This paper presents an Image Motion Compensation (IMC) algorithm for the Korea's Communication, Ocean, and Meteorological Satellite (COMS)-1. An IMC algorithm is a priority component of image registration in Image Navigation and Registration (INR) system to locate and register radiometric image data. Due to various perturbations, a satellite has orbit and attitude errors with respect to a reference motion. These errors cause depointing of the imager aiming direction, and in consequence cause image distortions. To correct the depointing of the imager aiming direction, a compensation algorithm is designed by adapting different equations from those used for the GOES satellites. The capability of the algorithm is compared with that of existing algorithm applied to the GOES's INR system. The algorithm developed in this paper improves pointing accuracy by 40%, and efficiently compensates the depointings of the imager aiming direction.

It has been known that the host mobility feature has very significant impact on the QoS (Quality of Service), which is usually required to a real-time multimedia application. The existing QoS support mechanisms to provide the real-time services to fixed network environment, like as RSVP, are inadequate to accommodate the mobile hosts which can frequently change their point of attachments to the fixed network. So, MRSVP (Mobile RSVP) protocol has been proposed to reduce the impacts of host mobility on QoS guarantees, in which a mobile host needs to make advance resource reservations at multiple locations it may possibly visit during the lifetime of the connection. This paper proposes a dynamic dual anchor node (DDAN) architecture which integrates the MRSVP and RSVP tunnel, in addition to the Mobile IP Regional Registration protocol. By limiting the resource reserved in local area, it preserves the lower level of resource reservation, but provides approximately the same degree of QoS support as the existing MRSVP.

Purpose : This study investigated the effects of personality and sensory processing on college life adaptation in students majoring in occupational therapy. Methods : We conducted a survey study on 251 college students from March to May 2023. Personality, sensory processing, and college life adaptation were measured through the international personality item pool, adolescent/adult sensory profile, and student adaptation to college questionnaire, respectively. The general characteristics of students were analyzed using frequency analysis, and differences in college life adaptation and sensory processing characteristics were analyzed using independent t-tests and one-way ANOVA. The relationship between personality, sensory processing, and college life adaptation scores was analyzed using Pearson correlation analysis. The impact of personality and sensory processing on college life adaptation was analyzed using multivariate regression analysis using SPSS 25.0. Results : Correlations of all five personality factors, except openness to experience, were observed with students' college life adaptation. According to sensory processing characteristics, differences in college life adaption showed significant differences in sensory avoidance, poor registration, and sensory sensitivity. The variance of college life adaptation explained by each factor (based on R²) were 46% by personality and 26% by sensory processing. Among personality traits, neuroticism had a negative effect on college life adaptation, agreeableness and extroversion had positive effects, and low registration during sensory processing had a negative effect. Conclusion : This study suggests the provision of various activities and creation of an environment for college students with low sensory registration and neurotic traits to encourage positive changes. The results can be used to design a program that helps college students adapt to occupational therapy majors.

The protection of Design is very important issues in these days. Even though Interior Design is also one of important design sections, it is relatively unprotected by formal intellectual property laws, yet creativity and innovation flourish. The needs for protection of Interior Design have been creased. The aim of this study is to suggest the weakness of the system for protection of Interior Design. The proposed research is comprised of two themes. One is to research Acts related to protection of Interior Design. The second is to study the registered cases under the Design Protection Acts. These two theme is generated by the comparative review between ROK and U.S.A. Through these comparative results, this study propose some considerations for an effective protection for Interior Design. Design need to be registered in the hole image of the space not a partial element. The concept needs to be protected because it is more effective way to respond the copying. Exterior for facade and Interior Design need to be registered in one registration to use the protection system actively.

This paper describes a novel experiment that measures skin movement with respect to the flexional motion of a hand. The study was based on MR images in conjunction with CAD techniques. The MR images of the hand were captured in 3 different postures with surface markers. The surface markers attached to the skin where employed to trace skin movement during the flexional motion of the hand. After reconstructing 3D isosurfaces from the segmented MR images, the global registration was applied to the 3D models based on the particular bone shape of different postures. Skin movement was interpreted by measuring the centers of the surface markers in the registered models.

Use of herbicides in Korean agriculture has increased rapidly in recent years accompanying with ever-increasing pressure of farm labor shortage. Herbicides occupied already the second place in the rank of pesticides consumption in 1977. The agricultural experiment stations have carried out over 50 trials of chemical weed control each year since 1968. These research works and registration trials contributed much to the present wide use of herbicides. The pesticide management act amended in 1977 requires reevaluation of pesticides for their efficacy every 5 year-term. However, the development of sound weed control program and recommendations has been hempered very much by the lack of qualified workers of weed control research in agricultural experiment stations and in the institute for pesticide registration trial. Critical review of the past research works on herbicide evaluation and the present status indicates strong need for 1) the characterization of the nature of local and national weed problem, 2) the improvement of ability of the staffs in charge of weed control research through appropriate training on the basics and experimental techniques, and 3) organization and activities of weed control research committee. Furthermore, the present article attempts to clarify commonly misled points in the establishment of herbicide evaluation plan, in the design and execution of field trials, and in the assessment of trial results of the past works from the viewpoint of the basic principles with some case studies for resolution of specific enigmas.

Recently, there are requires for auction system by growing up internet. This paper says if the customers add wonted goods to wanted list, the system automatically announce information to the customer via Inter Web browsing, whenever the proper goods to register to the auction system by seller. The system provides registration customer information, registration goods, wanted goods. And the application program can be downloaded from the Web System. Especially, this paper provides us very convenience check up service using the mobile phone, we can check our wanted goods or auction lists without regarding to place or time, we can alse purchase the goods more rapidly and easily.

In this paper, we describe an IMT-2000 system architecture, a protocol stack, and basic MAP scenarios(e.g., registration, call delivery) based on the IS-41 and IS-41 and IS-751. This paper focuses on the MAP scenarios to support the IMSI which is defined for the global roaming between GSM and IS-41 Networks through the Family of System approach. This paper also deals with the design of the MAP protocol stack transported over the ATM networks and introduces the software structure of MAP in IMT-2000 MSC.

지난 1월말 cdma2000 1x EvDo의 상용서비스 개시와, 비슷한 시기인 2월초 주요 Hot-Spot 지역을 중심으로 무선 LAN 서비스의 상용화에 들어서면서 본격적인 패킷 서비스가 시작되었다. 이와 같은 널리 퍼진 인프라를 중심으로 사용자들은 머지 않아 언제 어디서든지 근접한 컴퓨팅 장비를 이용해서 주변 환경을 이용하고 제어하는 pervasive 컴퓨팅 환경에 이르게 될 것이다. 본 논문에서는 이와 같은 컴퓨팅 환경을 위한 lightweight 프로토콜인 BURP(Basic User Registration Protocol)를 통해 멀티미디어 서비스, 고화질 QoS 서비스, 네비게이션 서비스, 파일 출력/인쇄 서비스 등 사용자의 위치에서 사용자에 특정한 서비스 시나리오를 구성하였다.

Nowadays, it is hard to imagine one's life without smart phones or the internet. Furthermore, not only do people form groups offline, but also online. Based on the cognitive dissonance theory, there have been many studies about how an offline group's initiation affects attitudes toward the group. However, there has not been a study about how an online group's initiation can affect attitudes toward the group. Therefore, this study aims to find out how cognitive dissonance aroused by initiation affects the attitudes toward the online community, which represents groups that are formed online. In addition, this study examined how perceived similarity affects changes in attitude aroused by cognitive dissonance. Participants were assigned to a group in three ways as follows: without a registration process, with a simple registration process, and/or with a complex registration process. Perceived similarity was calculated by the difference between the current body mass index (BMI) and the target BMI of the participant. Attitudes toward the online group were measured by perceived source credibility, perceived information quality, satisfaction, information usefulness, and continuance intention. Contrary to the cognitive dissonance theory, the results showed that when applied to offline social groups, there were conflicting results. There were cases where there was no difference in the evaluation between initiation conditions. However, other cases showed that groups with the most complex registration process were found to have the worst evaluation. People were more favorable toward the group when the perceived similarity was larger. Interestingly, people who had higher perceived similarity had more positive attitudes toward the groups that had been assigned with a registration process compared to the group formed without a registration process. Conversely, people with lower perceived similarity had more positive attitudes toward the group when there was no initiation process. Online communities may use the results of this study to design more suitable registration processes for their communities.
