The paper proposes an implementation architecture of DiffServ-over-MPLS traffic engineering (TE) on Intel IXP2400 network processor using Intel IXA SDK 4.0 Framework. Program architecture and functions are described. Also fast and scalable range-match classification scheme is proposed for DiffServ-over-MPLS TE that has been integrated with functional blocks from Intel Microblocks library. Performance test shows that application can process packets at approximate data rate of 3.5 Gbps. The proposed implementation architecture of DiffServ-over-MPLS TE on Network processor can provide guaranteed QoS on high-speed next generation Internet, while being flexible and easily modifiable.
Recently there are increasing needs for Internet and various kinds of contents. These traffics for various contents need more amount of data to provide high-quality information and require various QoS depending on the characteristics of contents. However, current Internet service supports BE (Best Effort) service only, therefore IntServ (Integrated Service) scheme and DiffSserv (Differentiated Service) scheme are represented to support QoS in IP layer. This paper describes new scheme that provides QoS taking into account the traffic characteristics over Mobile IPv6 network based on IEEE 802.11e by decreasing signal process time using traffic class of DiffServ and evaluates the performance through computer simulation.

PQ(Priority Queue) and WRR(Weighted Round Robin) are the most famous schedulers, however, these schedulers have both points of advantages and disadvantages. In this paper, we propose an algorithm that can be adopted in my kind of scheduling type with making up for weak points of PQ and WRR. The proposed algorithm includes a fuzzy theory in the scheduler to assign priorities dynamically in the DiffServ network. This algorithm produces the control discipline by the fuzzy theory to assign priorities of the Queue effectively with checking the Queue status of each class dynamically under the discipline.
Diff-Serv is a mechanism by which network service providers can offer differing levels of network service to different traffic, in so providing quality of service (QoS) to their customers. Because this mechanism has been deployed just for fixed hosts with the Token Bucket mechanism, DiffServ have been suggested can not satisfy the mobility service or the differential serrlce for Individual traffics. In this paper, we suggest WFQ mechanism for traffic conditioner and scheduling method for monitoring the AggF(Aggregate Flow) which will be controlled in edge nodes and border routers. So it will control traffic rate dynamically and suggest efficient usability of bandwidth.
Application of a commercial Diff-Quick kit for fish hematology was evaluated. Diff-Quick stain was incomplete in staining not only the nucleus and cytoplasm but also granules of leucocytes that were stained in soluton I and II for five seconds. However, when the staining time changed to 5 seconds in solution I and 10 seconds in solution II, followed by washing with deionized distilled water, the kit showed the similar results as in May-Grunwald Giemsa stain. The results indicate that the kit can be used in fish hematology for rapid staining.
IETF has proposed integrated services model(Int-Serv) and differentiated service(Diff-Serv) to supply IP QoS in Internet[1][2]. Int-Serv model uses state information of each IP flow, so satisfies QoS according to traffic characteristics, but increases the amount of flow state information with increasing flow number. Diff-Serv uses PHP(Per Hop Behaviour) and there are well-defined classes to provide differentiated traffics with different services according to delay and loss sensitivity. Diff-Serv model can provide diverse services in Internet because of having no the state and signal information of each flow. As MPLS uses the packet forwarding technology based on label, it implements the forwarding engine of high performance easily. The MPLS can set up the path having different and variable bandwidth and assign each path to particular CoS (Class of Service). Therefore it is possible to support the Diff-Serv model of well- defined classes that can provide the differentiated traffic with different services according to delay and loss sensitivity in IP QoS models of IETF. In this paper we propose a scheme that can accommodate Diff-Serv model to provide QoS. The system performance has been estimated by scheduling plan according to traffic classes.
In this paper, a motion image is detected based on the irregularity of lights. This motion image is extracted by modifying the reflected light region of the 3 way-diff algorithms. 3 way-diff algorithm extracts reflected light region using the 3-successive image. In this algorithm, The reflected light region is a region generated by light in the image production process and is finally created around all objects. The algorithm shows a process to extracting the region. This process is a simple operation, but doesn't have a defined formula for light. This paper judges that the reflected light region is a kind of noise at the 3 way-diff algorithms and defines the formula for extracting the reflected light region. It shows that compared with the proposed algorithm and existing algorithm through experiment.

Differentiated services (DiffServ) model has been prevailed as a scalable approach to provide quality of service in the Internet. However, there are difficulties in providing the guaranteed service in terms of end-to-end systems since differentiated services network considers quality of service of aggregated traffic due to the scalability and many researches have been mainly focused on per hop behavior or a single domain behavior. Furthermore quality of service may be time varying according to the network conditions. In this paper, we study dynamic class mapping mechanism to guarantee the end-to-end quality of service for multimedia traffics with the minimum network cost over differentiated services network. The proposed algorithm consists of an effective implementation of relative differentiated service model, quality of service advertising mechanism and dynamic class mapping mechanism. Finally, the experimental results are provided to show the performance of the proposed algorithm.

We investigate the end-to-end delay bounds in large scale networks with Differentiated services (DiffServ) architecture. It is generally understood that networks with DiffServ architectures, where packets are treated according to the class they belong, can guarantee the end-to-end delay for packets of the highest priority class, only in lightly utilized cases. We focus on tree networks, which are defined to be acyclic connected graphs. We obtain a closed formula for delay bounds for such networks. We show that, in tree networks, the delay bounds exist regardless of the level of network utilization. These bounds are quadratically proportional to the maximum hop counts in heavily utilized networks; and are linearly proportional to the maximum hop counts in lightly utilized networks. Considering that tree networks, especially the Ethernet networks are being accepted more and more for access networks as well as provider networks, we argue that based on these delay bounds DiffServ architecture is able to support real time applications even for a large network. Throughout the paper we use Latency-Rate (LR) server model, with which it has proven that FIFO and Strict Priority are LR servers to each flows in certain conditions.

In this paper, we have proposed a novel re-marking strategy at tbe ingressive edge router to improve TCP fairness of DiffServ Assured Services. Our re-marking strategy introduces a configuration method of the Temporary Permitted Rate (TPR). By using this new configuration method of TPR, IN packets of greedy TCP flows are re-marked to OUT packets pertinently and constantly whenever the network traffic changes. Simulation Results show that this novel re-marking strategy can regulate the packet transmission rate of each TCP flow to the contract rate without a decrease in the link utilization.
