  • 차세대 인터넷 서버는 인터넷을 통하여 여러 사용자에게 HDTV 급 고품질 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하고자 개발된 시스템이며, 이를 위하여 디스크 연결 및 네트워크 기능을 정합 시킨 특화된 NS 카드를 개발하였다. Contents Container 파일 시스템은 NS 카드 전용으로 개발된 멀티미디어 파일 시스템이며, 본 논문에서는 Contents Container 파일 시스템에 대한 개발 내용을 기술하고, 개발 시스템의 장단점을 파악하고자 EXT3 파일 시스템과 비교 분석하였다.

  • KT 메가패스를 기반으로 하는 홈엔(HomeN) 미디어 서비스가 신규 서비스 추가 및 UI개선으로 새롭게 개발되었다. 홈엔의 신규 서비스중에 하나인 교육/문화 전문채널 서비스는 고객에게 TV기반의 EOD 온라인서비스를 제공함으로써 편리한 학습환경을 제공하고 홈네트워크 서비스의 활용도 향상에 기여할 수 있을 것이다. 따라서 본고에서는 교육/문화 전문채널 서비스의 유형 및 서비스 정책, 서비스 플랫폼 구성을 소개하고 향후 홈엔 전문채널 서비스의 나아가야할 방향을 조망해보고자 한다.

  • This study proposes the method seeking out the user needs for the home automation systems which are one of the compositions of digital home. The findings are as follows. (1) The designing of digital home should be based on the residents' daily life and the their needs for the future house prior to the digital technology, (2) The IT Apartments recently developed in Busan set up the safety and security system and the automatic ventilation system mostly. (3) The residents are more concerned of the safety and security and the comfortable interior environment than convenience and entertainments. (4) The residents have diverse needs for the home automation systems according to their age, residential experience and occupation.

  • 최근 들어 인터넷, 인트라넷을 통해 양질의 동영상 데이터를 네트워크 상으로 실시간 또는 사용자의 요구에 따라 전승해 주는 스트리밍 서비스에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 아울러, 유비쿼터스 환경의 도래와 함께 센싱을 통한 다양한 멀티미디어 서비스의 확장이 이루어지고 있으며, 유/무선 환경에서 사용자의 콘텐트에 대한 요구를 끊김 없이/연속 이동을 통해 볼 수 있는 사용자 맞춤형 서비스가 필요로 되고 있다. 이에 본 논문에서는 센서기기를 연동해서 사용자를 인식하고 양질의 동영상을 사용자의 요구 시점에 이동성을 보장하면서 사용자의 다양한 단말 조건을 인식하여 멀티미디어 서비스를 제공하는 내용을 담고 있다.

  • Network industry is complex combined with various fields of industry, such as communication, broadcast, construction, and home appliances. Moreover, it's fairly lucrative since the growth industry makes lots of added values, interacting with the others. The network industry, usually called 'Ubiquitous', connects some home appliances and makes an integrated system that you can use them with whenever and wherever. A demand for network security, however, has skyrocketed due to the relatively low safety. It's been expected that the market of home security is going to be grown up nearly 30 percent every year. Recently, analog surveilance cameras have been replaced with digital ones, and they will be providing stronger security services taking advantage of mutual interaction with related industies. In this paper, a mobile monitoring system for home security is proposed, which makes it possible to supervise all home appliances wherever you're, using the conventional wired/wireless network infra.

  • On-going convergence between broadcasting and communication is currently bringing in lots of drastic changes to multimedia services to the home. The FTTH-based home networks will be the interface among the digital home appliances for broadcast digital contents as weil as for broadband data connection. In this paper, we discuss several design issues for home gateway architecture that effectively distributes realtime broadcasting contents (from either the headend in the access network or the satellite/terrestrial broadcasts) to heterogeneous devices in the home network.

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the customer demand for design development of digital convergence furniture in the living space of the ubiquitous home. This study used the individual survey method and was collected from July 1 to 20, 2008. The frequency and percentage were used for data analysis by SPSS window's 12. The results of the study were as follows: The first, a lot of survey targets were 30-40 years old, university graduates, over 50,000,000 won in annual income and 30-40 pyung in house size. The second, what types of activity were carried out in the living room were acquisition of knowledge>entertainment activity>communication activity>household chores. The third, what types of furniture were used in the living room were A/V furniture>table>sofa>computer table>bookself. The forth, customers preferred to picture telephone service in sociality, home-theater service in entertainment and home appliances remote control service in information service. The fifth, the digital functions which can integrate with the living roon furniture, in the item for A/V furniture, was front door control function which recognizes visitors with the screen. In the item for table was function to search internet and for sofa was self purification function. Finally, the digital convergence furniture is not only for one activity but also for various types of activities that can comprehensively function to materialize the concept of comfortable furniture in the living space.

  • It is necessary to have enough transmission capacity for advanced internet techniques and various digital home appliances networking. Home appliances interface IEEE1394 technique has much wealthy transmission skill. IEEE1394 is using home appliances through various information form image and voice change data real time print out. In this paper, AVC CTS technology and IEEE1394 technology are introduced. Digital Video Camera includes compression format using DV. System composition control is consisted of protocols like IEC-61883 and AV/C command set standard.

Development of Middle School Home Economics Teaching-Learning Plans for Digital Literacy Cultivation: Focusing on the 'Prevention of Sexual Violence' (디지털 리터러시 함양을 위한 중학교 가정과 '성폭력 예방' 교수-학습과정안 개발)

  • The aim of this study was to develop a comprehensive home economics teaching-learning plan, following the stages of analysis, design, development, and evaluation. The focus was on the 2015 revised home economics curriculum, specifically the 'prevention of sexual violence,' to enhance students' digital literacy competencies. In the analysis stage, the necessity of developing digital literacy competencies was confirmed by analyzing the 2022 revised national curriculum. Extracting elements from the 2015 revised home economics curriculum and textbooks, a digital tool utilization plan was designed in the subsequent design stage, aligning with learning goals, content composition, and digital literacy competency for each class. The development stage involved creating teaching-learning materials and digital tools for six sessions, centered around the topic of 'prevention of sexual violence.' In the evaluation stage, six content experts assessed the teaching-learning plans using a 5-point Likert scale and open-ended questions. The validity evaluation confirmed the effectiveness of the teaching-learning plans in improving middle school students' digital literacy competencies. Based on feedback from the experts, the plans for the six sessions were revised, with an additional session added, resulting in a total of seven sessions. It is envisioned that the home economics teaching and learning plans developed in this study can be implemented in home economics classes to foster students' digital literacy capabilities.

  • In this paper, we design and implement the UHSNS-DRM(Ubi-Home Smart Multimedia Streaming-Digital Right Management) in Ubi-Home. The proposed system support flexible distribution platform for digital content copyright protection and management in Ubi-Home. This system also can provide multimedia streaming service to authorized users who are using PC, STB, PDA, and Portable Device, etc. Furthermore, we adopt concept of domain authentication and it help to improve the efficiency of license management for all devices in Ubi-Home. We design user's location recognition algorithm in order to provide intelligent services. Of course, this algorithm is applied for the proposed system. Start after striking space key 2 times.
