The purpose of this study was to examine the influential factors on parenting guilt of mothers who use a day-care center. To achieve these research goals, the present study 1) analysed the differences in the mother's parenting guilt as the socio-demographic variables of the mother and child, and 2) examined the relative effect size of influences on the mother's parenting guilt with their parenting efficacy, satisfaction on the day-care center, emotional and informational support from teachers, and mother's active interaction with day-care teachers. The participants of the study were 350 mothers whose infants and toddlers were attending day-care centers in Gwangju and Jeollanamdo. The results of this study are as follows. First, the mothers with infants who were younger than 3 years old reported more parenting guilt than the mothers with toddlers. Second, the mothers whose children were the first child reported more parenting guilt than the mothers with children who were the second or the third child. Third, the emotional support from the day-care teacher was the most influential factor on the mother's parenting guilt. This study suggests that the mutual cooperation between mother and day-care teacher are very important to reduce the mother's parenting guilt.
This study aims to analyze the influence of bakery cafes servicescape on customer satisfaction and revisit intention, and to verify the mediating effect of customer satisfaction on the relationship between servicescape and revisit intention. This study targeted 10 bakery cafes located in Seoul, and after asking the persons concerned of the bakery cafes to check understanding, a survey with customers aged 20 or over was conducted over 10 days from March 15th to 24th 2015. A total of 250 self-administered questionnaires were distributed, and 244 questionnaires(97.6%) were used for study analysis after the exclusion of 6 incomplete and unreliable responses. To investigate the demographic characteristics of the respondents, a frequency analysis was carried out; for verification of the reliability and validity of the measuring tools, a reliability analysis and exploratory factor analysis were carried out; and for verification of the research hypotheses, simple and multiple regression analyses as well as a mediation analysis were carried out. All the data required for this study were analyzed using the SPSS 18.0 statistic program. The study findings showed that servicescape influenced customer satisfaction and revisit intention, and that Customer satisfaction had a mediating effect. Based on these findings, future marketing strategies and differentiated servicescape application methods for bakery cafes were suggested. Moreover, the limitations of the study and orientation for further research were discussed.

Speeding is an important factor in traffic safety. Speed not only affects crash severity, but is also related to the possibility of crash occurrence. This study presents results from an analysis of 27,968 speed violation cases collected from 36 red light and speed enforcement cameras at signalized intersections in the city of Cheongju. Data included details of their violation history such as speeding tickets within a recent 3-year span and their demographic characteristics. The goal of this analysis is to understand the correlation between speed violations and various factors in terms of humans, vehicles and road environments. This study used descriptive statistics and Binary Logistics Regression(BLR) analysis with SPSS 20.0 software. The major results of this study are as follows. First, speed violations occurred at rural and suburban area. Second, about 25.6% of the violators committed to more than 20km/h over a speed limit. Third, the difference between speed violators and normal drivers clearly appeared in location of intersection(urban/rural/suburban area), gender and age. Finally, a statistically significant model(Hosmer and Lemeshow test: 11.586, p-value: 0.171) was developed through the BLR.
Purpose: This study is conducted to evaluate the job stressors for opticians in Ulsan city. Methods: We investigated job stress of 180 opticians working in Ulsan. The results of this study from The Korean standard job stressors assessment tool developed by Korea occupational safety and health agency (KOSHA) was compared with Korean reference value. The questionnaire on the social, demographic characteristics of opticians was also used to find the factors affecting to job stressors by using multiple linear regression analysis. Results: Among the eight fields of stressors, the interpersonal conflict (the median value; 33.4, the measurements; men; 38.8, women; 41.5) and company culture (the median; 41.7, the measurements; men; 47.4, women; 49.3) were higher than the median value of the Korean workers. By multiple linear regression analysis, the significant factors to the interpersonal conflict were the duty, working hours, unmarried, average salary. In terms of the company culture, last school, rest day of month, job career, average salary and working hours were significantly associated to the score of company culture. Conclusions: Based on the results, important factor in the formation of a positive organizational culture through to improve treatment of opticians investigation and mutual horizontal communication systems in the workplace for the manage on interpersonal conflict and company culture.
Objectives: This study aimed to assess the concentration of perfluorooctanoic acid (PFOA) and perfluorooctanesulfonate (PFOS) in blood and factors controlling their exposure among Koreans. Methods: Study subjects were selected to include 718 members of the general population residing in five metropolitan cities and the Gangwon Province area from August 2008 to January 2009. A questionnaire was administered to investigate lifestyle, socio-demographic characteristics, and other related factors. Blood samples were collected and extracted using solid-phase extraction and anion-exchange methods, and quantified by high-performance liquid chromatograph (HPLC, Agilent 1200 Series) coupled with a Triple Quad LC-MS/MS system (Agilent 6410). Results: Geometric mean concentrations of PFOA and PFOS in the blood were measured as 1.82 and 6.06 ng/ml, respectively. Mean PFOA and PFOS concentrations generally increased with age in both genders. Blood PFOA concentration was significantly different according to such variables as age, family income, residential district, and province. Blood PFOS concentration was significantly different by such variables as gender, age, lifestyle factors such as regular exercise, alcohol consumption, and smoking status. Also, family income, hazardous facilities, job classification, and province contributed significantly to differences in blood PFOS concentration levels. Conclusions: Blood PFOA and PFOS concentrations in Koreans were similar with those found in Japan, the USA, and Germany, but less than those in Australia. PFOA and PFOS exposure seems to be affected by a variety of factors in Korea. Therefore, investigation is required for each factor to assess the relative contribution of different variables.
In modern society, there exists a growing tendency that the product image, rather than the substance of the product, is given more and more emphasis. In other words, consumers tend to purchase a product whose brand image coincides with their self image. Today, it is one of the essential factors for marketing strategy of a modern enterprise to have brand image perceived by consumer self-image. The image, by affecting the perception of consumers, explains the reason why some consumers choose one brand out of many brands that are available to them. Furthermore, brand-image perceived by consumers becomes more important factor in improving the company's market share. For this research, we investigated the theoretical background based on previous studies and collected statistical data through a market survey. The results of the actual research indicate that the attributes of the images differ notably depending upon demographic attributes; that the brand image judged by a customer is positively correlated to the customer's self image; and that the regression analysis of the purchase intention in accordance with coincidence of independent variables proved to be insignificant. But the correlation analysis of the variables shows that the sensuous image of a perceived brand image product notable differences in the purchase intention. Most of Consumers tend to prefer certain brand of causal wears in accordance with their cognized brand-image and self-image: social self-image and actual self-image. Corporate must not spare any effort to establish differential advantage. through better image or changing image. Also marketers have to identify the strengths and weakness of their brand in relation to the competition in setting up their brand management strategy. In conclusion, the outcomes of the study suggest that the consumers purchase the images of the brands, rather than the products themselves. Accordingly, in the clothes markets with similar quality levels, the emphasis should be put on differentiation of the brand images in order to further increase sales and maximize profits.
Objective: Gastric cancer (GC) is one of the most common malignancies and its mortality ranks third among all cancers in China. We previously noted that XRCC1 Arg194Trp was associated with GC risk in Western China in a study on XRCC1 Arg194Trp and ADPRT Val762Ala. We aimed to further explore the association of these polymorphisms with risk of the noncardia subtype. Methods: We enrolled 176 noncardia GC patients and 308 controls from four hospitals and a community between October 2010 and August 2011. Genotyping was performed in a 384-well plate format on the Sequenom MassARRAY platform. A self-designed questionnaire was utilized to collect epidemiological data from the subjects regarding demographic factors and potential risk factors. Results: Subjects were aged $56.8{\pm}11.8$ (mean ${\pm}$ standard deviation) and $57.6{\pm}11.1$ years in the case and control groups, respectively. Individuals carrying the XRCC1 Trp/Trp or Arg/Trp variant genotype were at significantly increased risk of noncardia GC (adjusted OR, 1.48; 95% CI, 1.00-2.17), after adjustment for family history of cancer, drinking, and smoking. The increased risk of XRCC1 Arg194Trp variant genotype was more pronounced among subjects below 60 years old (adjusted OR, 1.78; 95% CI, 1.07-2.96), compared to older individuals. ADPRT Val762Ala variants (Ala/Ala or Val/Ala) were not associated with noncardia GC (adjusted OR, 1.03; 95% CI, 0.69-1.54). Conclusions: Our study suggests that XRCC1 Arg194Trp is a genetic susceptibility factor for developing noncardia GC in Han Chinese in Western China. In particular, individuals with the XRCC1 Arg194Trp variant genotype are at increased risk for GC below 60 years old.

The purpose of this study is to examine the effect of spirituality on the quality of life in people living with HIV/AIDS. The survey was conducted with 260 people living with HIV/AIDS to analyze the effect of sociodemographic factors, spiritual experience in ordinary life, value and belief, forgiveness, personal religious life, religious/spiritual response skills and the spiritual factor of religious support. As a result of the OLS regression analysis, the income level, seriousness of illness, forgiveness and religious/spiritual response skill were found to have an effect on the quality of life of people living with HIV/AIDS. This study proved that spiritual factors as well as demographic factors strongly influence the quality of life in people with HIV/AIDS. In summary, the effect of spirituality on the quality of life was discussed and on the basis of the results, it is deemed necessary to emphasize spirituality factors to improve the mental health of people living with HIV/AIDS. The limitations of this study are discussed and future investigations envisaged.

This study was implemented to amass and analyze the data from 500 Seoul district beauty shop workers, which came from the use of the SPSS18.0. The statistical analysis was conducted through frequency for demographic characteristics, validity for factors analysis by using Varimax rotation, and reliability for Cronbach's alpha coefficient.. Also, the analysis was once again analyzed through the Pearson correlation coefficient, where our hypothesis was proven through regression analysis. Our research results have shown that, first, job satisfaction and job performance differed over matters like gender, age, education level, employment conditions, job category, overall work experience, daily work hours, and monthly income. Second, job satisfaction was shown to have a significant influence on job performance, where higher job satisfaction levels led to higher job performance. Thus, job satisfaction was a great factor to increase job performance by fulfilling their needs level. Also, they would act more positive and future-oriented when they have special needs like motivate achievement, wage, promotion, and reward. Therefore, managerial staff should continually develop any programs in order to upgrade beautician's job performance through their job satisfaction.
The purpose of this study was to investigate the compliance behavior of hypertensive patients in light of their health belief model that explains an individual's compliance with health maintenance or getting well. Although there are many effective regimens and treatments for hypertension nowadays. the most important point to be taken to consideration in their behavioral aspect is their compliance with regard to the control of body weight. eating habits as to salt and cholesterol intake. stresses. activity patterns and smoking as related to their life style. The important reasons for the failure in the control of hypertensive patients are the complexity of regimens to be complied to. irregular medication and the life long restrictions in their own life style. The compliance of patients to medical regimens and rocommendations or failure to do so is an essential factor. Accordingly. the degree of the patient's compliance is an important determinant as to the success or failure of hypertension control. The subjects for this study were 187 hypertensive patients selected from admitted and out patients of the medical department at seven University Hospitals in Seoul. Data was collected from Dec. 1, 1979 to Feb. 15, 1980 using the questionaire method and was analysed by the use of means. standard deviations, coefficient of correlations, analysis of variance and multiple regression analysis. The results obtained are as follows A. Of the seven independent variables in light of health belief model. benefit. barrier and severity are closely related to patient's compliance behavior. Therefore these variables could be used as determinants to predict and modify the hypertensive behavior. 1. Benefit is the most important and significant of the variables for explaining the dependent variables. It accounts for the highest variance of patient's compliance. (23.62%) 2. Then taking the former together with barrier. the variance of compliance showed on increase. (26.59%) 3. And with the addition of severity to the first two. the variance of compliance was also increased. (28.l2 %) B. Except for susceptibility all the independent variables such as severity. benefit, knowledge. motivation and barrier are correlated to dependent variable compliance. C. Sex. marital status and religion appeared to have significant influence on the dependent variables. Therefore one could conclude that the more the patients are aware that hypertension is a threat to health. the more they understand the benefit of taking actions to prevent such a threat. and the less they perceive any barrier when taking action. the more compliant they become in following medical regimens and recommendations. Age. marital status and religion played a significant influence to their compliance. Accordingly. the selected structural variables and demographic variables which have influenced sick role behavior of the hypertensive patient must be integrated to teaching and counselling programs for better hypertension control.
