This study was intended to suggest the desirable direction in the 7th national curriculum revision through the illustration analysis of the elementary science textbooks in the 6th national curriculum. The analysis system was composed of two categories, (1)the kind of illustrations (2)the .ole of illustrations The kind of illustrations was divided into five subcategories such as photograph, pictures, illustrations, cartoons and diagrams. And the role of illustrations was divided into four subcategories such as motive induction, guidance for experimentation, the presentation of data and the results of experimentation. Each sentence in the textbooks was considered as an analyzing units. The frequency and percentage of each category were counted and the rates were calculated. The findings could be summarized as follows: 1. The illustration in the primary science textbooks was mostly composed of photographs (87.1%). 2. The examination of the role of illustrations showed that the presentation of data was 46.2%, the guidance for experimentation 38.4%, the results of experimentation 8.6% and the motive induction 6.8% respectively. 3. In the domains of physical and chemical science, the role of guidance for experimentation was emphasized. But the biological and earth science domains showed high tendency of the presentation of data.

A fully coupled finite element analysis (FEA) technique was developed for analyzing the discharge phenomena and dielectric liquid flow while considering surface charge density effects in dielectric flow guidance. In addition, the simulated speed of surface charge propagation was compared and verified with the experimental results shown in the literature. Recently, electrohydrodynamics (EHD) techniques have been widely applied to enhance the cooling performance of electromagnetic systems by utilizing gaseous or liquid media. The main advantage of EHD techniques is the non-contact and low-noise nature of smart control using an electric field. In some cases, flow can be achieved using only a main electric field source. The driving sources in EHD flow are ionization in the breakdown region and ionic dissociation in the sub-breakdown region. Dielectric guidance can be used to enhance the speed of discharge propagation and fluidic flow along the direction of the electric field. To analyze this EHD phenomenon, in this study, the fully coupled FEA was composed of Poisson's equation for an electric field, charge continuity equations in the form of the Nernst-Planck equation for ions, and the Navier-Stokes equation for an incompressible fluidic flow. To develop a generalized numerical technique for various EHD phenomena that considers fluidic flow effects including dielectric flow guidance, we examined the surface charge accumulation on a dielectric surface and ionization, dissociation, and recombination effects.

The purpose of this study was to analyze on child counseling service of child welfare policy in Korea. Child counseling services are the most primary services in child welfare. The services have a function of supporting and reinforcing children, so they can grow positively through a desirable relationship with their parents in their family. As child welfare facilities operated politically in Korea, we discussed in this study about the current status of public/private child counseling centers. Through such discussion, we analyzed the current child counseling works in Korea and suggested a future direction of such works. The main results obtained were as follows. First, There were 41 guidance centers for children in Korea, and public guidance centers were 6, and private 35. Second, There were much more guidance centers in Holt Children's Services than in any other centers. Third, In terms of the occurrence of the cases, common children were about 56%, and nonintervention of abuse children were about 13.7% of the total cases. In conclusion, political and systematic support on the establishment of professional public child counseling centers with specialized experts and facilities must be provided in order to activate universal child counseling services for both protection-needed and ordinary children. Furthermore, such political and systematic support must be provided to the establishment and fluent operation of private child counseling centers.

Since e-Book has various advantages of hyper-link, multimedia function, dual-direction, etc, users can access to the system easily by touch method. XML has been established as the document standard of e-Book. For XML has hyperlink, style function, and structure it is suitable for knowledge delivery and expression. In this paper, we developed the Seoul's 1000 years time-capsule cultural contents into e-Book forms that can guide tourists. We also implemented the time capsule guidance system based on the e-Book of the user center through the modification process of the generated XML code using the e-Book solution.

There are many ways to know the social and cultural level of each country. Among them, a theme museum are not only the best place to understand the history, the life style and the culture level. This thesis has the purpose to provide the basic material through analyzing the space composition and the visitor circulation of the theme museum and understanding the relativity of them so that the new theme museums can be designed in the right direction. So I chose the independence museum that opened with in recent 10 years, finally middle & small size's theme museum were selected. The results from the case study are as follow. Firstly, according to a result of analyzing the characteristics of space composition with the ratio of each part's area, space composition of each museum is mainly for the exhibition part, but rarely for the education part. Secondly, theme museums in Jeju have the limit of diversity of circulation method because they have not the free circulation method. Thirdly, the characteristics of space composition is divided into basic type, center-hall enter type, around the center-hall type and guidance type. Fourthly, by analyzing the characteristics of space composition and circulation method of traffic line, it's realized that selective circulation method was applied to basic type and center-hall enter type, and guidance circulation method was applied to around the center-hall type and guidance type.

We implementated an ultrasonic wave cane for the blind. The cane detect walking obstacle and provide a walking direction. The cane used time of flight method of ultrasonic-wave for a measurement of obstacle distance and fluxgate geomagnetic sensor for guidance of walking direction. This system can detect an obstacle of upward, forward, downward and that warn to the blind with vibration, pitch sound. And the blind can know walking direction to voice output. As a result, the blind could efficiently avoid a exposed obstacle, obstacles beyond knee, an exposed street obstacle, a branch of tree person's height and it is usable search for surrounding land mark.

The purpose of this study was to investigate the effects of the characteristics of maternal social networks on maternal expectation for their own children to examine the path that social networks had an effect on the self-esteem and the emotional intelligence of children through maternal expectation for their own children. The data used in this study were collected from 524 fourth to sixth graders and their mothers residing in Daejeon using structured questionnaire. The major findings of the study were as follows : (1) Among social network characteristics, proportion of friends and neighbors, proximity, direction and interference had a negative effect, and proportion of mothers of child's friends, frequency of contact, intimacy, emotional support, service support had a positive effect on maternal expectation for their own children. (2) Among social network characteristics, proportion of mothers of child's friends had a direct effect and proportion of friends, neighbors, and mothers of child's friends, proximity, frequency of contact, intimacy, direction, emotional support, service support, and interference had an indirect effect on children's emotional intelligence through maternal expectation for their own children. (3) Among social network characteristics, proportion of kin and mothers of child's friends, intimacy, service support, material support and interference had a direct effect, and proportion of neighbors and mothers of child's friends, proximity, frequency of contact, direction, service support had an indirect effect on children's emotional intelligence through maternal expectation for their own children.

In this paper, we propose a method how to determine the medical section select that get input the conditions of illness from a dialog-box using a fuzzy logic as a guidance system of the Cyber Hospital. It is to offer an output the most matched section for medical treatment using the Algebraic product fuzzy inference and Max inference after match the membership degree table of symptoms of received input from patient and their information. It will present of the direction for ignored patient which of a medical section select.

This paper designed LOCOMOTION SYSTEM of a mobile robot for the blind guidance and LOCOMOTION COMMAND SYSTEM that gave the moving path to the locomotion system. This system analyzed COMMAND and calculated the speed and direction of the robot. And during locomotion it measured wheel's rotation number for the position and speed control. Also, this system was considered about the 110 interface with host computer and the locomotion method for the blind. In the locomotion experiment the standard speed of robot was 0.4m/sec and the locomotion error was below 5%

In this study, career counseling collegiate career maturity differences before and after program implementation through proven collegiate career counseling program development and future of the University Career guidance and on the basis of the direction is set. Verification results first college career counseling program has not been applied to the experimental group than in the control group were improved career attitude maturity level.
