Demand response provides customer load reductions based on high market prices or system reliability conditions. One type of demand response, price-based program, induces customers to respond to changes in product rates. However, there are large-scale general and industrial customers that have difficulty changing their energy consumption patterns, even with rate changes, due to their electricity demands being commercial and industrial. This study proposes an in-house pricing model for large-scale general and industrial customers, particularly those with multiple business facilities, for self-regulating demand-side management and cost reduction. The in-house pricing model charges higher rates to customers with lower load factors by employing peak to off-peak ratios in order to reduce maximum demand at each facility. The proposed scheme has been applied to real world and its benefits are demonstrated through an example.

Since the natural gas air-conditioning not only increases the base load of the gas company but also decreases the summer peak load of the electricity company, it is considerded as an efficient demand-side management program. This paper suggests the economic evaluation method of the gas air-conditioning program from the perspectives of the participants, the pipeline gas company, the local distribution company, the electricity company, and the total resources. The absorption type gas air-conditioning/space-heating is selected as a case study to illustrate the economic analysis of the natural gas air-conditioning.

DSM(Demand Side Management) is reducing the load of energy supply utility through energy conservation and energy load distribution. This kind of program is necessary especially to our country which import above 97% of energy source. But the effectiveness of this kind program is not verified well even though our country is executing the various DSM programs. This study suggests M&V(Monitoring & Verification) guideline for DSM programs which are executing in Korea and shows the results which applied to verification of DSM programs.

This paper describes a measurement & verification scheme for the high efferent lighting program in Demand Side Management (DSM), which was Introduced in the beginning of the 1980's in Korea With the dramatic changes in the circumstance of power industry in Korea. It is required the reviewing for the existing process of DSM programs and the development of the new process methods/standards on the evaluation of DSM programs. To design an accurate evaluation scheme for the high efficient lighting program. In this paper, we develop an evaluation prototype for the high efficient lighting program using measurements and stipulated factors. The proposed scheme is tested by practical measurements and modified stipulated factors Results from the case studios show the proposed scheme could provide the practical performance evaluation results with promising accuracy.

In this paper, the proper rebate level can be decided in programs of energy savings by solving an optimization problem with an objective function, which satisfies a maximum value of total energy savings. And then, each prevalence amount is estimated by using virtual Bass model which is a function of rebate level, instead of the conventional Bass model. Finally, by cost/benefit analysis of the estimated prevalence amounts, the priority order is obtained for the investment of each program. The priority order obtained in this way may result the improvement of investment efficiency for DSM(Demand-Side Management) programs and the reasonable plan decision for supply and demand in power system.

Recently, The employment for the disabled vocational rehabilitation is to be a hot issue. and there is many of the proposal how to ways. But many of the disabled vocational rehabilitation is not employed and then, first of all, we have a survey about. The employment for the disabled vocational rehabilitation on chonan city of korea. And we got that. The side of company and the side of the disabled vocational rehabilitation have a many problem for the employ. and there is the need of education for employ. We want to propose to good idea good condition employment for the disabled vocational rehabilitation. With the relation program with employment and education for the disabled vocational rehabilitation, they get a good condition jog. This proposal is to be the base study for the disabled vocational rehabilitation with the employment. This study attempts to suggest developmental framework of employment innovation model to vitalize the disabled vocational rehabilitation.

한국의 전력 산업은 현재 개발도상국들의 급속한 경제성장에 의해 연료가격이 상승하고 NIMBY현상으로 인해 발전설비의 확장에 필요한 입지선정에 어려움을 겪고 있다. 이러한 현상은 설비의 확장을 통한 공급측 수요관리(Supply-Side Management)에서 벗어나 전력사용의 효율성을 향상시킴으로써 안정적인 전력을 공급하는 수요측 관리(Demand-Side Management)의 중요성을 점차 크게 하고 있다. 수요측관리는 지원금을 이용하여 전력수요를 조절하고 있으며, 수요관리의 중요성이 커짐에 따라 지원금 규모는 점점 커지고 있다. 하지만 현재 지원금 산정에 대한 구체적인 연구가 진행되고 있지 않은 실정이므로 이에 대한 연구를 통해 더욱 효율적인 지원금 산정을 통한 수요관리 효과를 극대화 할 필요가 있다. 본 논문에서는 07년도에 지원금변화에 대한 잠재참여자의 선호도를 조사한 "지원금에 대한 수용가 반응도 조사"를 이용하여, 지원금 변화에 따른 수요관리 프로그램의 잠재참여자의 참여도를 수식화 함으로써 지원금 변화에 대한 수요관리 프로그램의 영향도를 분석할 수 있게 하는데 목적을 두고 있다.

고효율변압기란 철심소재를 비정질 자성재료(아몰퍼스 메탈)나 방향성 규소강판 등을 사용하여 무부하 손실(철손)을 기존 변압기에 비해 약 70% 줄인 절전형 변압기를 말한다. 이러한 고효율변압기 및 고효율변압기 보급지원제도에 대하여 소개하고, 고효율변압기 보급활성화 방안을 찾고자 한다.

An important purpose of DSM(Demand Side Management) program screening is to determine which program or technologies seem to be most worthy of future development, given the characteristics of the particular utility system. complication found in screening DSM technologies is the consideration of cost and benefit from several perspectives : the utility, society, participants, free rider and non participant. we also consideration of spillover participant, non participant. Cost-effectiveness on these factors can be respectively specified based on net benefit analysis, and it can provide a precise description on the customer effects.

In Korea Electric Power Corporation (or KEPCO), several Demand-Side Management (or DSM) program have been carried out to effectively meet electric power demand at least costs by modifying customers electricity use patterns. As one of them, KEPCO applies low-priced night thermal-storage power service for heat appliances to facilitate efficient use of power facilities by shifting relatively high daytime demands to night hours to build loads during the off-peak periods. In the market of heat-storage type water-heater, electric water-heater has been mostly used, but it has low energy efficiency and needs high capacity electric equipments. So in order to replace these electric water heaters, 15 HP air-source heat pump water heater is developed in Korea Electric Research Institute (or KEPRI). This paper shows that measurement system for performance testing of heat pump water heater is established and heating capacity and performance is analyzed and measured for out-door environmental change.
