Most influenza vaccines currently in use target the highly variable hemagglutinin protein to induce neutralizing antibodies and therefore require yearly reformulation. T cell-based universal influenza vaccines focus on eliciting broadly cross-reactive T-cell responses, especially the tissue-resident memory T cell (T_RM) population in the respiratory tract, providing superior protection to circulating memory T cells. This study demonstrated that intramuscular (i.m.) administration of the adenovirus-based vaccine expressing influenza virus nucleoprotein (rAd/NP) elicited weak CD8 T_RM responses in the lungs and airways, and yielded poor protection against lethal influenza virus challenge. However, a novel "prime-and-deploy" strategy that combines i.m. vaccination of rAd/NP with subsequent intranasal administration of an empty adenovector induced strong NP-specific CD8⁺ T_RM cells and provided complete protection against influenza virus challenge. Overall, our results demonstrate that this "prime-and-deploy" vaccination strategy is potentially applicable to the development of universal influenza vaccines.

일반적으로 큐브위성용 전개형 태양전지판을 수납 및 전개시키기 위해 사용되는 구속분리장치는 비폭발식 나일론선 절단방식이 적용된다. 그러나 상기 방식은 태양전지판 수납 상태에서 큐브위성의 배터리 충전, PCB 및 탑재체의 전기적 점검 및 시험 등을 위한 접근 포트 연결 시 분리장치의 구속해제 및 재채결 작업이 반복적으로 요구된다. 따라서, 기존의 구속분리장치는 위성체 내부 접근을 위해서는 작업자의 번거로움 및 일관된 나일론선 체결작업 공정 유지의 어려움이 존재한다. 본 연구에서는 나일론 선 절단 없이 구속 핀 분리만으로 자유롭게 태양전지판 전개 및 수납이 가능한 Pin-puller형 태양전지판 구속분리장치를 제안하였으며, 기능 및 성능검증을 위한 분리장치의 전개시험 및 최대 분리하중 측정 시험을 통해 분리장치 설계의 유효성을 입증하였다.

During an emergency due to a shortage of power, a load aggregator (LA) can use the demand response operation system to deploy demand response resources (DRRs) through various demand response (DR) programs. This paper introduces the demand response operation system for a load aggregator to manage various demand response resources in a smart grid environment.

The ability to rapidly create and deploy new and novel services in response to market demands will be the key factor in determining the success of the future service provider. This goal may be approached from different directions. One of them is an open interface making the functionalities of a network element programmable and usable by outside entities. In this paper, we describe several aspects of this new, hot technical area and introduce related standard activities. In addition, we present a new switching system called MSMP (Multi-Service Multi-Plug-In), which is based on the open programmable interface concept, and describe its architecture and main functionalities of its components.

하이브리드 센서 네트워크에서 static sensor node들이 초기 배치된 후, coverage-hole을 결정하여, hole을 커버할 mobile sensor node들의 필요한 수 및 위치를 결정하고 배치하는 연구는 상당한 수준에 이르렀다. 그러나 mobile sensor node들을 호출하고 배치하는데 너무 많은 에너지를 소모하고 있다. 본 논문에서는 coverage-hole에서 mobile sensor node들을 호출하기 전에 mobile sensor node들을 최대한 coverage-hole에 가깝게 배치하여, 호출하는데 소요되는 에너지를 획기적으로 절감하였다.

The paper reviews three Split Plot Designs (SPDs) of fixed factors, and those are SPD (RCBD, RCBD), SPD (CRD, RCBD) and SBD (Split Block Design). RCBD (Randomized Complete Block Design) and CRD (Completely Randomized Design) are used to deploy whole plot and sub plot. The models explained in this study are derived from random, crossed and nested models.

Because of great damages by illegal hacking, demand for security of the public network as well as the private is seemingly limitless. This critic리 requirement is leading ISPS to deploy new security services for their customers. In this paper, we present active responses for the security of a ISP's network, and describe the deployment of a new security service using the network secured by that responses.

The purpose of this study is to analyze the structure of renewable energy market in order to deploy more renewable energy in Korea on the basis of information asymmetry between suppliers and demanders. To attain this purpose we develop the model to analyze and simulate the renewable market using system dynamics. This model is developed not to forecast the accurate size of market but to learn more structure of market using our limited data, mental model and knowledge of market.

E-business managers must make a profit on the goods and services they sell. But e-business retailers are still searching for strategies that work. To test current practices, we became 'phantom shoppers' and bought a randomly chosen set of CDs from a variety of E-business manager. Our findings suggest that order management and logistics skills are pivotal for selling profitably on the Website. In this article, we show how e-business managers can deploy resources creatively to attract the right shoppers, convert these shoppers into buyers, and improve the chances of repeat purchase while maintaining profit margins.

IMS(IP Multimedia Subsystem)는 전송 및 서비스들로부터 제어 기능들을 분리하도록 설계되었으며, 이러한 구조를 바탕으로 보장된 QoS(Quality of Service) 및 관리 기능을 수행하여 언제 어디서나 인터넷의 콘텐츠 및 텔레컴 서비스들을 접근할 수 있도록 제공하는 프레임워크 이다. SDP(Service Delivery Platform)는 기존 및 신규 서비스들을 효율적인 방법으로 전개하기 위하여 공통의 프로토콜 및 인터페이스를 제공한다. 따라서 IMS 상의 SDP는 응용 서비스들 사이의 상호작용을 단순화하여 수행할 수 있으며, 이러한 인터페이스를 통하여 기 구축된 네트워크와 신규 IMS 네트워크 사이에서 교량 역할을 수행한다. 멀티미디어 네트워크 통신을 풍부하도록 구축하기 위하여, 모바일 네트워크상에서 전개될 수 있는 후보 서비스들 가운데 대표적이며 독특한 반 이중 방식의 VoIP(Voice Over IP) 응용 서비스로 고려되는 PoC(Push-to-talk over Cellular) 서비스를 전개하려 한다. 본 논문에서는 PoC 서비스 및 구조의 장점을 조사하고, PoC 서비스 전개를 통한 실행을 통한 가능성 및 실현을 확인하기 위하여 프로토타입(prototype)을 구축하는 실질적 구현에 집중하였다.
