Study on the Next Disaster Safety Communication Network in M2M Communication (사물지능통신을 이용한 차세대 재난안전통신망에 관한 연구)

  • In the past few years, M2M (Machine-to-Machine) applications have become a hot topic in the wireless industry. While M2M applications can be used for many purposes (smart homes, smart metering/electricity meter reading, fleet management, mobile workforce, automobile insurance, vending machines, etc), and in many sectors (healthcare, agriculture, commercial, industrial, retail, utility, etc.), smart metering applications or smart grids present the biggest growth potential in the M2M market today. M2M platform is the future ubiquitous network technologies which provide the integrated service with the networks and devices. The promising technologies to tackle these problems are the Semantic technologies, for interoperability, and the Agent technologies for management of complex systems. In this paper the information communication technique based on the disaster prevention system's for the M2M, concepts and its requirement technology and application are studied.

  • After DTV transition, frequency allocation to efficiently utilize 700 MHz band, which is remained as Digital Dividend, is in progress domestically and internationally. This paper investigates global frequency allocation of 700 MHz band and utilization of the band, and analyzes domestic wireless technology methods and requested frequency bandwidth by use. In addition, the paper suggests what needs to be considered in case of building public integrated radio network that focuses on disaster and safety network; the integrated radio network also includes railway network and e-Navigation.

  • In South Korea, to effective and systematic response to disasters, the government will build wireless communication network for PPDR(Public Protection and Disaster Relief) on a national level by 2015. To do it, as MOPAS(Ministry of Public Administration and Security) requested the new frequency assignment for PPDR, KCC(Korea Communications Commission) has been examined new frequency allocations about TETRA and WiBro technologies. In this paper, we were defined the technical parameters, were estimated the spectrum of TETRA-TRS requirements for Korean wireless communication of PPDR based on M.2033 methodology recommended by ITU-R.

  • Notifying emergency evacuation methods, accurate disaster location and evacuation route guidance can be very active alternatives to quickly minimize evacuation and casualties in disaster situation in the development of subway disaster prevention detection system that detects the disaster signs at the subway station early on the basis of Internet of things and leads passengers to evacuate. It's not easy to ensure perfect functioning of fire fighting facilities and equipments due to underground space structure with narrow exits. Therefore, we developed disaster provision EL Display integrated board that can induce the most efficient evacuation and the field experiment was conducted to examine the practical application in this study. Especially the applicability was verified by field application test because there is no case in which EL panels are used to evacuate disasters.

  • It is important to quickly and accurately build a disaster network or tactical mobile communication network adapting to the field. In configuring the traditional wireless communication systems, the parameters of the base station are set through cell planning. However, for cell planning, information on the environment must be established in advance. If parameters which are not appropriate for the field are used, because they are not reflected in cell planning, additional optimization must be carried out to solve problems and improve performance after network construction. In this paper, we present a rapid mobile communication network construction and optimization method using artificial intelligence and SON technologies in mobile communication base stations. After automatically setting the base station parameters using the CNN model that classifies the terrain with path loss prediction through the DNN model from the location of the base station and the measurement information, the path loss model enables continuous overage/capacity optimization.

  • Is with the development which economic growth is quick to do, the transportation amount of material of the sea increases suddenly and with from the sea to be big the sea disaster which is small occurs it is like that nothing it analyzes the communication network civil official system and that facility present condition of the sea which is more important with to research the advanced anger plan and the efficient civil official system of the domestic sea communication network, it does to sleep.

  • This research paper surveyed the awareness of general administrative officials who oversee the disaster management and firefighting officials who take part in emergency rescue work in local governments on disaster response exercises. The result of the survey showed that both officials acknowledged the need of the equipment used in disaster response exercises, securing the budgets for exercises, establishing a network among related institutions, reflecting actual conditions and local characteristics to the exercises, reflecting the result of exercise evaluations to the disaster response manual and next exercises, and securing a command communication system required for exercises.

  • With the development of the today's advanced industry civilization, We are always inhering a safety frigidity about disasters of various kinds when and where we may happen. The fires and disasters to be enlarged day by day are reported everyday through the mass communication. Therefore, a prevention countermeasure about the every kind fire and disaster is above all important along the social and the days requirement. As a kind of such countermeasure, this paper is proposed about automatic transmission system of disasters alarm by using wire and wireless communication network. The automatic transmission system prevents the unexpected fire or disaster from a sudden occurrence at the house, industrial field or at the place without the human. The proposed system has the characteristic of high precision and high response speed comparing with conventional system. Also, as the proposed system is small size and lightweight, the users have economic advantage and simply install the system.

  • At the present time, buildings are designed higher and more complex than ever before. Therefore the potential disasters are happened such as fire, power outage, earthquake, flood, hurricanes. Their disasters require people inside buildings to be evacuated as soon as possible. This paper presents a new disaster evacuation guidance concept of inner buildings, whiche aims at integrated the constructing of a sensor network and a guidance light networks in order to provide a quick detection of disasters and accurate evacuation guidance based on indoor geo-information, and sends these instructions to people. In this paper, we present the integrated logical model based on sensor and guidance light networks for the fire disaster management in inner building using our concept. And we verify proposed logical model according to experiments with visualization and operations on map.
