This study aims to obtain basic data to develop clothes for dementia patients by classifying types of dementia patients. Data was collected from those dementia patients who entered a nursing home. This study analyzed a total of 221 sheets. Furthermore, descriptive statistics, cross-tabulation, and K-means clustering were performed for statistical processing using Minitab 14. As a result, dementia patients were classified into four types: inactive-dependent, active-problematic behavior, activity-autonomy, and inactive-offensive. Inactive-dependent type was a group with the most severe disability in cognitive and daily activity functions; however, they lacked behavioral and psychological symptoms and problematic behavior with clothes. Active-problematic behavior type showed the most behavioral and psychological problems and problematic behavior with clothes. Activity-autonomy type was a group without any problematic behaviors. Moreover, the inactive-offensive type had very good cognitive function toward humans. The study imply that it is necessary to provide clothes with proper functions based on the types of patients rather than providing them uniform clothes because clinical and clothes behaviors differ significantly depending on the types of dementia patients.

Objective The purpose of this study is to investigate the effect of Yanggyuksanhwa-tang on Neurogenic bladder by Frontotemporal dementia in a 65-year-old male patient. Method Patient was treated with Yanggyuksanhwa-tang. Patient's symptom was assessed Total Frequency of urination, Frequency of nocturia, single voided volume. The treatment was executed three times everyday from March, 21th to March 29th of 2018. Patient was observed from March, 20th to March, 30th. Results During 8 days of Yanggyuksanhwa-tang, patient's symptoms were evaluated by Total Frequency of urination, Frequency of nocturia, single voided volume. After the treatment, Total Frequency of urination, Frequency of nocturia decreased. Single voided volume increased. Conclusion The results suggest that Yanggyuksanhwa-tang can be a valuable option in treating Neurogenic bladder by Frontotemporal dementia.

인구 고령화에 따라 치매환자가 크게 늘어나고 있으며, 이에 따른 사회 경제적 부담이 커지고 있다. 현재 치매환자를 효과적으로 관리하는 방법은 조기에 치매 초기 환자를 파악하는 것이다. 그러나 의료진이 부족한 농촌과 섬 지역에서는 병원을 방문해서 조기 검사를 받기 어려운 문제가 있다. 이 문제를 해결하는 방법으로 본 논문에서는 원격 치매 조기 검사 시스템을 제안한다. 원격 치매 조기 검사 시스템은 환자가 실시간 화상 통신을 기반으로 한 원격 의료 기술을 활용하여 원격의 치매 전문가에게 검사 및 진료를 받을 수 있는 시스템이다. 치매 원격 조기 검진 시스템은 섬 지역의 보건지소 의료진이 사용하는 로컬 클라이언트 시스템, 영상을 전송 및 저장/관리하는 화상 서버, 원격 치매 전문가가 활용하는 전문가 클라이언트로 구성된다. 로컬 클라이언트는 환자가 보건지소의 의료진과 같이 사용할 수 있도록 함으로써 현 의료법의 원격협진 기준을 만족시킨다. 또한 전문가 클라이언트는 치매 전문가가 사용하며, 환자의 정보를 저장/관리하고, 환자의 이력 정보를 분석하고 향후 치매 진행 정도를 예측할 수 있다.

Objective: A case report on the improvement of dementia by Ortho-Cellular Nutrition Therapy. Methods: A Korean woman in her 80s was suffering from dementia. Results: Dementia improved after being treated with OCNT. Conclusion: OCNT may help alleviate symptoms of dementia.

Dementia is a syndrome characterized by a decline in multiple fields of cognitive domains. One of etiology of dementia is cerebrovascular disease. This is a case of multi-infarct dementia(MID) patient with functional mental disorders. The patient was treated with scalp acupuncture. After treatment, improvement was seen in cognitive domains.

In Korea, it is urgently required to develop the health care facilities and services for People with dementia. The progression of dementia is associated with a gradual decline in functional, cognitive, emotional, and social abilities. Therefore, architectural design for People elderly with dementia should be focused to maintain and preserve this abilities. This study aims to derive the design guidelines of the ward and patient roon unit planning to maintain this abilities in the health care facilities for People with dementia. For this, investigation and analysis through the case studies of domestic and foreign facilities and P.O.E of domestic facilities were performed.

본 연구는 인터랙티브 멀티미디어 아트 공연을 초기 치매 환자의 재활 운동을 위해 활용하고자 한다. 무대 위의 퍼포머와 관객인 치매 환자의 소통과 참여로 인터랙티브 공연이 완성되며 이러한 과정을 통해 치매 환자는 흥미와 몰입을 동반한 효율적인 재활 운동을 하게 된다. 연구를 위해 초기 치매 환자의 특성과 효과적인 운동 방법을 살펴보고 환자의 공연 관람이 참여로 이어지면서 재활 운동으로 유도 될 수 있도록 프로그램 맵을 구축한다. 관객의 참여로 발생하는 동작과 소리는 Sound Level, Pitch, Velocity의 MIDI 신호로 변환되어 실시간으로 음악과 영상을 콘트롤하는 퍼포먼스가 된다. 이를 통해 환자는 흥미를 가지고 재활 운동에 몰입하게 되며 공연의 참여자로서 성취감을 가질 수 있을 것이다. 또한 이 연구는 인터랙티브 멀티미디어 아트의 다양한 활용과 응용으로 영역 확장의 의의가 있다.

이 논문에서는 급속한 고령화 사회로 인한 노인성 치매 환자를 위한 헬스케어 서비스 연구에 대한 동향을 소개한다. 현재 우리나라는 사회복지정책이 미비한 상태이기 때문에 치매환자의 가출 및 실종 사건이 증가하고 있고 보호자에게 환자 보호를 위해 많은 노력을 요구한다. 따라서 이 논문에서는 치매환자를 위한 모니터링 서비스의 필요성을 제안한다. 웨어러블 센서를 부착하고 환자의 이동성을 모니터링 함으로 보호자로 하여금 환자의 위치 추적이 가능한 모니터링 서스템을 통해 환자의 안전성을 제공한다.

최근 노인 인구가 급격하게 증가하면서 의료시설 내외에서 환자의 안전을 모니터링하는 시스템에 대한 요구가 증가하고 있다. 센서 및 정보통신기술의 발달로 치매 환자를 위한 다양한 모니터링 시스템이 제안되고 있지만 치매 환자에게 부착되는 장치에 의존하여 단편적인 기능을 제공하는 것에 그치고 있다. 본 논문에서는 환자의 상태를 모니터링하는 스마트 기기에서부터 사용자 편의적인 UI/UX, 병원정보시스템 연동까지 포함하는 통합시스템을 설계한다. 제안된 시스템을 통해서 의료진과 보호자는 환자의 상태와 관련된 정보를 실시간으로 전달받을 수 있으며 실내외에서도 치매 환자의 위치를 추적할 수 있다.

In modern society, dementia patients are increasing due to busy daily life. Due to the nature of dementia, family members are having a hard time with their caring activities. Dementia diseases reduce the quality of life not only of the patient, but also of the family, and nursing activities lead to social problems such as unemployment or frequent turnover. This study aims to reduce the difficulty and stress of the nursing process by supporting daily life of dementia patients and nursing activities through smart care platform. Ultimately, we will reduce the cost of treatment for people with dementia and delay the worsening of symptoms through a systematic care program for people with dementia. The smart dementia care platform features smart technology to help the dementia patients' daily lives and support their caregivers.
