Mechanism of lignin biodegradation caused by basidiomycetes and the history of lignin biodegradation studies were briefly reviewed. The important roles of fungal extracellular ligninolytic enzymes such as lignin and manganese peroxidases (LiP and MnP) were also summarized. These enzymes were unique in their catalytic mechanisms and substrate specificities. Either LiP or MnP system is capable of oxidizing a variety of aromatic substrates via a one-electron oxidation. Extracellular fungal system for aromatic degradation is non-specific, which recently attracts many people working a bioremediation field. On the other hand, an intracellular degradation system for aromatic compounds is rather specific in the fungal cell. Structurally similar compounds were prepared and metabolized, indicating that an intracellular degradation strategy consisted of the cellular systems for substrate recognition and metabolic response. It was assumed that lignin-degrading fungi might be needed to develop multiple metabolic pathways for a variety of aromatic compounds caused by the action of non-specific ligninolytic enzymes on lignin. Our recent results on chemical stress responsible factors analyzed using mRNA differential display techniques were also mentioned.

1) 수도 도열병에 저항성이었던 관옥 품종이 1969년에 와서 저항성이 역전된 원인을 분석하였다. 2) 경기도지방 16개 지역의 이병된 관옥품종에서 분리한 균주는 15개의 C계통 레이스와 1개의 N계통 레이스로 판정되었다. C계통 레이스 중에는 C-8이 9균주, C-7과 C-1이 각각 2균주, 그 나머지는 C-1과 유사한 것이 1균주이고 C-5와 유사한 것이 1균주였다. 3) 도열병에 대하여 고도로 저항성이었던 관옥품종은 중국계통의 벼를 침해 한 수 있는 C레이스의 만연에 기인되었다고 결론지을 수 있다.

The phase II detoxifying enzymes are inducible by a variety of compounds and play an essential role for the protection of cells. Many of chemoprotective agents trigger cellular signals for the phase II enzyme induction, which subsequently activate gene transcription through ARE activation.(omitted)

We construct some infinite series of free and nearly free curves using pencils of conics with a base locus of cardinality at most two. These curves have an interesting topology, e.g. a high degree Alexander polynomial that can be explicitly determined, a Milnor fiber homotopy equivalent to a bouquet of circles, or an irreducible translated component in the characteristic variety of their complement. Monodromy eigenspaces in the first cohomology group of the corresponding Milnor fibers are also described in terms of explicit differential forms.

Sleepiness, or hypersomnia, is a relatively common complaint and one of the main problems of modern society. Accurate evaluation and diagnosis of sleepiness are important. The methods used for evaluating sleepiness are subjective measures or self-evaluations, performance decrease measures, sleep propensity measures, and arousal decrease measures. A clear and detailed history is important in differential diagnosis of sleepiness because symptoms of sleepiness may be expressed in terms of 'tiredness' or 'fatigue' that do not directly denote sleepiness. Comprehensive diagnostic evaluation is also invaluable because these symptoms may result from a variety of causes ranging from medical disorders to insufficient nocturnal sleep.

Paroxysmal nonepileptic events (PNE) comprise of a variety of nonepileptic behaviors and are divided into various types. A more accurate diagnosis is possible by examining the video clip provided by the caregiver. In infants, physiologic PNE accounts for the majority of the PNE. It is important to exclude epilepsy, for which blood tests, electroencephalography, and imaging tests can facilitate differential diagnosis. Since most PNE have a benign progress, symptoms often improve with age and without special treatment. Therefore, it is important to reassure the caregivers after making an accurate diagnosis.

In this study, the author provided a discussion on one dimensional Laplace and Fourier transforms with their applications. It is shown that the combined use of exponential operators and integral transforms provides a powerful tool to solve space fractional partial differential equation with non - constant coefficients. The object of the present article is to extend the application of the joint Fourier - Laplace transform to derive an analytical solution for a variety of time fractional non - homogeneous KdV. Numerous exercises and examples presented throughout the paper.

블록 암호 PP-1은 다양한 길이의 데이터 블록과 비밀키를 지원하는 SPN구조의 블록 암호이다. 또한, 암호화 과정과 복호화 과정이 동일하도록 설계되어 하드웨어에서 효율적으로 구현 가능하며 오류 탐지 기법을 적용하기에 유리하다. 본 논문에서는 PP-1/64-128에 대한 부정 차분 공격을 소개한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 공격은 $2^{50.16}$의 선택 평문과 $2^{46.16}$ 바이트 메모리를 이용하여 $2^{50.45}$의 PP-1/64-128의 암호화 연산을 통해 비밀키를 복구한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 PP-1/64-128에 대한 공격 결과는 현재까지 알려진 공격 결과 중 가장 좋은 결과이다.

선발에 의하여 얻은 벼 흰빛잎마름병균 Xanthomonas oryzae의 Streptomycin 내성균에 대하여 병원성, 배지내에서의 생장량 및 자외선 감수성에 대한 변이성을 조사하여 다음과 같은 결과를 얻었다. (1) SM 내성균은 Wase-Aikoku-3, Rant Emas-2 황옥 및 Kimmase의 4개 판별품종에 대한 병원성 비교에서 75-6의 내성균주가 황옥에 대하여 감수성 반응이 모균과 달리 중정도의 저항성을 나타내었다. 2) SM-내성균은 정상배지에서 모균보다 약간 높은 생장량을 보였고 100ug/ml Agrepto 첨가 배지에서는 접종후 60시간까지 생장이 조지되었으나 70시간 이후에는 모균의 생장량을 능가하였다. (3) SM-내성균은 254mu 파장의 자외선 조사에서 모균과 동일한 감수성을 나타내어 내성인자는 안정된 것으로 생각되었다.
