In this paper, I will explore disparate voices embedded in the interactions of stories in which personal, cultural, historical, and mythical consciousness brings up diverse ideas about the experiences of Native Americans. The accommodation of differences and changes is clearly manifested through the healing ceremony of Tayo, which poses some practical questions: what could be the authentic tradition of Native Americans?; which direction should it be led to? As these questions suggest, Tayo needs to think over and work through the way that Native oral stories will enrich the signification of being Indian within multicultural U. S. society. In other words, Tayo should transfer the oppositional relationship between Anglo and Native American world into an interactive one to bring forth new meanings concerning their interactions. As a hybrid, Tayo begins to recognize that his fragmented consciousness could represent the pervasive but surmountable anxiety about the cultural clash between Native and White Americans. Going through the multiple layers of his stories, Tayo learns that Native Americans need to hold a balanced viewpoint firmly: this demonstrates that storytelling brings restoration and renewal to him. As a result of Betonie's healing ceremony and his intimate relationship with Ts'eh, Tayo comes to have a holistic comprehension about how all the living things are interconnected to one another. After acquiring this recognition, Tayo succeeds in his quest to get back Josiah's cattle and recovers his identity as a Laguna Pueblo Indian, still letting diverse voices, cultures, and stories flow into the process of storytelling. As the last scene in which the conversations among Tayo, Auntie, and Grandmother took place illustrates, Tayo has newly secured a position that will require him to create a new, alternative story, not just repeating previous stories.

The purpose of this study is to identify reading competency and its components according to the concept of reading competency in order to strengthen the reading competency of children and adolescents with disabilities, develop diagnostic questions, and provide basic data for the development of a reading competency diagnostic tool for children and adolescents with disabilities, Research methods include literature research, brainstorming, delphi survey, and preliminary research. As a result of the study, the components of the reading competency diagnostic tool are broadly divided into 2 areas (affective domain, environmental domain), 4 categories (reading motivation, reading attitude, human environment, and physical environment), and a total of 13 components in each of the 4 categories (Reading interest, reading value, reading recognition, reading expectations, reading habits, reading efficacy, reading immersion, reading anxiety (avoidance), home/family, school/teacher, peers, reading environment, media environment) and the corresponding questions. was developed. Based on these results, a direction for developing a reading competency diagnostic tool for children and adolescents with disabilities was presented.

In order to efficiently manage groundwater resources, it is necessary to establish clear definition about the rights to use groundwater because it directly governs the interests of various stakeholders, from users to policy makers. In this paper, we examined the characteristics of Korea's rights to use groundwater through legal precedents, public recognition, laws, and institutional stipulaton. Inclarity about the scope and definition of the right, and the absence of legal basis ruling the exclusion and duration of groundwater use have entailed numerous cases of legal disputes between the parties with incompetible interests. In the perception survey, various responses were obtained from the surveyee regarding the scope of rights perceived by groundwater users, how to respond to groundwater shortages, and opinions about expanding public uses of groundwater. In Korea, the legal authority to use groundwater is governed by different laws while considering groundwater as both private and public property. In foreign countires, the right to use water is separated from property ownership, and it limits the volume and pumping rate of groundwater during a specified period. In order to better manage groundwater resources, it is necessary to come up with a public consensus on the right to use groundwater by considering the opinions of various stakeholders and accomodating them in adminstrative effort in directing groundwater management.

Recently, automated solutions using collaborative robots have been emerging in various industries. Their primary functions include Pick & Place, Peg in the Hole, fastening and assembly, welding, and more, which are being utilized and researched in various fields. The application of these robots varies depending on the characteristics of the grippers attached to the end of the collaborative robots. To grasp a variety of objects, a gripper with a high degree of freedom is required. In this paper, we propose a service automation system using a multi-degree-of-freedom gripper, collaborative robots, and vision sensors. Assuming various products are placed at a checkout counter, we use three cameras to recognize the objects, estimate their pose, and create grasping points for grasping. The grasping points are grasped by the multi-degree-of-freedom gripper, and experiments are conducted to recognize barcodes, a key task in service automation. To recognize objects, we used a CNN (Convolutional Neural Network) based algorithm and point cloud to estimate the object's 6D pose. Using the recognized object's 6d pose information, we create grasping points for the multi-degree-of-freedom gripper and perform re-grasping in a direction that facilitates barcode scanning. The experiment was conducted with four selected objects, progressing through identification, 6D pose estimation, and grasping, recording the success and failure of barcode recognition to prove the effectiveness of the proposed system.

This study is a scoping review to identify the research trend on the awareness and use of artificial intelligence in the nursing field in South Korea. The methodological framework of Arskey and O'Malley was used, and studies published from 2010 to 2023 were analyzed. A total of 20 studies were used in the final review, and most of the descriptive studies were published in academic journals. The most relevant variables in artificial intelligence research were related to clinical nursing, and the literature topics were artificial intelligence recognition and readiness for the use of artificial intelligence, nursing adaptation, and artificial intelligence-related nursing ethics. This study systematically analyzed the current status of artificial intelligence in the nursing field in Korea and suggested the direction of further research. This study propose follow-up research to develop the capacity to utilize artificial intelligence in Korea's nursing clinical and educational sectors and to support its effectiveness.

This study conducted over two rounds Delphi survey targeting experts in the fields of roads, transportation, automobiles, intelligent transport systems(ITS), and communications to analyze the direction of change in road design, operation, and systems in the Lv.4/4+ autonomous driving era. To construct the Delphi survey items, a basic survey was conducted. The first and second Delphi surveys targeted experts in fields closely related to autonomous driving. The results of the survey revealed an expectation that in the future, transportation operations would change focus to shared autonomous vehicle(AV) and public transportation transfers, and there would be corresponding changes in the cross-sectional configuration. Exclusive lanes for AV are expected to be introduced commencing from highways and general national roads, and there was a consensus that they should be installed in the center of the road rather than on the sides and would use the same lane width as that of the existing road. In terms of facilities for AVs, it was found that it would be necessary to expand pedestrian-vehicle separation facilities, insert communication chips into facilities for location recognition, advance precision maps, and expand roadside communication facilities.
In June 2023, the term "spatial computing" began gaining recognition among the public with Apple's Vision Pro announcement, and interest surged exponentially after its official release in February 2024. With the market opening up, there's a need to analyze public perception for sustainable growth of Spatial Computing and provide evidence-based strategies for industry and government response. This study explores domestic public perception of Spatial Computing using various text mining techniques and seeks strategic directions for successful market penetration based on the analysis. Significantly, the study contributes by leading research on Spatial Computing, proposing new research methodologies, and offering strategic and policy directions for stakeholders.

This study examined university students' view on the importance of attending rituals of congratulation or condolence in social life, and the extent to which they recognized the manners of offering congratulation or condolence. It also looked into the plans and content of education on such manners required by the students. The study aimed at seeking a direction for education on the manners of offering congratulation or condolence in order to help the students acquire an appropriate conception of offering congratulation or condolence and contribute to firmly establishing a sound culture of conveying congratulation or condolence. The following results were obtained in the study. 1. One a five-point scale, university students' recognitions of the importance of attending rituals of congratulation or condolence were revealed as follows: attending condolence rituals(4.55) > attending wedding ceremonies(4.30) > visiting sick acquaintances(4.03) > attending birthday parties (3.50) > attending openings(3.47) > attending promotion or retirement parties(3.42). 2. One a five-point scale, university students' recognitions of the manners of offering congratulation or condolence in social life were as follows: the manners of attending condolence rituals(4.20) > the manners of attending wedding ceremonies(4.06) > the manners of attending promotion or retirement parties(3.9) > the manners of attending openings(3.80) > the manners of attending birthday parties(3.69) > the manners of visiting sick acquaintances(3.44). 3. One a five-point scale, university students' requirements for the content of education on the manners of conveying congratulation and condolence were as follows: education on the manners of attending condolence rituals(4.08) > education on the manners of visiting sick acquaintances(3.35) > education on the manners of attending wedding ceremonies(3.27) > education on the manners of attending promotion and retirement parties(2.96) > education on the manners of attending birthday parties(2.91) > education on the manners of attending openings(2.91). 4. One a five-point scale, university students' requirements for the plan for education on the manners of conveying congratulation and condolence were as follows: 'The education content should be applicable in real life'(4.42) > 'The education content should be easily understandable' (4.23) > 'Information or materials related to the education content should be easily accessible'(4.01) > 'The theory and actual practice of education should be taught in parallel' (3.96) > 'Education related materials should be utilized'(3.92) > 'Students' demands should be reflected when structuring the content of education'(3.91). 5. The study examined the relationship among university students' recognitions of the importance of attending rituals of congratulation or condolence, their recognitions of the manners of offering congratulation or condolence, and their demands regarding such manners. According to the results, a static relationship was found in all sub-areas, indicating students show higher recognition of practicing manners of conveying congratulation or condolence as they have higher recognition of attending rituals of congratulation or condolence in social life. In addition, higher recognition of practicing manners of conveying congratulation or condolence made them demand more for the necessity of plan and content of education on the manners of offering congratulation or condolence in university.
The purpose of this study is to review educational value of cultural heritage sites first and then, to examine the importance of interpretation and interpretation methods and process briefly to utilize cultural heritage sites as important resources for public education and cultural tourism. The educational value of cultural heritage sites is not limited to provide visitors with various information on historical facts and events related to the cultural heritage site, but to provide the public with a new recognition of the importance of the preservation of cultural heritage sites by understanding the site well. In order to utilize the educational value of the cultural heritage site, interpretation must be emphasized as an important element of cultural heritage sites management and much attention should be given on the development and practice of interpretation programs in each cultural heritage site. In order to develop an interpretation program of the site, a specific target audience must be defined first to find most resonable scope and direction of an interpretation program and then, site specific interpretation themes (or a theme) should be developed from the interpretive topic. According to these defined elements, an interpretation program(s) is established by using various interpretation methods and techniques in order to provide visitors with useful information and knowledge on the site efficiently. Interpretation methods and techniques are various as defined by various ways and most effective methods or techniques are employed as a specific interpretation program is presented most effectively. The evaluation processes in planing stage, during developing stage, and after completion of interpretation program development are important processes to find out any problems of planed interpretation program and to revise or update the interpretation program. Conclusively, the direction of cultural heritage sites management in Korea has focused on the conservation and restoration of cultural heritage sites to preserve the original conditions of cultural heritage sites so far. This direction on current practice on cultural heritage sites management should he changed to more active utilization of the sites and interpretation of the sites is a way to accomplish the this goal.
Seokjeong JEONG-JIK LEE is a scholar who tried to render a form of service for his country by writing works of literature during the crisis of the Period of Modern Enlightenment. He mainly expressed his perception of reality through an evaluation of historical figures. He left behind a text on the Analects of Confucius, which is known as the '10 questions and answers regarding the Analects of Confucius', in his posthumous work. It seems that he wrote it to be used as lecture material for his students. The purpose of this thesis is to analyze his recognition to the Analects of Confucius and its learning direction expressed in the writing '10 questions and answers regarding the Analects of Confucius'. With respect to the word ren(仁), which is the most fundamental concept of the Analects, he viewed his life in an introspective way from the standpoint of a 'Hoinyupe(好仁有蔽)', which means that if you like kindness and fairness but don't like learning it, then there will be negative effects, and through the 'Gwangwajiin(觀過知仁)', which means that you will know for sure kindness and fairness when you observe wrongdoing, not the general viewpoint of 'Humaneness or Love'. He tried to determine the meaning of ren, and virtue(德) through a common denominator from an overall point of view. It might have been a reflection of his thoughts that a sound comprehension of powerful countries was needed. In terms of relationship between Gunja(君子) and Myeong(命), Gunja needs to make constant efforts to understand Myeong as a talented person who can maintain order. The direction of learning was examined under three categories: Jongipjibang (從入之方), Gunjajiryu(君子之類), and Sumunihae(隨文而解). Jongipjibang is defined as a way to complement the weaknesses of leaners according to their characteristics and it promotes a focus on pushing ethics into practice rather than acquiring knowledge as it is today. Gunja was classified into 3 stages. However, it merely provides standards to help learners' understandings, so not all students may fall into these stages. Sumunihae gives explanations of commentaries on the book. Seokjeong remarked that the meaning was not different even if the same concept was annotated differently in the "Four Books". This is because the context was emphasized according to the principle of 'Sosisojeol Pilchakpilseom (所始所切, 必着必贍)'.
