폐콘크리트분말 혼합 흙도로 포장용 모르타르의 압축강도 특성 (Properties of Compressive Strength of Mortar Mixed with WCP for Soil Pavement)

  • Recently, for industrial development period, concrete structures in domestics have been increased. They were deteriorated by attack of carbonation, freeze-thaw and corrosion etc. In hence they were demolished and reconstructed, resulted in waste concrete particles. In this paper, waste concrete particles (WCP) by product from different crushing and selecting process were used in soil cement-based pavement in the various recycling. For using WCP in soil cement-based pavement, the Qualities, physical and chemical properties, of WCP should be researched. In the first step, the specified compressive strength of mortar for two types of clay sand soil and clay soil respectively was experimented to be 15 Mpa and then optimum mixing ratio of chemical solidification agent were decided in the range of $1.5\~3.0\%$ in the replacement with cement weight content. In the second step, based on the prior experimental results, recycling possibility of WCP in soil cement-based pavement was studied. In the result of experiment the mixing ratio of WCP were 5, 10, 15 and $20\%$ in the replacement with soil weight and the compressive strength of mortar was somewhat decreased according to the increase of the mixing ratio of WCP.

강성특성치를 이용한 고속전철 콘크리트궤도의 처짐가능성 평가 (Evaluation of Concrete-Track Deformation for High-Speed Railways by Characteristic Stiffness)

  • Concrete tracks are superior to ballast tracks in the aspect of durability, maintenance and safety. However, deteriorated stiffness of railroad bed and settlement of soft ground induced by trapped or seepage water lead to problems in safety of train operation. In this research, characteristic stiffness of concrete tracks, which is determined from FRACTAL (Flexural-Rigidity Assessment of Concrete Tracks by Antisymmetric Lamb Waves) technique, was employed as an index of track displacement. The characteristic stiffness is defined using Poisson's ratio, moment of inertia and stiffness ratio of subgrade to slab. To verify validity and reliability of the proposed characteristic stiffness, experimental and theoretical researches were performed. Feasibility of the characteristic stiffness based on FRACTAL technique was proved at a real concrete track for Korean high-speed trains. Validity of the FRACTAL technique was also verified by comparing the results of impulse-response tests performed at the same measurement array and the results of SASW tests and DC resistivity survey performed at a shoulder nearby the track.

항균제 도포에 의한 하수시설 콘크리트의 성능향상에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Performance Development of Sewage Concrete by Application of Antibiotics)

  • 현대사회에 있어 필수불가결한 사회기반시설인 하수시설은 대부분 주요 재질이 콘크리트이며, 이러한 콘크리트 하수시설은 최근 황산화세균에 기인한 생화학적 부식에 의해 심각하게 열화되고 있는 상황이다. 이에 본 연구에서는 생화학적 부식을 방지하기 위한 기법으로서 황산화세균의 생장을 억제할 수 있는 항균제를 개발한 후 황산화세균에 대한 항균성능을 평가하였으며, 콘크리트에 대한 적용성을 검토하기 위해 항균제를 도포한 콘크리트의 각종 물리적 성능 및 내구성능을 실험적으로 검토하였다. 그 결과 항균제의 항균성능은 유효하였으며, 항균제 도포에 의한 압축강도 및 부착강도는 유의할 만한 경향을 보이지 않았고, 마모저항성, 흡수 및 투기 저항성, 중성화 염해 및 화학저항성은 현저히 증가하는 것으로 나타났다.

폴리머 시멘트 모르타르를 이용한 원심력 철근콘크리트관의 라이닝 (Lining of Reinforced Spun Concrete Pipes using Polymer-Modified Mortars)

  • 본 연구는 기존 원심력 철근콘크리트관의 성능을 향상시킬 수 있는 방법으로 관체 표면을 일정한 두께로 방식 라이닝 모르타르로 처리함으로써 보다 더 내구적인 하수관을 개발하기 위하여 실시하였다. 이를 위해 원심력 철근콘크리트관 제작 시, 동시성형이 가능하고 촉진 증기양생 조건에서도 균열이 발생되지 않는 접착강도가 큰 폴리머 시멘트 모르타르를 제조하였다. 폴리머 시멘트 모르타르를 원심력 철근콘크리트관용 라이닝 재료로 사용하기 위한 기초적 실험결과, 보통 시멘트 모르타르에 비해 역학적 성질 및 내구성이 우수하였으며, 현장적용결과, 동시성형 및 양생조건에 따라 적용될 수 있는 방법은 다양하나, 폴리머의 종류에 관계없이 폴리머 시멘트비를 20% 이하로 하며, 양생온도는 8$0^{\circ}C$이하의 양생조건을 제안할 수 있었다. 또한 현장조건이 가능하면, 2일간 기중양생(2$0^{\circ}C$)을 실시하여 폴리머 시멘트 모르타르 속의 폴리머 필름이 형성된 후, 8$0^{\circ}C$에서 양생시키는 방법이 이상적인 것으로 나타났다.

콘크리트 슬래브궤도의 휨강성 평가를 위한 비파괴 탄성파 기법의 개발 (Development of a Nondestructive Seismic Technique for Flexural Rigidity of Concrete Track as Slab Displacement Index)

  • 최근 고속전철의 자갈도상에 대한 대안으로 콘크리트 슬래브궤도가 도입되어 고속전철 신규노선에 시공되고 있다. 콘크리트 슬래브궤도는 자갈도상에 비해 내구성, 유지관리 측면에서의 경제성, 열차운행의 안정성 등의 측면에서 우위에 있지만, 우수 및 지하수로 인한 노반강성의 저하, 연약한 원지반의 침하 등으로 인한 슬래브궤도의 처짐은 열차안정성에 치명적인 결함이 된다. 본 연구에서는 슬래브궤도의 처짐 지표로서 슬래브궤도의 휨강성을 설정하고, 슬래브궤도의 휨강성을 2차원 영상으로 표현할 수 있는 FRACTAL (Flexural-Rigidity Assessment of Concrete Tracks by Antisymmetric Lamb Waves) 기법이라는 비파괴 탄성파 기법을 제안하였다. 이론적 근거 확보를 위하여 콘크리트 슬래브궤도에서의 탄성파 시험을 수치해석적으로 모사하여 영향인자 연구를 수행하였고, FRACTAL 기법의 적용성 평가를 위하여 실제 고속전철 슬래브궤도에 적용하여 보았다. 그리고 FRACTAL 시험측선과 동일 측선에서 Impulse-Response 기법과 인접지반에서 전기비저항시험을 수행하여, FRACTAL 기법의 신뢰성을 검증하였다.

A study of deterioration of reinforced concrete beams under various forms of simulated acid rain attack in the laboratory

  • This paper studies the behaviour of deteriorated reinforced concrete (RC) beams attacked by various forms of simulated acid rain. An artificial rainfall simulator was firstly designed and evaluated. Eleven RC beams ($120mm{\times}200mm{\times}1800mm$) were then constructed in the laboratory. Among them, one was acting as a reference beam and the others were subjected to three accelerated corrosion methods, including immersion, wetting-drying, and artificial rainfall methods, to simulate the attack of real acid rain. Acid solutions with pH levels of 1.5 and 2.5 were considered. Next, ultrasonic, scanning electron microscopy (SEM), dynamic, and three-point bending tests were performed to investigate the mechanical properties of concrete and flexural behaviour of the RC beams. It can be concluded that the designed artificial simulator can be effectively used to simulate the real acid rainfall. Both the immersion and wetting-drying methods magnify the effects of the real acid rainfall on the RC beams.

Development of Efficient Curing Sheet for Thermal Insulation Curing of Concrete in Cold Weather

  • For cold weather concreting, frost damage at early age is generated in the concrete, and problems such as delaying of setting and hardening and lowering of strength manifestation emerge due to the low outside air temperature at the early stage of pouring, making the selection of an effective curing method critically important. Unfortunately, the tent sheet currently used as the curing film for heating insulation at work sites, not only has the problems of inferior permeability and extremely deteriorated airtightness, but a phenomenon of continuous fracturing is also generated along the direction of fabric of the material itself, presenting difficult circumstances for maintaining adequate curing temperature. The aim of this study was to develop an improved bubble sheet type curing film for heating insulation of cold weather concrete by combining mesh-tarpaulin, which has excellent tension properties, with bubble sheet, which offers superior insulation performance. The analysis showed that the improved curing film in which BBS1 is stacked to MT was a suitable replacement for curing films currently in use, as it has better permeability, tension property, and insulation performance than the T type film used at work sites today.

비재하 가열시험 및 Stub 시험체를 활용한 CFT기둥의 역학적 특성평가에 관한 실험적 연구 (An Experimental Study on the Evaluation of Mechanical Properties of CFT Column by Unstressed Test and Stub Specimen)

  • Recently, it increases in use of CFT(Concrete filled steel tube, below CFT) because material and method are required to be diversification and High-Performance according to increase the super-high structure. But, CFT column lose bearing capacity under fire because steel tube is exposed to outside. As a result, structure is collapsed and then it cause much damage. In case of the Europe, Japan and America, they have studied the fire-resistance performance of CFT under fire for a long time. However, it would have hardly studied it in domestic because it is much difficulty about experiment machine and cost. So it is needed base on fire-resist performance of CFT under fire. Therefore, this study dynamic specificity of stub column which made tester of stub column based on facts of strength and mixing fiber evaluated used heating and load testing machine. As a result, it is willing to propose fundamental data for quick and accurate diagnosis of deteriorated concrete structure by fire damage with experiment according to the design high strength concrete.

  • 철근콘크리트구조물은 시간이 경과함에 따라 노후화현상이 일어난다. 이에 갱생수단으로 보수 보강이 이루어지고 있다. 현재 보강재료로써 FRP가 높은 관심과 더불어 많은 활용을 하고 이에 대한 연구가 이루어지고 있다. 본 연구에서는 전단보강근이 없는 철근콘크리트보에 매립형 탄소섬유막대(CFRP)를 전단보강하여 그에 따른 효과를 파악하기 위해 시험체를 제작하여 실험을 수행하였다. 전단보강근이 없는 철근콘크리트보에 매립형 탄소섬유막대(CFRP)를 전단보강하여 탄소섬유막대(CFRP)의 순수전단내력을 파악하고, 전단보강에 따른 시험체의 전단파괴거동을 파악하고자 한다. 또한 실험변수를 탄소섬유막대(CFRP)의 보강량과 보강간격으로 두어, 이에 따른 전단보강효과를 파악하고자 한다.

유효묻힘깊이에 따른 후설치앵커의 인발성능평가 (An Performance Evaluation of Post-installed Anchor according to the Effective Embedment Length)

  • Concrete wedge anchor is one of structural components to transfer load of an object attached to a primary structure. Recently, as retrofitting concrete structure is becoming a main issue, mechanical capacity of the anchor should be secured enough. In spite of the structural safety of Cast-in-place anchor, Post-installed anchor is more widely used with ease of placement or change of construction method. However, the post-installed anchors domestically produced have excessive coefficient of variation over 15% of ultimate tensile strength, which yields deteriorated quality in tensile strength. In this research, tensile strength test of anchors, which have improved sleeve and header and produced by a domestic company, was conducted for two variables, concrete strength and effective embedment depth. As a result, enough coefficients of variations were secured in all specimens. Also, in comparison to foreign products, the domestic ones have equal or higher performance.
