In order to realize the benefits of ITSM, it is necessary to institutionalize ITSM into the organizational culture. Currently, efforts to routinize ITSM lack in practice, and research in this area is also lacking. This study identifies the factors affecting the routinization of ITSM through literature review and interviews with experts, selects a company that has successfully routinized ITSM, and analyses the activities, methods, and procedures employed by the company on the factors in detail. The specific factors analyzed in the study include fulfillment of the customer requirements, top management support, communication, change management, training and education, quality of the ITSM system, and capability of the personnel. Important points verified in this study is that in order to realize organizational performance from ITSM, just the adoption of ITSM is not enough, but the routinization of ITSM through continuous and systematic management and improvement with the support of top management are required. Since this study is a descriptive case study, results of the study cannot be generalized. However, the study will provide practical information that can be referenced by the organizations attempting to routinize ITSM. In addition, results of the study will provide a basis of future research in ITSM.

Recently, as the importance of IT management is increasing, many companies have adopted ITSM(IT Service Management) as a solution to various IT management issues. In addition, some advanced companies are using 6 Sigma technique in their implementation of ITSM. The main purpose of this study is to analyze critical success factors of 6 Sigma in applying to the implementation of ITSM. For a case company, which is known to be successful in applying 6 sigma in its implementation of ITSM, six critical success factors were analyzed. The factors include leadership of CEO, capability and level of 6 Sigma belts, management of accurate data, building organizational systems, training and education, and evaluation and incentive. The results of the study are expected to be used as an useful information for companies to apply 6 Sigma in the implementation of ITSM.

Objective : This study was carried out to analyze the trends of Acne related articles that have been published in the Journal of Korean Medicine Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology & Dermatology(JKOOD). Method : We studied 29 research papers relevant to Acne that published in JKOOD from 1998 to 2013. All the paper were classified into three categories; original article, review article and case report. We sub-classified the original articles into three categories; descriptive study, analytic study and experimental study. We analyzed the case report according to various types of treatment. Results : 1. The number of searched journals is 29 papers; 17 original ordicles, 4 review articles, 8 case reports. 2. Classification of 17 original articles into three categories; 10 experimental studies, 7 descriptive studies, 0 analytic study. 3. Method of Evaluation; Korean Acne Grading System(KAGS) is used frequently in descriptive studies and experimental studies. 4. Treatment in Case reports; 7 Case reports used External medical treatments. Conclusions : It is needed to develop the methods of grading system in acne related to Oriental medicine to obtain objectivity of studies. The number of analytic study, clinical trial and experimental study is need to increase.

This study is designed for helping elementary school teachers have an insight into making or choosing questions of descriptive assessment in mathematics. For this, it is analyzed 30 descriptive mathematical questions produced by Gyeonggi Provincial Office of Education in 2011 and 2012 and 3rd to 6th grade students' papers marked by their teachers in charge from 2 elementary schools located in Gyeonggi Province. The main focus of analysis is the errors of students' answers and teachers' marking not from their own mistakes but from the defects of questions themselves. As a result of analysis, 7 cases of problematic situations are induced and they are reorganized into 3 categories as follow: i) case of not performing unique purpose of descriptive assessment, ii) case of inducing the problem of fairness of grading, iii) case of leading students erroneous direction.

The purpose of this research was to investigate the descriptive evaluation method that focuses on the problem solving process of the student. The goal was to evaluate the students' understanding of the subject rather than the students' ability to find the final answer. The descriptive evaluation is being suggested as a way of examining the thought process of the student by performing a structured analysis of the problem solving process. Today, there are not enough descriptive evaluation resources available for teachers to effectively carry out this alternative assessment method in the elementary school mathematics curriculum. This research is a case study on the development of resources for descriptive evaluation in grade 4 mathematics. We designed the development process for descriptive evaluation and its rubric for all 8 units of the 4-Na level of mathematics in the elementary school curriculum. Three descriptive problems were developed for each of the 8 units for a total of 24 problems. The rubric consisted of three areas of assessment, 1) understanding of the problem, 2) problem solving, and 3) mathematical communication. The problems were first pilot tested in two 4th grade classes. Modified problems were then tested in a different 4th grade classroom. The study showed that the three defined areas of evaluation framework (problem understanding, problem solving and mathematical communication) were measurable and analyzable using the developed grading rubric. We then conclude that he descriptive evaluation could be used as an effective tool for improving teacher performance in elementary school mathematics.

Purpose: This study was done to analyze the effects of tele-care case management services using secondary data. Methods: A descriptive research design was utilized, and the participants were 134 medical aid beneficiaries who were in either the high-risk group or the preventive group. Casemanagement services were delivered by 8 care managers. Data were analyzed using PAWS Statistics 17 through descriptive statistics and paired t-test. Results: After the case management intervention, the participants' health quality of life, self-care competency, and reasonable medical care utilization increased significantly for the high-risk group. However there were no significant changes in the preventive group. Conclusion: The results showed that the tele-care case management services were effective for high-risk medical aid beneficiaries. Further studies with controls for constitutional variables and a comparison group are required to validate the robustness of the effectiveness of the case management program in the present study.

Objective : This study was carried out to investigate what type of assumption and conditions are needed for the application of various statistical techniques such as descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, regression analysis and chi-square test and to evaluate that they are used correctly in the research process. Methods : One more methods of statistical analysis were used in 91 papers among 162 papers selected from the journal of Korean oriental medical Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology & Dermatology from April 2003 to December 2005. So we analysed the type of statistical analysis method in 91 papers(clinical and experimental study) and assessed the their validity of statistical techniques by the check list consisting of 34 items(3 items for validity assessment of descriptive statistics, 6 items for t-test, 7 items for analysis of variance, correlation analysis and regression analysis, respectively, 4 items for chi-square test) Results : 1. The type of 65(40%) cases is experimental trial, the type of 55(34%) cases is case report, the type of 26(16%) cases is clinical trial and the type of 16(10%) cases is review, in 91 papers using statistical techniques among 162 papers selected from the journal of Korean oriental medical Ophthalmology & Otolaryngology & Dermatol-ogy from April 2003 to December 2005. 2. One more methods of statistical analysis were used in the experimental and clinical study. When we classified 125 units using statistical analysis methods in 91 papers according to statistical techniques such as descriptive statistics, t-test, analysis of variance, correlation analysis, regression analysis and chi-square test, the number of independent sample t-test is 33(26%), the number of only descriptive statistics is 28(22%), the number of independent sample t-test is 33(26%), the number of only descriptive statistics is 28(22%), the number of one way ANOVA is 15(12%), the number of non-parametric test 10(8%). 3. After carrying out one way ANOVA, the number of using multiple comparison methods is 15(Scheffe:6(26%), Duncan:4(17%), Dunnett:3(13%), Tukey:2(9%)) out of 23 (total case carrying out one way ANOVA). 8(35%) out of 23 did not enforce multiple comparison methods after carrying out one way ANOVA. 4. From the assessment of validity about 63 cases using statistical techniques(except descriptive statistics), 5(8%) cases are proper, the other 58(92%) are improper, so we recognized a serious misuse of statistical application in our journal. 5. The number of case below 10 sample size in experimental and clinical study(except descriptive statistics) is 31(34%) and frequent. Also the number of case containing no mention of sample size is 41(45%, including culture study). 6. For example of statistical error, there are wrong choice of statistical technique, lack of check on standard assumption(such as standard distribution, equivariance, independence), and so on. Conclusions : We investigated the validity of statistical analysis methods in our journal by check list consisting of 34 items and suggested correct statistical analysis methods. We should practice the spread of education about statistical analysis methods and precis application, enhance objectivity and reliability of our thesis and further correspond with purpose of scientific study.

Objective : This study was carried out to analyze the trends of ophthalmology related articles that have been published in the Journal of Korean Medical Ophthalmology, Otolaryngology, Dermatology(JKOOD). Method : We studied 72 research papers relevant to Ophthalmology that published in JKOOD from 1988 to 2013. All the paper were classified into three categories; original article, review article and case report. We also analyzed the articles according to the sort of diseases. We sub-classified the original articles into three categories descriptive study, analytic study and experimental study. We analyzed the case report according to various types of treatment. Result : 1. The number of searched journals is 72 papers; 21 review articles, 18 original articles, 33 case reports 2. Classification of 18 original articles into three categories; 12 descriptive studies, 0 analytic study, 6 experimental studies. 3. Distribution of diseases in ophthalmology; the percentage of 'strabismus' ranked the highest(25%) in case report. 4. Method of Evaluation in retina disease ; the percentage of fundus photography ranked the highest(50%) Conclusions : It is needed to develop the methods of study in part of eye disease. The studies using modern medical equipment should be increased in ophthalmology of Korean Medicine. It will be helpful to obtain objectivity and increase quality of studies.
