing. Conclusion: Disaster training education improved attitudes, preparedness, and competencies of disaster nursing in hospital nurses. Therefore, it is recommended to develop more practical disaster training education programs toward hospital nurses as well as nursing students as a way to enhance the competence of disaster nursing.

  • Purpose: The study aimed to examine the effects of disaster nursing simulation training on attitudes toward disaster management, disaster preparedness, learning self-efficacy and nursing practice satisfaction in nursing college students. Methods: The study is based on a one-group pretest-posttest design. A total of 95 nursing students were recruited from a nursing college. Disaster nursing simulation training for fire and earthquake situations were provided for 8 hours in one day. Results: There were significant differences in nursing students' attitudes toward disaster management (t=2.20, p=.030), disaster preparedness (t=7.88, p<.001), learning self-efficacy (t=3.69, p<.001), and nursing practice satisfaction (t=5.28, p<.001). Conclusion: Based on our findings, it is necessary to implement disaster nursing simulation training to improve disaster nursing competency of college students.

보건소 방문간호사의 재난대비 및 재난간호핵심능력 영향요인 (Disaster Preparation of Visiting Nurses in Public Health Centers)

  • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to identify the factors influencing personal disaster preparation and disaster nursing core competency among visiting nurses in public health centers. Methods: A descriptive survey study was adopted. A convenience sample was taken from 277 subjects in three regions. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, correlation, Pearson correlation coefficient and multiple regression. Results: The mean personal disaster preparation and disaster nursing core competency scores were 11.13 and 76.87, respectively. Personal disaster preparation was statistically significant by experience of disaster victims and disaster management guideline. Disaster nursing core competency was statistically significant by participation in future disaster recovery. As a result of multiple regression analysis, personal disaster preparation accounted for 14.9 of the variance by experience of disaster victims and disaster management guidelines; disaster nursing core competency accounted for 8.9 of the variance by perception of disaster nursing. Conclusion: Although visiting nurses are ill-prepared for disaster, global natural and man-made disasters can occur regardless of time and place. Disaster education and training should therefore be included in nurses' fundamental education.

간호대학생의 재난준비도, 재난간호 핵심수행능력 및 교육요구도에 대한 연구 (A Study on Disaster Preparedness, Core Competencies and Educational Needs on Disaster Nursing of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구는 간호학생의 재난준비도와 재난간호 핵심수행능력 및 교육요구도를 파악하여 재난간호 교육과정 개발을 위한 기초자료를 제공하고자 시행된 조사연구로 D 지역 간호대학 및 간호학과 4학년 252명을 대상으로 시행되었다. 연구결과 대상자의 재난간호 수행능력은 평균 2.76이었으며, 재난간호 수행능력중 "재난상황시 문서기록절차"가 2.34, "소속기관의 재난관련지침"이 2.37로 가장 낮았다. 또한, 대상자의 재난준비도는 평균 2.14이었으며, 가장 낮은 항목은 "집에서의 재난대피연습" 항목이었다. 대상자의 재난간호 핵심수행능력에 영향을 미치는 요인으로는 재난준비도(${\beta}$=.48), 재난교육요구도(${\beta}$=.21), 성적(${\beta}$=.26), 재난교육 여부(${\beta}$=-.11)로 나타났다. 본 연구결과 간호학생의 재난준비와 재난간호 핵심수행능력은 부족한 실정으로 나타났으며 재난간호에 대한 교육이 절실히 필요하며 간호대학생을 위한 재난간호 교육과정 개발을 위한 교육내용에 대한 연구가 필요하다.

보건교사의 재난간호역량에 미치는 영향요인 (The Factors Influencing on Disaster Nursing Competency of School Health Teachers)

  • Objectives: This study aims to identify influencing factors of disaster nursing competency among school health teachers. Methods: Data were collected from 110 school health teachers at the offfice of education in G province using a convenience sampling method. Data were analyzed by descriptive statistics, t-test, ANOVA, Scheffe test, Pearson's correlation coefficients, and multiple regression analysis. Results: There was a significant difference in disaster nursing competency according to the general characteristics of the subjects in terms of clinical nurse work experience (t=3.40, p=.001) and disaster education experience (t=2.80, p=.006). Disaster perception and disaster nursing competency showed a significant positive correlation (r=.43, p<.001). In final analysis, disaster perception (𝛽=.35, p<.001), career as a nurse (𝛽=.23, p=.009), experience in disaster education (𝛽=.17, p=.048) was found to have a significant effect on disaster nursing competency. Conclusions: Based on the results of this study, disaster perception should be raised to improve the disaster nursing competency of school health teachers. Speicalized disaster nursing & health education based on their experience before appointing school health teachers and disaster response simulation training tailored to school field conditions should be regularly conducted.

간호대학생을 위한 재난간호역량 측정도구 개발 (Development of the Disaster Nursing Competency Scale for Nursing students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생을 위한 재난간호역량 측정할 수 있는 도구를 개발하기 위함이다. 자료수집은 270명의 간호대학생을 대상으로 실시하였으며, 재난간호역량의 핵심개념 도출, 예비도구의 문항개발, 내용타당도 검정 및 본 조사 도구의 문항 선정, 도구의 신뢰도와 타당도 평가과정을 거쳐 재난간호지식 11문항, 재난간호기술 11문항으로 구성된 재난간호역량 도구를 개발하였다. 이 도구는 앞으로 간호학생의 재난간호 역량을 확인하고 관련 요인을 파악하는 연구에 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

국내 간호대학생 대상 재난간호 연구의 동향 : 체계적 문헌고찰 (Trends of Nursing Research on Disasters for Nursing Students in Korea: A Systematic Review)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify trends of nursing research on disaster for nursing students in Korea through a systematic review. Methods: A systematic review was conducted across international and domestic electronic databases, and 13 of 506 studies were identified for this review. Results: The most commonly used variables in the study were 'disaster nursing competency (23.5%)' and 'disaster awareness (20.6%)'. In addition, the major factors influencing the disaster nursing competency of nursing students were analyzed as 'disaster preparedness'. However, many tools were developed for the needs of researchers rather than those that were sufficiently valid and reliable. Also, most studies did not use the theoretical framework. Conclusion: There is necessary to develop an instrument with confirmed reliability and validity to measure disaster nursing competency of nursing students. Finally, disaster education and research should be conducted based on the theoretical framework to enhance the disaster nursing competency of nursing students.

COVID-19 환자 간호경험에 따른 대학병원 간호사의 재난간호 핵심역량 영향 요인 (Factors Influencing on Core Competencies in Disaster Nursing by University Hospital Nurses' Experiences of Caring for Patients with COVID-19)

  • Purpose: Considering that nurses perform critical roles for caring for patients during the COVID-19 pandemic, it is important to investigate core competencies in disaster nursing. This study aimed to identify influencing factors on core competencies in disaster nursing by examining relationships between attitudes toward disaster management, disaster preparedness, and core competencies in disaster nursing in university hospital nurses' experiences of caring for patients with COVID-19. Methods: The participants were nurses working in two university hospitals who had either experiences of caring for patients with COVID-19 or no experiences. A questionnaire was distributed to 198 participants between October and November 2021. Results: The findings of multiple regression analysis demonstrated that the factors related to core competencies in disaster nursing in the participants were disaster preparedness (β=.80, p<.001) and nurses' experiences of caring for patients with COVID-19 (β=.11, p=.007). Specifically, the factors related to core competencies in disaster nursing in those having experiences of direct caring for patients with COVID-19 were disaster preparedness (β=.84, p<.001) and marital status (β=.16, p=.001). The factors related to core competencies in disaster nursing in those with indirect caring for patients with COVID-19 were disaster preparedness (β=.75, p<.001) and an intention to participate in disaster response (β=.16, p=.037). Conclusion: Based on this study, it is important to develop disaster nursing education programs focusing on the full spectrum of disaster management including disaster preparedness, disaster response, and disaster recovery training.

일 지역 간호대학생의 재난간호핵심역량에 미치는 융합적 영향요인 (Convergence lnfluencing Factors on Disaster Nursing Core Competencies of Nursing Students)

  • 본 연구의 목적은 간호대학생의 재난간호핵심역량에 미치는 융합적 영향요인을 파악하고자 시도되었다. D 광역시 소재 간호대학생 187명을 대상으로 하였고, SPSS 18.0 프로그램으로 t-검정, ANOVA, 상관관계 및 다중회귀분석을 실시하였다. 연구결과, 재난간호핵심역량의 평균 평점은 3.15점(±0.40) 이었고, 대상자의 학년이 높을수록, 임상실습만족도가 높은 군이 재난간호핵심역량이 높았다. 재난간호핵심역량은 재난인식, 재난 관련 태도 및 자기효능감과 유의한 정적인 상관관계를 보여주었다. 대상자의 재난간호핵심역량 예측요인으로는 자기효능감, 재난 관련 태도 및 학년으로 나타났고, 이러한 변수들은 간호대학생의 재난간호핵심역량을 19.1% 설명하였다. 그 중에서 자기효능감이 가장 중요한 예측요인이었다. 간호대학생의 재난간호핵심역량을 강화하기 위해서는 재난인식, 재난 관련 태도 및 자기효능감을 강화할 수 있는 재난 관련 교육과정 및 교과목을 개발하여 실질적이고 효과적인 교육이 운영될 수 있도록 해야 할 것이다.

대학 부속 한방병원 간호사의 재난간호역량에 미치는 영향요인 (Factors Affecting Disaster Nursing Competency of Nurses at University Oriental Medicine Hospital)

  • Purpose: This study was conducted to identify factors affecting the disaster nursing competency of nurses at a university oriental medicine hospital. Methods: The survey was conducted on 115 nurses at a university oriental medicine hospital from December 1, 2022 to January 30, 2023. Data analysis was performed using t-test, one way ANOVA, Pearson correlation coefficient, and multiple regression analysis. Results: Factors affecting the disaster nursing competency of nurses at a university oriental medicine hospital were perception of disaster and working experience at an oriental medicine hospital. Conclusions: It is necessary to increase perception of disaster and provide disaster education appropriate for their profession in order to improve the disaster nursing competency of nurses at university oriental medicine hospital. In addition, organizational efforts are needed to increase the long-term disaster nursing competency of nurses at university oriental medicine hospitals.
