Ihe Electrical and Piezoelectric Characteristics of PZT-PSN ceramics added $MnO_2$ ($MnO_2$가 첨가된 PZT-PSN압전세라믹의 압전 및 전기적특성 분석)

  • In this paper, we investigated the dielectric and piezoelectric properties of Pb(Sb, Nb)O$_3$-Pb(Zr, Ti)O$_3$ ceramic(PSN) for piezoelectric transformer and actuator etc. Effect of MnO$_2$ addition on the PSN ceramic was investigated. Anisotropic properties of electromechanical coupling factor and piezoelectric properties proved to be varied with amount of MnO$_2$ impurity and sintering temperature. The electromechanical coupling factor k$_{p}$ of 0.38 and the mechanical quality factor Q$_{m}$ of 1944 were obtained from the specimen with 0.4 wt% MnO$_2$ sintered at 115$0^{\circ}C$ addition. Experimental results indicated that the PSN ceramic with MnO$_2$ impurity can be effectively used for piezoelectric transformer and actuator.tor.

  • We have studied the effect of sintering conditions on the long-range order parameter of the 1 : 2 cation ordering in Ba(Mg/sub 1/3/Nb/sub 2/3/)O₃microwave dielectrics prepared through a columbite precursor method. It is found that the order parameter depends strongly on the sintering conditions. As the heat-treatment time increases at 1350℃, the long-range order parameter decreases. When sintered at 1500℃ for 4 hours, BMN shows a high long-range order parameter of 0.94.

  • The sintering behavior of $BaO-B_{2}O_{3}-ZnO$, which is Pb-free glass-ceramic system, was examined as functions of the composition and the amount and particle size of $Al_{2}O_{3}$ filler. Different kinds of modifiers were added and $Al_{2}O_{3}$ fillers with different particle sizes ($1.5{\mu}m$ and $4.5{\mu}m$) were added. The glass frit-filler composites were sintered in the temperature range $520{\sim}580^{\circ}C$. X-ray diffraction results revealed that some of the composites crystallized during sintering. Dielectric constant and thermal expansion coefficient the glass-ceramics were analyzed.

  • (1-x-y)Pb($Zn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-Ba(Zn_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-PbTiO_3(0.12{\leq}x{\leq}0.21, 0.24{\leq}y{\leq}0.33$) ternary compound ceramics were fabricated by the mixed oxide method. The sintering temperature and time were 1050 [$^{\circ}C$], 2[hr]. Morphotropic phase boundary region was chosen for the composition. 0.55 PZN-0.21 BZN-0.24 PT specimen had the highest value of relative dielectric constants, 5353. The curie temperature of specimens were increased linearly with PT content. Near the morphotropic phase boundary, electro-mechanical coupoling factor and mechanical quality factor of the specimens had the highest values.

  • For nonconducting perovskite titanates ATiO3 and A'1/2A"1/2TiO3, 5 ferroelectric members were discriminated from 17 quantum paraelectric members via average mass of A ions m(A): ferroelectric for m(A)〉110 a.u. and quantum paraelectric for m(A)<100 a.u. An intuitive explanation of the origin of the discrimination is given concenrned with the ferroelectric soft modes in perovskite ATiO3. Based on the above discrimination, trial synthesis of ferroelectric candiate substances are presented.

  • Ultrafine lead magnesium niobate $Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3}) O_3$ (PMN) powders have been successfully prepared via a micro-emulsion processing technique. By stepwise hydrolysis using aqueous as the precipitant, hydroxide precursor was obtained from nitrate solutions dispersed in the nanosized aqueous domains of a microemulsion consisting of cyclohexane, non-ionic surfactant (NP5+NP9) and an aueous phase. Upon calcination of the microemulsion-derived precursor at $800^{\circ}C$, PMN powders with 100% perovskite phase was obtained.

  • 소결온도 및 소결시간의 변화가 ZST세라믹의 유전상수 $\varepsilon_{\tau}$, 품질계수 $Q{\cdot}f$ 및 공진주파수의 온도계수 $\tau_f$에 미치는 영향에 대하여 연구하였다. 소결온도를 $1420^{\circ}C$까지 올렸을 때 공진기 섭동방법으로 1.6GHz에서 측정한 품질계수 Q가 가장 높았으나, 소결밀도 및 유전상수는 오히려 감소하였다. 소결시간의 증가에 따른 품질계수 Q는 $1300^{\circ}C{\sim}1380^{\circ}C$ 온도 범위에서는 소폭 상승하였으며, 소결밀도 및 유전상수는 거의 일정하였다. 공진주파수의 온도계수 $\tau_f$는 소결온도 및 소결시간의 변화에는 거의 의존하지 않았다.

  • In this study, the acoustic transducer of a thin circular disc-type with PZT/Metal was manufactured. The piezoelectric transducer with 200kHz resonance frequency was designed by considering the sharp directivity and the sound pressure. The dielectric and piezoelectric properties of 0.5 weight percent $MnO_2$ and NiO doped $0.1Pb(Mg_{1/3}Nb_{2/3})O_3-0.45PbTiO_3-0.42PbZrO_3$ ceramics were investigated aiming at acoustic transducer applications. Also, the acoustic characteristics of a thin circular disc-type with metal-piezoceramics have been Investigated.

  • BaTiO3 의 B-site에 0-0.03 몰 범위의 NiO를 첨가한 Ba1-xSrxTi1-y-wNiyZrwO3-y 유전 체에서 NiO 첨가가 유전특성 및 절연저항의 내환원성에 미치는 영향을 조사하였다. B-site Ni 치환에 의해 a 축의 격자상수는 증가하고 c 축의 격자상수는 감소하여 정방성 c/a가 감 소하였으며 단위격자의 부피는 증가하였다. NiO 첨가에 따라 큐리온도는 저온으로 이동하 였으며 큐리온도의 변화율은 소결분위기에 영향을 받았다. NiO가 첨가되지 않은 조성에서 는 산소분압 109 MPa의 환원분위기 소성에 의해 비정항이 107$\Omega$.cm로 저하되었으나 0.01 몰이상의 NiO를 첨가한 조성에서는 공기중 소결시 얻을수 있었던 1011$\Omega$.cm로 저하되었으 나 0.01 몰 이상의 NiO를 첨가한 조성에서는 공기중 소결시 얻을 수 있었던 1011$\Omega$.cm 이 상의 비저항을 유지하였다.

Microwave Dielectric Properties of Donor doped Zr0.8Sn0.2TiO4 Ceramics (Donor Dopant 첨가 Zr0.8Sn0.2TiO4 세라믹스의 마이크로파 유전특성)

  • Donor dopant로 WO3, Ta2O5 및 Nb2O5를 첨가한 Zr0.8Sn0.2TiO4 세라믹스의 유전상수 $\varepsilon$r 품 질계수 Q 및 공진주파수의 온도계수 rf에 대하여 연구하였다. 139$0^{\circ}C$에서 32시간 소결시 donor dopant 첨가량에 따른 ZST의 유전상수는 소결밀도의 변화 거동과 잘 일치하였다. 5.5 GHz에서 측정 한 ZST의 품질계수 Q는 ~0.5 mol% WO3 Ta2O5 및 Nb2O5 첨가에 의해 6800에서 8500 정도로 증가 하였다. ZST의 $\tau$f는 0.3 mol%까지의 WO3 첨가량 증가에 따라 0 ppm/$^{\circ}C$에서 -4.6 ppm/$^{\circ}C$까지 음 의 값으로 직선적으로 감소하였으며 0.4 mol% 범위의 Ta2O5 및 Nb2O5 첨가에 의해 -7 ppm/$^{\circ}C$ 까지 직선적으로 감소하였다.
