A Study on the Characteristics of 20th Century Women's Undergarments

  • This study aims to classify women's undergarments of the 20th century by periods, and to examine their characteristics. The research method consists of a literature study based on relevant documentary records and a demonstrative analysis of graphic data collected from each reference. The features of women's undergarments obtained from the study are as follows: First, silhouette changes of outer garments appear to influence the type and style of a new undergarment. Second, technological development results in a new type of undergarments. Third, the development of new material appears to influence functions and design of undergarments. Fourth, social changes including the development of sports affects the changes of undergarments. As seen so far, the form or type, material, and color in undergarment diversify when fashion changes become varied and rapid. As shown before the 20th century, the importance of undergarment's type, form, and function gradually reduces according to the changes of women's mind due to their social participation, although it still plays a role in correcting the shape of an outer garment based on the outer silhouette. The design also clearly shows the extremes of maximization and minimization of decoration.

학생들이 증명학습에서 겪는 어려움 (Student's difficulties in the teaching and learning of proof)

  • 본 연구에서는 중학교 2학년 도형의 성질 단원의 증명학습을 세 단계로 나누어 설문을 통하여 학생들이 증명학습에서 겪는 어려움을 조사하였다. 설문 분석 결과 학생들은 증명학습에서 증명의 의미를 이해하지 못해 명제의 참을 판단하는 정도의 간단한 추론도 하지 못할 뿐만 아니라 제시된 증명을 읽고 그것이 증명하려는 명제의 가정과 결론을 파악하지 못한다. 이는 학생들이 명제의 가정과 결론의 의미와 역할을 명확히 이해하지 못하는데서 비롯된다. 따라서 학생들에게 명제의 가정과 결론의 의미와 역할에 대한 지도에 좀 더 역점을 두는것이 필요하다.

1990년대 하위문화 스타일에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Subcultural Style in the 1990s)

  • The purpose of this study is to analyze the formative style and aesthetic value of contemporary subcultural style with the understanding of characteristics of subcultural style in the sociocultural context. As for the research methodology, literary survey has been performed to study the concept and the history of subcultural styles from 1940s to 1980s. In addition, demonstrative studies on aesthetic images have been carried out through the analysis of pictures and photographs in order to categorize the subcultural styles since 1990s. In this study, subcultural styles since 1990s have been illustrated through the socio-cultural grounds. which are diversity of street culture, diffusion of moss culture or bubble-up phenomenon, pursuit of anti-social ideology among intellectual heads, club Cultures in the form of kitsch and pastiche and communal thinking as collective harmony. With the socio-cultural context examined above, subcultural styles in the contemporary fashion are categorized and deduced following aesthetic values ; Drag and Club style as the tendency of surrealists or artificial hedonists, Urban military style and Cyberpunks as pursuit of Bionic being, Sports casual style based upon, the pursuit of comfort and freedom, Vintage style and Retro dressing represented by the spirit of DIY (no It Yourself), Ecology style of New conservatives, and Mysticism style as the fusion of technology and shamanism (Technoshamanism).

2000년대 패션에 표현된 미니멀리즘과 맥시멀리즘의 비교 미학적 연구 (A Comparative Study on Minimalism and Maximalism in the 2000s Fashion)

  • This research aims to study comparatively on the aesthetic characteristics of minimalism and maximalism in the 2000s fashion, based on the previous studies in art and design. For this purpose, literature survey and demonstrative analysis of fashion collection photographs were performed. The scope of this research is from 2000 to 2010. The results are as follows: First, the formativeness of minimalism fashion in the 2000s is analyzed as understatement, simplicity, non decorativeness. The internal meanings are reduction, purity, asceticism, transcendence and practicality. Second, the formativeness of maximalism fashion in the 2000s is analyzed as enlargement, fusion, decorativeness, luxury and avant-garde. The internal meanings are pluralism, open mind, sensibility, fun and materialism. Third, minimalism and maximalism fashion in the 2000s are opposite when compared to each other. While minimalism pursues the nature of human being by ascetic approach, maximalism does it by immersing in human affairs. Within the spectrum of these two opposing ends, there are different degrees of expressions. Also these two trends fuse with other styles. As these trends express and pursue the nature of human being, they are expected to exist incessantly in the future.

학교도서관의 디지털자료실 설치 효과에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Effect of Establishing School Library Digital Resource Room)

  • 교육인적자원부에서는 지식기반사회에서 요구하는 자율적이고 창의적인 인재를 육성하고, 제7차 교육과정을 구현하는데 있어서 학교도서관이 필수적이라는 인식 하에 "학교도서관 디지털자료실" 시범 구축사업을 추진하고 있다. 학교도서관 디지털자료실을 효과적으로 설치하고 교육적 효과를 극대화하기 위해서는 시범 운영중인 디지털자료실의 운영 실태와 교육적 효과를 분석함으로써 향후 개선 및 발전 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다 이에 본 연구는 2001년도에 설치된 96개의 학교도서관 디지털자료실을 대상으로 운영 실태와 교육적 효과를 분석함으로써 초.중등학교의 도서관정보화 사업을 효율적으로 추진할 수 있는 토대를 마련하고자 한다. 마련하고자 한다.

추구의복이미지와 의복태도에 따른 색조화장품 색 선호도 연구 (A Study on Color Makeup Preference by Pursuing Clothing Image and Clothing Behavior)

  • This study is designed to find women's makeup color preferences according to their pursuing clothing image and clothing behavior. Subjects were 515 women. from 18 years to 40 years old, who are interested in color makeup and use various products. The SPSS statistical program was used for analyzing the demonstrative results of questionnaire survey. The results of this study are as follows : 1. According to color makeup preference by the pursuing image in clothing. those groups who want to have conservative and neat image and who prefer feminine and intellectual image showed the preference of brown lipsticks and eye-shadows, while groups who want to have vivid image preferred orange lipsticks and pink eye-shadows. 2. In the case of casuals, all groups preferred pink eye-shadows and lipsticks. While those groups who want to have intellectual image preferred brown lines after pint groups who want to have sexy and vivid image preferred orange and red lipsticks and blue and green eye- shadows. 3. In preference comparison of color makeup by clothing behavior, those groups who attach practicality, symbol for social status. and social acknowledgment preferred red and brown lipsticks, and brown eye-shadows. 4. In the case of wearing casuals, all groups liked pink eye-shadows and lipsticks the best. whereas the group who want to have social acknowledgment Preferred beige lipsticks and brown eye-shadows.

패션에 표현된 가상성 (Virtuality in Fashion)

  • The purpose of this study is to review the concept of virtuality and analyze in which way virtuality is expressed in fashion. As for the research methodology, literary research was undertaken to study psychoanalytical and socioeconomic contexts in which virtuality has been formed. In addition, demonstrative studies on styles were undertaken through the analysis of photos in modern fashion magazine. With the explosive diffusion of the Internet since the 1990s, people have created a new identity in cyber space. Indeed, computers have made it possible for human beings to make virtual bodies in any way they want. Through the experiment of creating the figures that they dreamed of in their childhood buy could not embody in their actual life, people are making up for their narcissistic ego of their childhood. With the advent of the cyber society, dreams have been realized in cyber space, which in turn has influenced reality and finally had an effect on fashion. In cyber space, People try to break away from their bodies by combining elements of a different nature from them. They are dying hair and skin, and using holographic fabric for fashion, metallic color and geometric pattern for cosmetics. In pursuit of omnipotent beings, people have depicted models as flying in a weightless state and floating in the water within dress of undefined silhouette, so that they can be shown as transcending the law of nature. Furthermore, a variety of cultures newly appearing as dominant in cyber space have constantly interacted with actual life and formed an collage of heterogeneous cultures in fashion.

인터넷 기반 학교도서관 정보시스템(IBSLIS)의 평가에 관한 연구 (A Study on the Evaluation of Internet-based School Library Information System)

  • 교육인적자원부에서는 학교간의 자원공유와 상호대차 기반 조성, 단위 학교 데이터베이스 구축의 효율성 도모, 단위 학교 목록 데이터 입력 및 시스템 관리 부담 경감 등을 목적으로 인터넷기반 학교도서관 정보시스템(IBSLIS)을 구축 운영 중에 있다. IBSLIS 정보시스템을 성공적으로 구축, 운영하기 위해서는 시스템의 기능과 운영 실태를 분석함으로써 향후 개선 및 발전 방안을 모색할 필요가 있다. 이에 본 연구는 2001년도에 시범적으로 설치한 부산시교육청의 IBSLIS 정보시스템을 평가함으로써 향후 개선방안을 제시하고자 한다.

7차 수학과 교육과정 작도 영역의 교과서와 수업사례 분석 (The Analysis Textbooks and Instruction Activities of Construction Contents in 7th Mathematics Curriculum)

  • This paper analyzed <7-나> and <8-나> textbooks and teacher instruction activities in classrooms, focusing on procedures used to solve construction problems. The analysis of the teachers' instruction and organization of the construction unit in <7-나> textbooks showed that the majority of the textbooks focused on the second step, i.e., the constructive step. Of the four steps for solving construction problems, teachers placed the most emphasis on the constructive order. The result of the analysis of <8-나> textbooks showed that a large number of textbooks explained the meaning of theorems that were to be proved, and that teachers demonstrated new terms by using a paper-folding activities, but there were no textbooks that tried to prove theorems through the process of construction. Here are two alternative suggestions for teaching strategies related to the construction step, a crucial means of connecting intuitive geometry with formal geometry. First, it is necessary to teach the four steps for solving construction problems in a practical manner and to divide instruction time evenly among the <7-나> textbooks' construction units. The four steps are analysis, construction, verification, and reflection. Second, it is necessary to understand the nature of geometrical figures involved before proving the problems and introducing the construction part as a tool for conjecture upon theorems used in <8-나> textbooks' demonstrative geometry units.

청소년 소비자의 소비가치와 소비행동과의 관계 - 이동전화 소비행동을 중심으로 - (A Relationship between Consumption Value and Consumption Behavior of Adolescent Consumers - Focused on the Consumption Behavior of Mobile Phones -)

  • This study aims to offer basic data for consumer education regarding the use of mobile phones by adolescent consumers in a correct way by researching and analyzing the consumption value and consumption behavior of adolescent consumers for mobile phones to see how they use mobile phone as consumers, which is a serious of user behaviors according to their plan, purchase, use, and disposal. Based on the research results, the study proposes the following in relation to the correct use of mobile phones by adolescent consumers. First, in the purchase or use of mobile phones, a more demonstrative consumption pattern was more likely for males than females and for those who are in higher grades than those who are not. Therefore, it is necessary to offer consumer education given the gender and school year rather than stereotyped consumer education. Second, it is necessary to offer objective information and give consumer education for checking the instant desire for something new in order to prevent an impulsive purchase based upon advertisements given the characteristics of adolescent consumers who prefer new designs or functions. Third, regarding the disposal of mobile phones, it is necessary to seek strategies for recycling mobile phones usefully at an administrative level to prevent mobile phones from being thrown away without being recycled.
