FB-ZVS 콘버터를 이용한 대용량.고주파 충전회로의 해석 및 설계 (Analysis and Design of High-Power, High-Frequency Charging Circuit using FB-ZVS Converter)

  • DC/DC converter is widely used in computer, electronic communication and industrial apparatus where the regulated dc supply is needed. FB-ZVS converter is suitable for high-power, high-frequency and constant frequency control. Because the voltage stress of the diode rectifier is high due to the ring effect, the clamp circuit is essential to reduce the voltage stress. The nondissipative active clamp circuit eliminates ring effect. Analysis of FB-ZVS converter and the validity of the active clamp circuit are studied through the simulation, and the experimental results show the superior characterics of the proposed system.

  • In this paper, characteristics of harmonic spectrum are studied for three phase PWM converter as the switching frequency variation and current control method changing. Especially, Differential Mode Noise which causes harmful effect on the other equipments is measured and compared with three phase diode rectifier.

  • Conventional Switched Mode Power Supplies(SMPS) with diode-capacitor rectifier have distorted input current waveform with high harmonic content. Typically, these SMPS have a power factor lower than 0,65. To improve with this problem the power factor correction(PFC) circuit of power supplies has to be introduced. Specially. to the reduce size and manufacture cost of power conversion device, the single-stage PFC converter is increased to demand as necessary of study. in this paper, The comparative analysis of power factor correction circuit using Feedforward control with average current mode flyback converter(single-stage) and boost converter(two-stage). Also, the validity of designed and manufactured high power factor flyback converter and boost converter is confirmed by simulation and experimental results.

  • In this paper, soft switching high power factor buck converter is proposed. This converter is composed of diode rectifier, a input capacitor can be small enough to filter input capacitor can be small enough to filter input current, buck converter with loss less snubber circuit. Converter is operated in discontinous conduction mode, turn of of the switching device is a zero current switching(ZCS) and high power factor input is obtained. In addition, zero voltage switching(ZVS) at turn of is achieved and switching loss is reduced using loss less snubber circuit. The capacitor used in the snubber circuit raised output voltage. Therefore, proposed converter has higher output voltage and higher efficiency than conventional buck type converter at same duty factor in discontious conduction mode operation.

  • A semiconductor switch-based fast hi-polar high voltage pulse generator is proposed in this paper The proposed pulse system is made of a thyristor based-rectifier, DC link capacitor, a push-pull resonant inverter, a high voltage transformer. secondary capacitor, a high voltage IGBT & diode stacks, and a variable capacitor. The proposed system makes hi-polar high voltage sinusoidal waveform using resonance between leakage inductance of the transformer and secondary capacitor and transfers energy to output load at maximum of the secondary capacitor voltage. Compared to previous hi-polar high voltage pulse power supply using nonlinear transmission line, the proposed pulse power system using only semiconductor switches has simple structure and gives high efficiency

  • 본 논문에서는 2대의 다이오드 정류기에 부스트 컨버터를 이용하여 전류의 파형을 능동적으로 만들어 정현파의 입력전류를 얻는 새로운 방식의 고조파 저감방식을 제안한다. 제안한 당식으로 역률 1의 전원 품질을 얻을 수 있으며 입력측의 변동에 대한 출력전압의 조정도 가능하다. 또한 저감된 용량을 갖는 3상 오토 트랜스포머의 사용으로 기존의 $\Delta$-Y 변압기에 비해 KVA정격이 80$\%$ 절감되며 상간변압기도 필요 없다. 본 방식을 소형화와 고품질의 전원이 요구되는 통신용 정류기등에 적용하면 효과적이다. 제안한 방식의 동작원리, 제어 및 설계방법을 기술하고 1.5KW급 시작품으로부터의 실험결과를 제시한다.

  • In this paper, prototype high-power-factor single-stage electronic ballast for fluorescent lamps is designed and implemented. A new low cost single stage high power factor electronic ballast for fluorescent lamps is based on integration of two-boost converter and LC type high frequency resonant converter. A ballast is obtained by simple construction, because full bridge rectifier diode is eliminated and simple control circuit is applied. Using two boost converter operating positive and negative half cycle respectively at line frequency (60Hz), operation in discontinuous conduction mode performs high power factor. The experimental results Show the good performance as PF 0.99, $A_{THD}$ 15.4%, and CF 1.65 at Output 63.5W.W.

  • Diode rectifier has been widely used as he preregulator of inverter arc welding machine(IAW). As it is linked to power utility a disorder of other instruments can be burst out. The adoption of voltage source PWM converters can be considered and which must catch the compromise of between performance and cost. So in this paper voltage source PWM converters which have single (i.e. PWM converter) control switch respectively are analyzed and evaluated through digital simulation and experiment. In addition the improved input characteristics of IAW are shown and compare to those of conventional one.

  • 최근 고품질 전원공급에 관한 요구가 증대되면서 장치에서 발생되는 고차 고조파에 의하여 다른 기기의 오동작을 방지하기 위한 EMI(Electro Magnetic Interferencfe)에 관한 연구가 전력전자분야를 중심으로 활발하게 진행되고 있다. 따라서 본 논문에서는 3상 전력변환 장치인 다이오드 정류기와 PWM 컨버터에서 PI 전류제어방식과 히스테리시스 전류제어방식을 대상으로 LISN(Line Impedance Stabilization Network)을 사용하여 제어방식의 변화와 스위칭 주파수 변동에 따른 전도성 EMI 방출량을 측정하여 비교하였다.

  • This paper proposes a nonlinear impedance circuit composed by diodes and inductors or capacitors. This circuit needs no control circuits and switches, and the impedance .value is changed by the polarity of current or voltage. and this paper presents one of these applications to improve the input current of capacitor input diode rectifiers. The rectifier using the nonlinear impedance circuit id constructed with four diodes and four capacitors in addition to the conventional rectifiers, that is, it has eight diodes and five capacitors, including a DC link capacitor. It makes harmonic components of the input current reduce and the power factor improve. A circuit design method is shown by experimentation and confirmed simulation. It explained that compared conventional pulse width modulated (PWM) inverter with half pulse-width modulated (HPWM) inverter. Proposed HPWM inverter eliminated dead-time by lowering switching loss and holding over-shooting.
