고령자 주택개조 관련 제도 현황 분석 (Analysis on the Home Modification related System for the Elderly)

  • Implementing a home modification to enable elderly's safe and independent living is the key plan to realize their aging in place. South Korea in which had entered an aged society is not yet vitalized in home modification for the elderly compared to that of welfare-developed countries, and South Korea provides support that is limited to the low-income elderly. Therefore, this purpose of this study was to analyze the laws related to the home modification, the present condition of home modification support, the standards and guidelines in home modification, the support in house modification cost, and supporting organization and working force in the home modification. Through the analyzing process, this study examined the current situation and problems of institutional support in the home modification for elderly and the proposed plan for institutional improvement. The suggestions based on the results are as in the following. 1) Home modification support law(act or regulation) is required to be improved 2) Home modification support system correspondent to aging process should be provided regardless of their income levels. 3) Delicate plan standard and guideline are necessary for a process of implementing the home modification for the elderly. 4) Information on life behavior is in need for the implementation of elderly-customized home modification. 5) Cost for the home modification should be considered to cover by the Act on Long-Term Care Insurance for the Aged. 6) Housing Welfare Center and Housing Welfare Professional should be actively utilized for the home modification support institution and work force.

  • We, in this paper, design the Sugeno-models fuzzy controller by using the membership function modification algorithm and ANFIS, which are clustering and learning the input-output data. The membership function modification algorithm constructs the more concrete fuzzy controller by clustering the input-output data from the fuzzy inference system. ANFIS construct the Sugeno-models fuzzy controller by learning the input-output data from the above controller. We showed that the fuzzy controller designed by our method could have the stable learning and the enhanced performance.

  • The basic concept of 'tooth profile modification' to change a part of the involute profile to reduce the load in that area and appropriate profile modifications can help gears to run quietly and resist scoring, pitting and tooth breakage. In this study, the modification of tooth profile to make a smooth transmission of the normal loads in spur gears has been developed. The modified tooth profile has been determined by the total deflection at contact points. We use the AGMA Standard to design basic gear profile. We also developed a gear design program using tooth profile modification.

신체의 Stiffened Plate 구조물의 모우드해석과 최적변경법에 관한 연구 (Study on the Optimum Modification and Modal Analysis of Stiffened Plate of Ship Hull Structure)

  • The purpose of this study is the optimum modification of dynamic characteristics of stiffened plate structure. In the method of the optimization ,finite element method (FEM), sensitivity analysis and optimum structural modification method are used. To begin with, using FEM, the dynamic characteristics of stiffened plate structure is analyzed. Next, rate of change of dynamic characteristic by the change of design variable is calculated using the sensitivity analysis. Then, amount of change of design variable is calculated using this sensitivity value and optimum structural modification method. The change of natural frequency is made to be an objective function. Thickness of plate and cross section moment become a design variable. It is shown that the results are effective in the optimum modification for dynamic characteristics of the stiffened plate structure.

타발금형펀치의 국부 좌굴해석 및 설계변경 (Local Buckling Analysis of the Punch in stamping Die and Its Design Modification)

  • The lead frame manufactured by press stamping process, is an important part of semiconductor. The recent technical trend of semiconductor, chip sized and high performance package technology, requires the lead frame to be of more multi-leads and of fine ILP (Inner Lead Pitch). As the ILP is getting finer, its corresponding punch of the stamping die is getting narrower. The punch narrower than its stamping limit has been broken due to local buckling. This paper analyzed the phenomena of punch breakdown. Moreover, the punch design was modified to increase the critical limit of buckling force. This paper, also, suggested new design rules of the punch, which asks the modification of its lead frame design that has to be considered in the stage of semiconductor package design. The new design rules of lead frame design yields a good reliability of semiconductor package as well as a good quality of lead frame.

디자인 피쳐에 의존하지 않는 솔리드 모델의 수정 (Modification of Solid Models Independent of Design Features)

  • With the advancements of the Internet and CAD data translation techniques, more CAD models are transferred from a CAD system to another through the network and interoperability is getting a common word in the CAD industry. However, when a CAD model is translated for an incompatible system into a neutral format such as STEP or IGES, its precious feature information is lost. When this feature information is lost, the advantage of feature based modeling is not valid any longer, and modification for the model is purely dependent on geometric and topological manipulations. However, the capabilities of the existing methods to modify these feature-independent models are limited as the modification involves a topological change in the model. To address this issue, we present a volumetric method to modify the solid models in neutral format. First, this method selectively decomposes the solid model to separate the portion of interest called feature volume. Next, the designer modifies the feature volume without concerning a topological change. Finally, the feature volume is united with the original solid model to complete the modification process. The results of test cases are presented to attest the usefulness of the proposed method.

군 시설사업의 설계변경 요인분석을 위한 기초연구 (A Study on Change order factor analysis for military facility projects)

  • 설계변경은 건설 사업을 진행하는데 있어 필수적으로 관리되어야 하는 요소 중 하나이다. 특히 군 시설사업은 군 조직의 특수성과 폐쇄성으로 민간공사보다 많은 어려움이 존재한다. 발주처 내에 사업관리자와 사용자가 존재하고 있어 사업을 추진할 때, 의사소통이 원활하게 이뤄지지 못한다면 어려움을 겪을 수 있다. 의사소통의 문제가 설계변경으로 이어지고 사용자 불만족으로 표출되기 때문이다. 따라서 본 연구에서는 군 시설사업의 계약현황을 통한 특성을 분석하고 과거 시설사업의 설계변경의 요인을 분석하고, 설문조사를 통해 시설사업관련자들의 다양한 의견들을 종합 분석하여 군 시설사업의 설계변경 요인을 도출하였다. 이에 대해 실현가능한 개선방안을 제시함으로서 군 시설사업을 진행하는데 있어 설계변경에 의한 손실이 감소될 것으로 기대된다.

기능수행수준과 응답수정계수 (Serviceability Limit State and Response Modification Factors)

  • 도로교설계기준 내진설계편은 붕괴방지수준의 확보를 설계절차에 의해 규정하고 있는 반면 기능수행수준의 확보에 대한 요구사항은 명확하게 제시하고 있지 않다. 붕괴방지수준의 확보를 위해 기본적으로 제시된 설계방법은 응답수정계수를 사용하는 스펙트럼해석법으로, 기능수행수준은 설계과정에 적용되는 위험도계수와 응답수정계수에 의해 결정 되어진다. 위험도계수는 교량의 중요도에 따라 단순하게 적용할 수 있으나 중약진지역에서의 응답수정계수 적용은 설계조건에 따라 다른 결과를 갖게 된다. 이 연구에서는 중약진지역의 일반 도로교량을 대상으로 내진설계를 수행하여 기능수행수준의 결정과정을 검토하고, 이 결과를 토대로 기능수행수준의 확보와 관련하여 내진설계편에 보완해야 하는 사항을 제시하였다.

교량의 지진거동에 미치는 영향인자에 관한 연구 (A Study of influence factors on the bridge seismic behavior)

  • The earthquake resistant design concept allows the nonlinear behavior of structures under the design earthquake. Therefore the response spectrum method provided in most codes introduces the response modification factors to consider the nonlinear behavior in the design process. For bridges, the response modification factors are given according to the ductility as well as the redundancy of piers. In this study, among influence factors on the nonlinear seismic behavior, the randomness of artificial accelerograms simulated with different durations, the pier ductility represented by the inelastic behavior characteristic curve and the regularity represented by pier heights are selected. The influence of such factor on the seismic behavior is investigated by comparing response modification factors calculated with the nonlinear time step analysis.

Evaluation of performance and seismic parameters of eccentrically braced frames equipped with dual vertical links

  • Investigations on seismic performance of eccentrically braced frames equipped with dual vertical links have received little attention. Therefore, the main goal of this paper is to describe design steps for such frames and evaluate nonlinear performance of this system according to the reliability analysis. In this study, four and eight story frame structures are analyzed and the response modification factors for different intensity and damage levels are derived in a matrix form based on a new approach. According to the obtained results, the system has high ductility and acceptable seismic performance. Moreover, it is concluded that using response modification factor equal to 8 in the design of system provides desirable seismic reliability under the design and maximum probable hazard levels. Due to desirable performance and significant advantages of the dual vertical links, this system can be used as a main lateral load bearing system, in addition to its application for rehabilitation of damaged structures.
