난성형부품의 성형공정개발을 위한 디지털트라이아웃 (Digital Tryout Technique for the Conventional Stamping Process of Hard-to-Form Parts)

  • A tryout is a series of process optimization for robust stamping before transfer to the press shop. During tryout, the drawbead control, blank shape determination, binder surface modification, etc., are carried out mainly by a trial-and-error approach. As the level of difficulty of the stamping process increases, the formability becomes more sensitive to the contour of deformed shape, i.e. the blank shape. A digital tryout technique, which simulates a real tryout process, is proposed in this study for challenging stamping processes. Since digital tryout is carried out on a desktop, not in a press shop, a precise control of the deformed contour can be achieved if an optimal blank design technique is utilized. In this work, the proposed digital tryout technique is validated by successful applications to different automotive parts.

Real-Time Digital Fuzzy Control Systems considering Computing Time-Delay

  • In this paper, the effect of computing time-delay in the real-time digital fuzzy control systems is investigated and the design methodology of a real-time digital fuzzy controller(DFC) to overcome the problems caused by it is presented. We propose the fuzzy feedback controller whose output is delayed with unit sampling period. The analysis and the design problem considering computing time-delay is very easy because the proposed controller is syncronized with the sampling time. The stabilization problem of the digital fuzzy control system is solved by the linear matrix inequality(LMI) theory. Convex optimization techniques are utilized to find the stable feedback gains and a common positive definite matrix P for the designed fuzzy control system Furthermore, we develop a real-time fuzzy control system for backing up a computer-simulated truck-trailer with the consideration of the computing time-delay. By using the proposed method, we design a DFC which guarantees the stability of the real time digital fuzzy control system in the presence of computing time-delay.

The Design of the IIR Differintegrator and its Application in Edge Detection

  • New IIR digital differintegrators (differentiator and integrator) with very minor absolute relative errors are presented in this paper. The digital integrator is designed by interpolating some of the existing integrators. The optimum value of the interpolation ratio is obtained through linear programming optimization. Subsequently, by modifying the transfer function of the proposed integrator appropriately, new digital differentiator is obtained. Simulation results demonstrate that the proposed differintegrator are a more accurate approximation of ideal ones, than the existing differintegrators. Furthermore, the proposed differentiator has been tested in an image processing application. Edges characterize boundaries and are, therefore, a problem of fundamental importance in image processing. For comparison purpose Prewitt, Sobel, Roberts, Canny, Laplacian of Gaussian (LOG), Zerocross operators were used and their results are displayed. The results of edge detection by some of the existing differentiators are also provided. The simulation results have shown the superiority of the proposed approach over existing ones.

A Study on the Effective Production of Game Weapons Using ZBrush

  • With the rapid adoption of 5G, the gaming industry has undergone significant innovation, with the quality of game content and player experience becoming the focal point of attention. ZBrush, as a professional digital sculpting software, plays a crucial role in the production of 3D game models. In this paper, we explore the application methods and techniques of ZBrush in game weapons production through specific case analyses. We provide a detailed analysis of two game weapon models, discussing the design and modeling process, lowto-high poly conversion, UV unwrapping and texture baking, material texture creation and optimization, and final rendering. By comparing the production process and analyzing the advantages and disadvantages of ZBrush, we establish a theoretical foundation for further design research and provide reference materials for game industry professionals, aiming to achieve higher quality and efficiency in 3D game model production.

  • 최근 가정용 에어컨은 냉방효율뿐 아니라 소음에 대한 중요성이 지속적으로 높아지고 있다. 로터리 압축기는 에어컨의 소음 중 매우 높은 영향도를 가지고 있으며, 압축기의 소음을 줄이기 위해 머플러 및 공명기에 관한 많은 연구들이 진행되어 왔다. 압축기의 부품 중 어큐뮬레이터는 큰 용적으로 인해 공명에 의한 추가 소음을 에어컨에 전달하는 소음 전달경로가 되며, 어큐뮬레이터의 내부구조는 소음저감을 위해 중요한 설계요소가 되나 지금까지는 연구결과가 미비한 수준이었다. 본 논문에서는 어큐뮬레이터의 소음 저감을 위해 목표주파수 대역에서의 투과손실이 최대가 되는 설계최적화를 수행하였다. 높은 비선형성을 가진 문제의 최적화를 위해 실험계획법과 반경기저신경망기법을 이용한 근사 모델을 사용하였으며, 유전알고리즘을 사용한 최적화를 수행하였다.

  • In manufacturing companies, different types of production have been developed based on diverse production strategies and differentiated technologies. The production systems have become smart, factories are filled with unmanned manufacturing lines, and sustainable manufacturing technologies are under development. Nowadays, the digital manufacturing technology is being adopted and used in manufacturing industries. When this technology is applied, a lot of efforts, time and cost are required and training professionals in-house is limited. In this paper, we introduce e-FEED system (electronic based Front End Engineering and Design) that is the integrated design and analysis system for optimized manufacturing line development on virtual environment. This system provides the functions that can be designed easily using library and template based on standardized modules and analyzed automatically the logistic and capacity simulation by one-click and verified the result using visual reports. Also, we can review the factory layout using automatically created 3D virtual factory and increase the knowledge reuse by e-FEED system.

Mock-up 부재제작을 통한 비정형 건축 외장부재의 제작 문제점 분석 및 개선방안에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Problem Analysis and Quality Improvement in Fabricating Free-Form Buildings Facade Panels through Mock-up Panels Production)

  • 비정형 건축물은 건축가의 디자인 의도를 반영한 다양한 형태의 외장 디자인을 포함한다. 이러한 비정형 형태의 외장부재는 NURBS (Non-Uniform Rational B-Spline) 라 불리는 이 방향 곡률로 구성된 불규칙한 자유곡선면을 포함하고 있어 실제 외장부재의 생산 및 시공을 위해서는 3차원 비정형 BIM 기술을 적용한 패널최적화 단계를 거쳐야 한다. 본 연구에서는 역공학(Reverse Engineering) 기법을 근간으로 사례연구를 통해 비정형 건축물 BIM 도구인 디지털 프로젝트를 활용하여 패널형태를 구축하고 패널 최적화 결과를 도출한다. 최적화 결과 도출된 비정형 패널부재의 곡률 형상에 따른 Mock-Up 패널제작을 통해 패널종류에 따른 제작 용이성을 테스트하고 레이저 스케닝 기술을 사용하여 설계한 패널과 생산된 패널과의 데이터를 비교함으로써 이방향 곡률 곡면부재의 제작정밀도를 분석한다. Mock-Up 부재 제작 시 전문가 인터뷰를 통하여 국내에서 수행되고 있는 현행 비정형 외장부재 생산방식의 문제점을 도출하고 개선방안을 제시한다.

  • 본 논문에서는 고성능 범용 DSP (Digital Signal Processor)를 이용하여 멀티미디어 통신 등에 널리 사용되고 있는 G.723.1 Annex A (G.723.1A)의 다채널 구현에 관해 기술한다. 다채널 구현을 위해서 G.723.1의 알고리듬과 ITU-T(International Telecommunication Union-Telecommunication)에서 제공된 정수 연산 C 코드의 모듈별 계산량을 분석한 후, 이를 기준으로 C코드를 최적화한다. 각 모듈의 최적화 과정은 ITU-T에서 제공되는 시험벡터를 이용한 검증과 병행한다. 최적화 된 코드의 성능을 측정한 결과, 200㎒ TMS320C62x에서 내부 메모리만을 사용하여 5.3/6.3 kbps 두 가지 전송률에 대해서 부호화기와 복화화기를 동시에 17 채널을 수용하였다. 또한 비트-호환 버전의 경우에는 고속 코드북 검색 알고리듬을 도입하여 음질을 유지하면서 22 채널을 수용하였다.

  • A imput buffer typed ATM switch and an appropriate cell-scheduling algorithm are necessary for avoiding output blocking and internal blocking respectively. The algorithm determining a set of non-blocking data cells from the queues can greatly affect on the switch's throughput as well as the behavior of the queues. In this paper bit pattern optimization combined with the Token method in presented in order to improve the performance of ATM switch.
