  • Information on the energy consumption of buildings that can be obtained through conventional methods is limited. Therefore, this study aims to develop a model that can support decision making about building facility management through digital transformation technologies. Through the IoT sensor, the building's energy data and indoor air quality data are collected, and the monitored data is visualized through the ELK Stack and produced as a dashboard. In addition, the target building is photographed with a 360-degree camera and maps using a tool to create a 360-degree tour. Using such digital transformation technologies, users of buildings can obtain various information in real time without visiting buildings directly. This can lead to changes in actions or actions for building management, supporting facility management decisions, and consequently reducing building energy consumption.

  • This paper reports on a single-inductor multiple-output step-up converter with digital control. A systematic analog-to-digital-controller design is explained. The number of digital blocks in the feedback path of the proposed converter has been decreased. The simpler digital pulse-width modulation (DPWM) architecture is then utilized to reduce the power consumption. This architecture has several advantages because counters and a complex digital design are not required. An initially designed unit-delay cell is adopted recursively for the construction of coarse, intermediate, and fine delay blocks. A digital limiter is then designed to allow only useful code for the DPWM. The input voltage is 1.8 V, whereas output voltages are 2 V and 2.2 V. A co-simulation was also conducted utilizing PowerSim and Matlab/Simulink, whereby the 55 nm process was employed in the experimental results to evaluate the performance of the architecture.

  • As the innovative internet technologies and multimedia are being rapidly developed, digital content is a remarkable new growth industry and supplied by various channel. For example, domestic sales volume in digital contents marked an annual increase of 14.7% since 2003. Against the merits of digital content distribution, Information reengineering aspects are getting more serious issues in these days such as infringement of copyright, flood of inappropriate content, invasion and infringement of privacy, etc. In this paper, we are making a suggestion of the TDCDA-Trusted Digital Content Distribution Architecture in order to solve above problems. TDCDA is provided to how well-define and design the trusted path in digital contents distribution in internet environments using a secure distribution mechanism, digital content integrity and copyright protection. Finally, we also proposed the TDCDA algorithm and applicable guidelines for feasible approach in real computing environment.

  • Currently the locations of Unpleasant Facilities, especially surrounding the site selections, have been causing conflicts among the national government, many local governments and local residents. These Unpleasant Facilities must be necessary facilities for people's modern cultural lives, but there is no obvious solution that will make us all pleasant for the locations of them until now. In this study, we'll focused on applying the Floating architecture, one of the variety of marine structures, as an alternative location of Public service facilities accommodating Unpleasant Facilities which are classified as public service facilities. Of course, there should be beforehand studies in which we can define Unpleasant Facilities and analyse the conflicts surrounding the locations of them, and we can suggest that applying the Floating architecture should be the very solution to solve all these problems together. And as our main study, we should research and develop the structure and construction, maintenance and management of the Floating architecture which will be applied to the Unpleasant Facilities, together with the environmental considerations of their emergence on the waters. In future, to secure Unpleasant Facilities sites will become more and more difficult, and so Various kinds of public service facilities will have to be the subject to the floating construction.

  • This study examines the impact of the Internet on the organizational innovation. With the introduction of digital technology, the entire organizational process and structure is now being restructured. The purpose of this study is to develop a framework to help classify the organizational innovations and understand organizational innovation processes. This study suggests that the wide diffusion of digital technology has affected the modularization of the organizational routines and processes. The modularization of knowledge and organization give rise to a new organizational architecture, a modular architecture. In the Fordist regime, the characteristics of organizations were depicted as vertically integrated and tightly coupled system. The organizational processes and routines were tightly linked and integrated. However, the diffusion of Internet, which has a tendency to disassemble this tightly coupled system, has resulted in the emergence of loosely coupled and vertically disintegrated system. Eventually the modular architectures are emerging as a new organizational paradigm in the post-Fordist regime. In this study, the modes of organizational innovation is classified as follows. If the organizational innovation enhances both existing organizational components and tile tightly coupled architecture, it is incremental innovation (Mode 1): if it destroys both existing components and the tightly coupled architecture, it is radical innovation (Mode 4): however if only the tightly coupled architecture is transformed into the modular architecture and the codification of organizational component is enhanced, the innovation is architectural (Mode 3). The last one is component innovation (Mode 2), in which existing organizational components are destroyed but tightly coupled architecture is enhanced. It is argued that the organizational innovation process follows Mode I$\longrightarrow$ Mode II $\longrightarrow$ Mode III $\longrightarrow$ Mode IV in order.

  • The throughput requirement for many digital signal processing is such that multiple processing units are essential for real-time implementation. Advances in VLSI technology make it feasible to design and implement computer systems consisting of a large number of function units. The research on a very high throughput VLSI architecture for digital signal processing applications requires the development of an algorithm, decomposition scheme which can minimize data communication requirements as well as minimize computational complexity. The objectives of the research are to investigate computationally efficient algorithms for solution of the class of problems which can be modeled as DLSI systems or adaptive system, and develop VLSI architectures and associated multiprocessor systems which can be used to implement these algorithms in real-time. A new VLSI architecture for real-time 2-D digital signal processing applications is proposed in this research. This VLSI architecture extends the concept of having a single processing units in a chip. Because this VLSI architecture has the advantage that the complexity and the number of computations per input does not increase as the size of the input data in increased, it can process very large 2-D date in near real-time.

  • In this paper, we have presented the improved IF transceiver architecture and the implementation and experimental results on re-configurable transceiver based on digital IF for multiple wideband OFDM/TDD base stations for high-speed portable internet-service in which is issued Korea. The implemented IF transceiver has been designed to support multiple frequency allocations and multiple standards by only modifying the programmable software not its hardware like as the software-defined-radio concept. Also, the digital complex quadrature modulation technique has been used for the digital IF transmitter, which is able to combine multiple frequency bands in digital processing block not RF block and to reject the image frequency signals. And the bandpass sampling technique has been used for the digital IF receiver to reduce the sampling rate of ADC. This paper has shown the experiment results on the frequency response and constellation on the base-station implemented using the modified IEEE 802.16a/e physical layer channel structure based on OFDM/TDD.

  • In this paper, we proposed a hardware architecture to generate digital holograms at high speed. It used the modified computer-generated hologram (CGH) algorithm and adapted the pipeline-based hardware to be able to remove memory bottleneck problem. It uses not the method which generates a hologram by accumulating intermittent holograms but the one which independently generates a pixel of a final hologram and uses the appropriate CGH algorithm for the selected method. Based on the CGH algorithm we proposed the architecture of the digital hologram generator which consists of input interface part, calculating part, and normalizing part. The hardware can decrease memory usage because it repeatedly use object light sources which is stored in the internal buffer. It is also operationally parallelized by vertically adding unit cells. It can generate 86 frames of HD digital hologram per 1 second for 1K light sources.
