CANDU 사용후핵연료 저장바스켓 설계 개선안 도출 (Design Enhancement of CANDU S/F Storage Basket)

  • 월성원자력본부의 조밀건식저장시설인 MACSTOR/KN-400의 인허가 과정에서 사고조건에 대한 바스켓의 안전성 평가를 위한 실증시험의 필요성이 제기되었다. 실증시험을 위한 낙하시험시설을 한국원자력연구원에 설치하고 바스켓 낙하 실증시험을 수행하였다. 실증시험 결과 실린더 내 적재 바스켓의 상부 용접부가 낙하 바스켓과 충돌하여 파손되고 누설이 발생하였다. 기존 바스켓이 실증시험에서 누설율 성능요건을 만족하지 못함에 따라 바스켓의 설계 개선안 도출이 필요하게 되었다. 설계 개선을 위한 방향을 선정하고 이에 기초하여 6 종류의 설계 개선안을 도출하였다. 개별 설계 개선안에 대하여 구조해석 및 시편시험을 수행하였다. 구조해석 및 시편시험의 결과를 바탕으로 최종설계안을 확정하였다. 최종설계안은 바스켓의 중앙 포스트의 높이를 감소하여 낙하 바스켓과의 충돌속도를 감소시키는 설계안이었다. 최종설계안에 대한 시험모델을 제작하여 낙하실증시험을 재수행한 결과 모든 성능요건을 만족하였다.

  • Total six units of 3kW photovoltaic (PV) system and data acquisition system (DAS) are constructed for analyzing performance of PV system at field demonstration test center of Gwang-Ju in Korea. As climatic and irradiation conditions are varied, operation characteristics of the PV system are collected and analyzed in data-acquisition system. Furthermore, not only performance test of each PV system component such as PV module and power conditioning system, but also performance of total PV system e.g. system efficiency, electric power and loss factor at the site are reviewed.

  • This research provides a scheme for Highly Accelerated Stress Test that is necessary to demonstrate reliability prediction of Korean Rapid Transit Railway Train Control System sub-equipment, which is calculated by a relevant standard for failure rate prediction of electronic products. Although determining failure information generated in the process of trial running by statistic analysis is widely accepted as a measure of confirmation for reliability prediction, this research suggests the modeling for System Life Test determined by accelerating stress factors as a measure of confirmation for reliability prediction of sub-equipment unit that is generated ahead of a trial running in System Life Cycle. Consequently, the research demonstrates sub-equipment unit reliability test, which is based on the model derived from Accelerated Stress Test, according to accuracy level and the number of samples, and conducts an official experiment by making out a reliability test procedure sheet based on test time as well.

침투도랑 시설의 유지관리 시점 산정방법에 관한 연구 (An estimation method for the maintenance timing of the infiltration trench)

  • To manage the non-point source pollution and restore the water circulation, many technologies including infiltration or reservoir systems were installed in the urban area. These facilities have many problems regarding maintenance as their operation period becomes lengthier. The purpose of this study was to estimate the optimal maintenance timing through a long-term load test on the infiltration trench as one of the low impact development techniques. An infiltration trench was installed in the demonstration test facility, and stormwater was manufactured by Manual on installation and operation of non-point pollution management facilities from the Ministry of Environment, Korea and entered into the infiltration trench. Particle size distribution (PSD), suspended solids (SS) removal efficiency, and infiltration rate change tests were performed on inflow and outflow water. In case of the PSD, the maximum particulate size in the outflow decreased from 64 ㎛ to 33 ㎛ as the operating duration elapsed. The SS removal efficiency improved from 97 % to 99 %. The infiltration rate changed from 0.113 L/sec to 0.015 L/sec during the operation duration. The maintenance timing was determined based on the stormwater runoff requirements with these changes in water quality and infiltration rate. The methodologies in this study could be used to estimate the timing of maintenance of other low impact development techniques.

  • 75톤급 기술검증용 연소기 시제의 저압 연소시험을 수행하였다. 기술검증용 연소기의 설계 연소압력은 60 bar, 추진제 유량은 243.6 kg/s이다. 그러나 국내 연소시험설비의 여건상 연소압력 30 bar, 추진제 유량 121.8 kg/s의 저압 조건에서의 연소기 작동성 및 연소성능을 검증하기 위한 시험을 수행하였다. 모든 연소시험은 하드웨어의 손상 없이 성공적으로 수행되었다. 본 시험결과는 향후 75톤급 연소기의 설계점 조건에서의 연소성능을 예측하는 기본 데이터로 활용될 수 있을 것이다.

Corrosion behaviors of SS316L, Ti-Gr.2, Alloy 22 and Cu in KURT groundwater solutions for geological deep disposal

  • Deep geological disposal using a multibarrier system is a promising solution for treating high-level radioactive (HLRW) waste. The HLRW canister represents the first barrier for the migration of radionuclides into the biosphere, therefore, the corrosion behavior of canister materials is of significance. In this study, the electrochemical behaviors of SS316L, Ti-Gr.2, Alloy 22, and Cu in naturally aerated KAERI underground research tunnel (KURT) groundwater solutions were examined. The corrosion potential, current, and impedance spectra of the test materials were recorded using electrochemical methods. According to polarization and impedance measurements, Cu exhibits relatively higher corrosion rates and a lower corrosion resistance ability than those exhibited by the other materials in the given groundwater condition. In the anodic dissolution tests, SS316L exposed to the groundwater solution exhibited the most uniform corrosion, as indicated by its surface roughness. This phenomenon could be attributed to the extremely low concentration of chloride ions in KURT groundwater.

  • The objective of this study is to investigate endurance test of localization part for T-50 aircraft engine. Major localization parts of the engine (F404-STW-102) was performed using Accelerated Simulated Mission Engine Test. The purpose of this test is to evaluate of quality demonstration capability, to verify design of engine localization parts, and to improvement safety and operation rate of T-50 advanced trainer by finding out operational problems in production phase and fixing it.

공학적방벽 현장실증 시스템 (IN-DEBS) 개발을 위한 해외 실증연구 현황 분석 (Overseas Review on the In-situ Demonstration of EBS for IN-DEBS Development)

  • 본 연구에서는 한국원자력연구원 부지 내 KURT 연구시설에 심지층 처분실증시험을 수행할 목적으로 사전 해외현황조사를 실시하였다. 고준위폐기물 심지층 처분을 목적으로 지하연구시설을 구축한 나라들을 대상으로 현재 수행되었거나, 수행이 진행 중인 공학적방벽 성능평가 시험들을 조사하였다. 주요 실증시험으로는, 스웨덴/프랑스 TBT, 스웨덴 LOT, 스위스 HEE, 벨기에 PRACLAY, 스페인 FEBEX, 일본 HORONOBE, 및 캐나다 BCE 등이었다. 각 실증시험에 대하여 시험의 목적, 시험체의 구성, 시험조건, 세부 구성도, 측정 항목, 측정기기, 및 도출된 결과 등을 구체적으로 조사하였으며, 시험결과보다는 시험목적 및 시험물의 구축방법 파악에 더 집중하였다. 왜냐하면, 각국의 공학적방벽 성능시험방법의 검토를 통해 향후 KURT에서 추진하게 될 공학적방벽 실증시설의 설계에 도움을 얻고, 다양한 성능시험을 동시에 수행할 수 있도록 하기 위해서였다. 향후 KURT 확장을 통해 공학적방벽 성능시험 터널을 확보하고, 중규모의 성능 시험시연을 추진하게 될 예정이다. 본 기술검토를 통해 이 때 추진할 시험내역과 시험체의 구성 및 크기 등의 상세 설계에 필요한 기초적인 지식을 얻고자 하였다.

  • Recently, as much supplied with new-renewable energy, as much invested in PV system. PV system consists of PV module, PCS and Monitering system, and also could be classified into the type and the capacity by installation method and cost etc. When various systems are installed in the field, it is needed to research for applying in the field and establish infrastructure in order to ensure stable efficiency and reliability. In this study, as the basic design of the demonstration test facility, it is designed the basic PV systems for each capacity to test each PCS. In addition, It is drew the climatic conditions such as insolation, temperature and the design parameters such as installation angle, shades for the local demonstration project and expected the generation of each PV system.

Computer용 Monitor에 대한 신뢰성 예측.확인 방법의 응용 (A Study on A, pp.ication of Reliability Prediction & Demonstration Methods for Computer Monitor)

  • The recent stream to reliability prediction is that it is totally inclusive in depth to consider even the operating and environmental condition at the level of finished goods as well as component itselves. In this study, firstly we present the reliability prediction methods by entire failure rate model which failure rate at the system level is added to the failure rate model at the component level. Secondly we build up the improved bases of reliability demonstration through a, pp.ication of Kaplan-Meier, Cumulative hazard, Johnson's methods as non-parametric and Maximum Likelihood Estimator under exponential & Weibull distribution as parametric. And also present the methods of curve fitting to piecewise failure rate under Weibull distribution, PRST (Probability Ratio Sequential Test), curve fitting to S-shaped reliability growth curve, computer programs of each methods. Lastly we show the practical for determination of optimal burn-in time as a method of reliability enhancement, and also verify the practical usefulness of the above study through the a, pp.ication of failure and test data during 1 year.
