As increasing the accident of Distribution Transformer (DT), we need to manage them efficiently. In this paper, we discusses with the possibility of the diagnostic technique for distribution transformer using relative ageing rate calculation in this paper. The relative ageing rate of the DT could be calculated from the measured top oil temperature, ambient temperature and load current. In order on apply the proposed diagnostic technique we developed an on line Monitoring and Diagnostic System (MDS) which has hardware and software part. Diagnostic device is developed to measure the state information of DT and to send them with R/F(radio frequency) communication. Host computer monitors and saves the receive data. The database is constructed from the data of distributed DT and it is used for estimating loss-of-life in the MDS.

Objective : The purpose of this study is exploring value of Shanghanlun six diagnostic system as Narrative Medicine by analyzing cases. Methods : In the article, we examined the theory of narrative medicine and current studies. And then key elements of narrative medicine was defined. On the basis of these, two medical cases were analyzed by reordering in accordance with time sequences and causality for confirming narrative factors. Results : The narrative approach to analyzing cases shows us that different diseases could be the result of same pathological patterns based on Shanghanlun. This tells us following four aspects. [1] Shanghanlun is the causes-oriented records and the text includes narrative factors. [2] Shanghanlun six diagnostic system is a process of constructing plot of medical case history through the clinical interpretation of contextual meaning of patient's life. [3] In the process of diagnosis, Schemata and script are engaged in assuming and confirming six patterns diseases. [4] The subjective factors of an individual can be applied universally through the provision of Shanghanlun. Conclusions : Narrative factors of Shanghanlun six diagnostic system suggest the possibility and value of Shanghan Medicine as Narrative Medicine in terms of Medical Humanities, essence of medical diagnosis and therapeutic action.

Object : Traditional Korean Medicine Diagnostic Support System(TKMDSS) is the diagnostic prescribing system based on ontology developed by Korea Institute of Oriental Medicine. We monitored and assessed its usefulness and searched for improvements. Methods : We collected 10 cases of stroke inpatients of Dongguk University Ilsan Oriental Hospital. They were diagnosed by primary care physician and another researcher who monitored using "TKMDSS" respectively. We compared the process and results of two diagnosis. Results : The diagnostic concordance rate between primary care physician and researcher were pretty high. Most of the problems were caused by expressions on symptoms inappropriate use of terminology. The severity of symptoms and vague symptoms which is hard to be diagnosed should be reflected and measured in this system. Conclusions : The problems were about terminology and definition. The terminology should be defined accurately and in-depth detail so that anyone can get the right information. If the problems were modified, "TKMMSS" could be utilized as supportive measures for oriental medicine doctors and students.

Objective : A Patient complaining of dizziness was diagnosed and treated with the Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system and was analyzed to report cases Methods : Based on the Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system, we analyzed a case treated with the Baekho-tang and counseling. Results : Baekho-tang showed a rapid improvement in the patient. During the period of 20 days, dizziness were greatly improved. Conclusions : The Baekho-tang, which is not well known yet, can show rapid effect and can be diagnosed frequently through the Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system.

To inquire its usefulness of the clinical application of intelligent replenishment system of automatic X-ray film processor based on film density, we processed the serial 300 sheets of radiographic film of chest [$14{\times}14"$, HR-C type] and bone [elbow & ankle($8{\times}10"$), skull($10{\times}12"$), hand & foot($11{\times}14"$), pelvis($14{\times}17"$), HR-G type, 68, 70, 77, 85 sheets respectively]. We analyzed the characteristic corves, relative speeds, average gradients and base plus fog densities every twenty five sheets. We also evaluated the developer and fixer replenishment volumes every that time. In the chest and bone radiograph two all, the characteristic curves were little change, and the relative speeds, average gradients and base plus fog densities were within the maximum control limits. The average developer replenishment volumes were about 43m1/sheet and 39m1/sheet respectively. It brings decreased results about 29% in comparison with the conventional replenishment system. In our experiences, we conclude that the intelligent replenishment system of automatic X-ray film processor based on film density maintains image quality consistently, decreases also the replenishment volumes. Therefore, this system will be resulted in economic and environmental effects, and solve problems of over and low replenishment volume.

Objective : The purpose of this paper is to report the effect of Danggwihweyeokgaohsuyu-saenggang-tang(DHGOST) on primary dysmenorrhea from the disease pattern identification diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions. Methods : According to a disease pattern identification diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions, the patient was diagnosed with 'Reverting Yin Disease'. She took DHGOST for 75 days. This paper evaluated the results of treatment by Measure of Menstrual Pain(MMP) and Menstrual Symptom Severity List(MMSL) Results : The MMP score was declined from 8.3 to 3.5. And the MMSL score was declined from 46 to 38. Conclusions : This case study suggests that DHGOST has effectiveness on primary dysmenorrhea who is diagnosed with 'Reverting Yin Disease'.

Objective : The purpose of this paper is to report the effect of Daehamhyung-tang(DHHT) on tinnitus with panic disorder from the disease pattern identification diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions. Methods : According to a disease pattern identification diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions, the patient was diagnosed with 'Taeyang-byung Gyeolhyung'. He took DHHT for 82 days. This paper evaluated the results of treatment on tinnitus by Tinnitus Handicap Inventory(THI) and Verbal Numercial Rating Scale(VNRS). To assess the mental state of anxiety, this paper used Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale(HAM-A) Results : The THI score was declined from 58 to 6 And the VNRS score was declined from 6 to 1. HAM-A score was declined from 28 to 3. Conclusions : This case study suggests that DHHT has effectiveness on a patient suffers from tinnitus with panic disorder and diagnosed with 'Taeyang-byung Gyeolhyung'.

Objective : The objective of this study is to define the conceptional meaning of Shanghanlun provision while applying Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system. Methods : 2 clinical cases, whose patients were treated by Injinho-tang, which was selected according to Shanghanlun provisions dualized with Je-Gang(提綱) and Jo-Moon(條文), were analyzed. Results : According to the results of analysis of 2 cases, the patients' diseases were improved when the treatment was applied according to Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system and the interpretation of Shanghanlun provisions according to the etymology of Chinese character. Conclusions : These results suggests that Shanghanlun provisions be applied according to etymological interpretation of Chinese character in Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system.

Air-operated valve is one of principal valves that are using to control fluid flow in nuclear power plants. A period diagnosis lot safety of power plants is necessary. But there are many difficulties such as economic loss caused by income of high cost devices and a matter hard to deal with users. In this study, we developed the diagnostic system that users of power plants are easy to handle. The diagnostic system is composed of database module, diagnosis test module and evaluation module.

Objective : Patients complaining of dizziness and olfactory hallucination who were diagnosed and treated with the Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system were analyzed to report cases. Methods : This is a case report on a patient who has been suffering from Dizziness andolfactory hallucination. According to Diagnostic system based on Shanghanlun provisions, Gyeji-tang was provided. The severity of Dizziness was evaluated by NRS. Results : When analyzing the patient's history and symptoms, it can be found in article No. 42 in Shanghanlun. In the first case, NRS changed from 8 to 2. In the second case, NRS change 8 to 1. Conclusions : Gyeji-tang can be effective in dizziness and olfactory hallucination with the Shanghanlun disease pattern identification diagnostic system.
