In this study, by using the natural language processing of the field of artificial intelligence, automated index was performed. And then, the Natural Language Processing Interface for knowledge representation(NALPI) has been developed. Furthermore, the DEsign KnOwledge DataBase(DEKODB) has been also developed, which is designed to interlock the knowledge base. The DEKODB processes both the documented design-data, like a concrete standard specification, and the design knowledge from an expert. The DEKODB is also simulates the design space of structures accordance with the production rule, and thus it is determined that DEKODB can be used as a engine to retrieve new knowledge and to implement knowledge base that is necessary to the development of automatic design system. The application field of the system, which has been developed in this study, can be expanded by supplement of the design knowledge at DEKODB and developing dictionaries for foreign languages. Furthermore, the perfect automation at the data accumulation and development of the automatic rule generator should benefit the unified design automation.

In this paper, we introduce an integrated SoC front-end design & verification environment which can be practically used in the embedded 32-bit processor-core SoC VLSI design. Our introduced SoC design & verification environment integrates two most important flows, such as the RTL power estimation and code coverage analysis, with the functional verification (chip validation) flow which is used in the conventional simulation-based design. For this, we developed two simulation-based inhouse tools, RTL power estimator and code coverage analyzer, and used them to adopt them to our RTL design and to increase the design quality of that. Our integrated design environment also includes basic design and verification flows such as the gate-level functional verification with back annotation information and test vector capture & replay environment.

There are lots of sexual images in the contemporary media, and this is due to many of the media formats, such as television, magazines, and the Internet, using these images to relay various messages to the people. The media uses these sexual images (i.e. woman in a bikini) in order to use sex and eroticism as a marketing tool to the audience. Unlike other men's magazines, which actually have many female readers, Maxim magazine's readers are made of mostly men, and because of this, their magazine covers are usually filled with sexy women celebrities, such as singers or actors; images that can attract the general men. This study puts its focus on evaluating Maxim magazine's marketing strategy. The strategy of targeting men in their 20's and 30's, who were not interested in reading, but were impulsive and visually oriented. The study looked at magazine covers from November 2002 (the start of the magazine) to October 2008 (the peak period of its sales), and a total of 72 images were analyzed. For each image, 5 things were recorded (model's occupation, clothing style, hairstyle, makeup, pose and gaze).
