드라마의 주된 언어 사용이 지역출신 청년의 감정, 인식, 행동에 미치는 영향 : tvN 드라마 <톱스타 유백이> 수용자 심층인터뷰 (Study on the Influence of Watching Dialectic Dominant Television Drama to the Emotion, Recognition & Action of Regional Youth : In-Depth Interview with the Viewer of tvN Drama )

  • 기존의 드라마와는 반대로 tvN 드라마 <톱스타 유백이>에서는 출연자의 대다수가 전남 방언을 사용한다는 점에서 독특하다. 고향을 떠나 공부하고 있는 전남 출신 청년들에게 이 드라마의 시청이 방언에 대한 감정, 인식, 행동에 적지 않은 영향을 미친 것으로 예상할 수 있었고, 실제 심층인터뷰를 통해서 확인할 수 있었다. 연구참여자들은 하나같이 친근함에 대해 호소했으며, 일부는 방언이 낯설게 느껴졌다고 답했다. 또한 방언에 대해 새롭게 인식하고 객관적인 매력을 발견했으며, 사라져가는 방언을 보존해야 한다는 필요성을 인식하는 것으로 나타났다. 또한 드라마 시청 이후 방언을 더 적극적으로 사용하겠다는 다짐을 했으며, 미디어와 사람을 통해서 방언과 더 적극적으로 만나고 싶다는 변화를 체험했다고 답했다. 이와 같은 결론을 종합할 때, 방언은 새롭게 개발될 재미의 요소라고 할 수 있으며, 방언을 주된 언어로 사용한 드라마의 방언이 해당 지역출신 청년들에게 방언의 가치를 재인식시키고, 방언을 더 적극적으로 사용하게 만들었음을 알 수 있다. 따라서 방송에서의 방언을 매우 신중하고 적극적으로 활용할 필요가 있다고 결론내릴 수 있겠다.

네덜란드 RE;USE 디자인의 창발성과 변증적 사유방식 (The Emergent Properties and Dialectic way of thinking of the Dutch RE;USE Design)

  • This is a study on the application of a dialectic way of thinking in terms of design methods, and has contents about the formation of new visual and the ways of process that are triggered by cognitive introspection. A ccordingly, the study has its purposes in interpretation and recommendation of new methodological systems around dialectic principles and ways of thinking on the works of the Dutch Architecture Exhibition carried out in Korea in 2013, with the theme of "Reuse" among the aspects expanding since the reflexive modernization. Firstly, the basic features of Dutch designs were connected to dialectic ways of thinking. After studying the basic concepts of dialectics from Greek philosophies to Kant, Hegel, Marx and Benjamin, the aspects of applying them onto creative works such as art, architecture and design were methodologically systematized. Through this process, it was confirmed that the existing concepts are newly rearranged rationally, logically and scientifically based on dialectic ways of thinking rather than subjectively or emotionally. From the study of the 12 art works, it was confirmed that the value of use and potential obstacles have been used as a design solution. Also, the process which is juxtaposed with the result by itself has been expressed and causes the alienation effect. Therefore, such dialectic ways of thinking was organized into a procedural flow of contradictory recognition on situations, drive due to negativity, mutual penetration, mutual transformation, abstraction, verbalizing and creation of new concepts, and it was confirmed that such finding was valid in securing creative possibilities as 'New Uses' rather than 'Re-uses'.

정치 윤리학으로서의 민족주의: 민족과 개인의 욕망 (Nationalism as a Political Ethics: Nation and Individual Desire)

  • Nationalism endorses a collective movement to establish an authentic position in the international cultural and political arena. Arguably the dialectic of nationalism and geopolitics bears a reassuring similarity to the philosophical lineage going back, at least, to Hegelian dialectic of universality and particularity. This dialectic platform has been concerned with sustaining, among other things, the dynamics between the universal and the particular. In practical terms, nationalism prompts increased sensitivity to socio-political pressures coming from abroad to cancel the national particularity into geopolitical, so-called universal, anonymity. Drawing suggestively from psychoanalysis, Lacanian ethics in particular, this discussion articulates the ethics of nationalism. Recounting Kantian self-determination as a reference point for responsible morality, Lacan suggests the problematics of desire as an alternative index for ethics. As individual desire flows from the unfathomable abyss of misrecognition, Lacanian ethics dissuade individuals to unlearn the fantasy that their own real desire, a residue produced by the Symbolic process, can be satisfied with that very socio-cultural Symbolic. Subjecting nationalism to Lacanian implications, Zizek illuminates nationalism as a small screening object which obscures as much as displays the circuits to the individual desire. Psychoanalytic ethics addresses that the ethical base should be found upon the particular, individual, real desire. As far as the nationalist cause also puts emphasis upon particularity rather than universality, nationalism is logically positioned to exert reflective efforts on empowering its constitutive individuals. Lacanian ethics persuades us to challenge the universal claim and to work through to regenerate nationalism in presenting its final contribution towards individual particularities.

  • Tomas Gutiérrez Alea, internationally famous cuban director, made the film Up to a certain point with a purpose of criticizing the existence of the extreme male chauvinism as 'machismo' in cuban society of 80's despite of many changes of cultural and social paradigms through 60's and 70's. The director gathered the themes and topics of the films like Lucia, One way or another, and Teresa's portrait and analyzed them to present alternatives. The way of approaching to solve that kind of social problems that Alea proposed to the spectator is taking time to think of the problems with a way of "The Viewer's Dialectic". Identification with the protagonist of the film(thesis) and alienation from him(antithesis) could make the audience generalize the diverse aspects of the problem and then one might get an insight(synthesis) to live the life with more satisfaction that is supposed to be a social function of the film as arts according to the director of the film Up to a certain point.

  • This paper complements the work of Courtney et al. in viewing learning organizations as inquiring systems. Hegelian inquiring systems are based on the dialectic. Dialectic can not exist without dialogue. The guarantor of this system is conflict. Hegelian inquiring systems would facilitate multiple and contradictory interpretations of reality. Hegelian synthesis of two opposing models-thesis and antithesis-is the epitome of open systems and double-loop learning. Knowledge gained from the Hegelian inquiring systems may result in an entirely new strategic direction to organizations. This paper reviews some guidelines and principles of Hegelian learning organizations and IT support of it. Also it proposes the immediate deployment of Hegelian learning organizations in the wicked business environments and finally suggests the development of new, flexible information technologies and systems for Hegelian organizations.

  • Dongeuibogam established a new tradition in Korean medicine by integrating the theories of Oriental medicine including eum yang and five elements, heaven man correspondence, and five viscera and six entrails as well as various etiologies, pathogeneses and dialectic theories. The book systematized various medical theories clearly by selecting items in an organized way and developing discussions logically. Thus, the present study chose , analyzed its references, and examined medical theories on 'coughing' in Dongeuibogam focused on the symptoms, etiology, type, dialectic and analogous cases of coughing.

추상에서 구체로의 상승을 통한 삼각함수의 재구성 (A Study on Reconstruction of Trigonometry Based on Ascent from the Abstract to the Concrete)

  • In this article we study a reconstruction of mathematical knowledge on trigonometry by the method of ascent from the abstract to the concrete from the pedagogical viewpoint of dialectic. The direction of education is shifting in a way that emphasizes the active constitution of knowledge by the learning subjects from the perspective that knowledge is transferred from the teacher to the student. In mathematics education, active discussions on the construction of mathematical knowledge by learners have been going on since the late 1990s. In Korea, concepts and aspects of constructivism such as operational constructivism, radical constructivism, and social constructivism were introduced. However, examples of practical construction according to the direction of construction of mathematical knowledge are very hard to find. In this study, we discuss the direction of the actual construction of mathematical knowledge and suggest a concrete example of the actual construction of trigonometry knowledge from a constructivist point of view. In particular, we discuss the process of the construction of theoretical knowledge, the ascent from the abstract to the concrete, based on the literature study from the pedagogical viewpoint of dialectic, and show how to construct the mathematical knowledge on trigonometry by the method of ascent from the abstract to the concrete. Through this study, it is expected to introduce the new direction and new method of knowledge construction as 'the ascent from the abstract to the concrete', and to present the possibility of applying dialectic concepts to mathematics education.

정보 시대의 교육과 윤리 (Education and Ethics in Information Age)

  • 정보시대에 들어오면서 사회적 정보문제와 개인적 정보문제, 그리고 정보화에 따른 실체 손실과 경험의 이차화 현상들이 점점 심화되고 있다. 정보교육 또는 정보문해 교육은 변증법적 관점에서 볼 때 정보시대에 들어오면서 자각되어 드러난 갈등들을 통일적인 합으로 나아가게 만드는 중요한 문화적 중재 매체이다. 본 연구는 2001년 발표된 졸고 "정보교육의 문화적 담론"에서 제기 되었던 개인적 정보문제와 사회적 정보문제의 변증법적 해석을 기초로 거시적인 교육 이니셔티브와 정보윤리 문제를 다루었다. 거시적 교육 이니셔티브와 관련해서는 다양한 교육기관과 교육시스템에 요구되는 정보접근성을 위한 교육기회의 균등 문제와 정보문해 교육을 위한 과제가 논의되었다. 정보윤리와 관련해서는 정보의 생산과 사용 측면에서의 정보윤리와 이에 대한교육적 책임을 다루었다.

  • For the past few decades functionalism have dominated the epistemological arena in organizational science. However, the positivist-inspired movement of functionalism have proved inadequate for explaining the radical transformations of organizations. During the last decade dialectical theory has been starting to be heard. This paper identifies the dialectic as the unifying principle of a broad and diffuse tradition of thought. Beginning with a excavation of the philosophical foundations of dialectical theory in the thought of Kant, Hegel, and Marx, this paper goes through the various twists and the turns of the dialectic in the major twentieth-century movements of neomarxism, phenomenology, and critical theory. Also, this paper presents the implications of the dialectical approach in organization science. The discipline of organization theory has been imprisoned by its functionalism, therefore, stimulating an awareness through which it can begin to set itself free has become imperative. Dialectical theory, be cause it is essentially a process perspective, focuses on the dimension currently missing in much organizational thought, It opens analysis to the processes through which actors carve out and stabilize a sphere to the processes through which actors carve out and stabilize a sphere of rationality and those through which such rationalized spheres dissolve.

혁신 중학교 과학 수업 사례를 통해 본 구조가 학생과 교사의 행위성에 미치는 영향: 정책과 실천에 대한 시사점 (Examining How Structures Shape Teacher and Student Agency in Science Classrooms in an Innovative Middle School: Implications for Policy and Practice)

  • Conducted as an ethnographic examination of science teaching and learning in an Innovative Middle School in Korea, this study employs sociocultural theory to examine how structures afford and limit student participation in an innovative school designed to promote student-centered learning. Data includes teacher and student interviews, student responses to a questionnaire, classroom observations, and analysis of video recordings of ten lessons in two in two 8th grade science classes. Using structure|agency dialectic theory, we identify and describe some structures that afford and limit teacher and student agency at the micro (science classrooms), meso (school), and macro (Korean society) levels to raise some questions about current reform measures, such as innovation schools, that seek to position classroom teachers as agents for change in science education reform in Korea. Findings suggest that while teachers and school administrators play an essential role in structuring learning opportunities at the meso and micro levels, they have limited agency to address structural constraints originating at the macro-level, which can negatively impact teaching and learning in the science classroom. We offer implications for policy and practice and argue the need for more qualitative research, informed by sociocultural theory, to inform science education reform efforts in Korea.
