We present a design study for a remote sensing camera system which can be operated in multi-channel mode simultaneously with several bandpass filters. The camera control electronics is based on the multiplexed driving concept, which can provide a variety of flexibility for system control parameters and its individual optimisation. The design can also be applied to any system with linear sensors or frame sensors according to its functional requirements. The system design parameters have been examined, including modification of driving waveforms for different types of sensors, waveforms for low-nosie readout circuit in analog chain, and synchronisation with other signal processing.

The bond performance of prestressing strands is still not well understood and is still in controversy on the validity of the test results up to today, although it is a basic information to desing the prestressed pretensioned concrete beams. Different transfer length has been found for a product of the same company, but of the different production methods and factories in the United States. It is necessary to determine optimum transfer bond length of the domestic stands because the ultimate flexural and shear capacity in a section of prestressed concrete beams are evaluated under the assumption that the anchorage bond failure shall not happen. The transfer lenght of low-relaxation, Gr 270, and 1/2" seven-wire prestressing strands from four domestic companies will be evaluated by the concrete strain method. The recent concept of the 95% Maximum Average Strain Method suggested by Russel et al. will be considered to obtain the transfer length of domestic strands. It will be also evaluated if the domestic strands are conform to ACI 318-95.8-95.

Onboard ATC performs the train speed ristriction function by receiving the speed limit on sections of track from wayside ATC. Onboard ATC can protect passenger from collision and derailment, and so on. So, the high level of safety and reliability for Onboard ATC is required, and by this reason, it is also required to improve the safety of Onboard ATC by applying the result of safety analysis on the Onboard ATC into its design and developing from the concept definition to the detailed desing phase. The paper introduces, when developing Onboard ATC, the safety improvement of Onboard ATC can be accomplished by applying system requirements from Risk Analysis into software and hardware.

항만 및 항로의 설계에 있어서 시뮬레이터 적용의 중요성과 그 기능이 강조되고 있다. 본 연구에서는 시뮬레이션의 다른 방법과 그 적용에 대하여 소개하였고, 대축척 시뮬레이션의 개념, 그룹시뮬레이션을 제안하였다. 이 과업을 적절하고 효과적으로 수행하기 위하여 시뮬레이터의 요구조건을 제시하였고, 특별히 항로설계 시뮬레션에서 가장 중요한 선박의 동하중 모델링에서의 몇가지 관점과 주위환경 요소를 설명하고 알고리즘을 나타내었다.

8단자 가변임피던스 전자파 발생장치(8P-VWIG:8Ports-Variable Wave Impedance Generator)에 대한 설계 기술에 대해 나타내고, 내부에서 유기뇌는 전자기장 및 특성임피던스에 대한 수치해석, 일정한 특성임피던스를 갖는 구조에 대해 간단하게 추적할 수 있는 수치알고리즘에 대해 나타내었다. 또한 특정 구조에 대한 균일도 평가결과와 내부 전자계 분포, 그리고 그 응용으로서 EMS 측정시스템에 대한 간단한 소개를 나타내었다. 8P-VWIG는 기존 간이 EMI/EMS 시설들에 비해 시험공간의 활용도가 좋고, 수직 수평 분극 조성이 자유로운 장점을 가지고 있다. 제작된 8P-VWIG는 정재파비로 측정된 제 1공진이 152.1MHz에서 발생하고, $50{\Omega}$ 임피던스 정합 시스템으로 동작하도록 한 8채널의 다중전송선로 구조를 갖는다.

Application of digital filter to the wave analysis is studied using the observed data by wave gauge. Sea wave data obtained from wave gauge always include long wave frequency components. In order to estimate the sea wave parameters, we must re-analyzed wave data by using a digital filter and the concept of mean sea level correction method. By the wave by wave analysis and spectral methods, sea wave parameters on the basis of wave data obtained by the conventional method and digital filter are compared. The best-fitted design filter determined by the necessary conditions of frequency responses, can be obtained by calculating various transfer functions. Thus, to get the best the digital filter design, both Butterworth filter and Savitzky-Golay filter of digital filter are used in the frequency and time domain, respectively. Three cases of observation wave data are calculated by applying digital filter. The components of different frequency bands in the surf zone are coexisted in three cases. The wave data for wind wave components is computed using the digital filter the surf zone and off-surf zone, and based on the filtered data, wave parameters are calculated by the spectral analysis and wave by wave analysis methods, respectively. As a results, when sea wave data observed by wave gauge are analyzed, the Savitzky-Golay method is recommended which can well appear cut-off frequency by experimental choosing filter length in the time domain. The better mean sea level correction method is the Butterworth filter in the frequency domain.
