  • The purposes of this study which was conducted by applying three projection formulae to the data from admission quota for paramedic of the Ministry of Education & Human Resources Development the number of ambulances the number of emergency medical centers of the Ministry of Health & Welfare and rate of successful candidates of annual report of the National Health Personnel Licensing Examination Board were to find out demand and supply of paramedic from 2002 to 2045 and to expand scope of practice of paramedic in Korea. The conclusions from this study were summarized as follows; (1) The simple formulae derived from the projection formula of the Economic Planning Board were applied under the present Emergency Medical Services Act including qualifying over 3-years experienced EMT-Basic for paramedic examinee, stationing paramedic or EMT-Basic or physician or nurse per ambulance, stationing paramedic or EMT-Basic per emergency medical center and under the amended Emergency Medical Services Act including qualifying only paramedic graduate for paramedic examinee, stationing 4.5 paramedics per ambulance, stationing 10 to 2 paramedics per emergency medical center. (2) It was estimated that on the American basis of 5.6 EMTs per 10,000 in 1996, the number of paramedics under the present act will reach the basis before 2020, the number of paramedics under the amended act will reach the basis about 2040. (3) It was estimated that on the basis of 22,000 paramedics demanded from the number of ambulances, the number of emergency medical centers in 2001, the number of paramedics under the present act will reach the basis before 2015, the number of paramedics under the amended act will reach the basis about 2030. (4) There was relationship between requirements for emergency medical centers scope of practice of paramedic in the act and demand-supply of paramedic, this necessitates surveys, studies, amendment of the act, legalization for expanded scope of practice of paramedic including EMD, instructor, teacher of safety. (5) This study which includes only expanded scope of practice of paramedic and projection for paramedic in the act needs complementary studies such as decision-making process in health manpower policy and so on.

The mean of care needs of newborn babies was $4.11\pm.50$. 2. The most highest mean of physical demand of Postpartum mothers was wound care for caesarean section and episiotomy($4.53\pm.66$), and then breast engorgement care($4.38\pm.71$). • Purpose: The purpose of this study was to construct and test a structural equation model of burnout of the critical care nurses based on the job demand-resource model. Methods: A structured questionnaire was completed by 414 critical care nurses. The relationships between concepts of job stress, empathic ability, resilience, job satisfaction, compassion fatigue and burnout were analyzed. Using SPSS WIN 22.0 and AMOS 22.0 programs, the direct and indirect effects of factors affecting burnout among critical care nurses were calculated and modelled. Results: The modified model was yielded as follows: Chi-square= 216.59, GFI= .93, AGFI= .89, NFI= .90, CFI= .93, RMSEA= .07, SRMR= .06 and showed good fit indices. Job satisfaction and compassion fatigue had mediation effects between other three exogenous variables and burnout. Conclusion: The major findings of this study indicate that it is important to develop a support program for critical care nurse in order to improve their job satisfaction and ameliorate their compassion fatigue.

  • The study was designed to identify the attitude of nursing students to fundamental nursing practice through Q-methodology. A Q sample was developed through a review of the literature and interviews. Forty statements made up the finalized Q-sample. The P sample consisted of 25 nursing students in S College. Q statements were written on separate cards and were given to the 25 subjects to sort according to degree of agreement or disagreement. The Q-sort by each subject was coded and analyzed with QUANL PC Program. The analysis discovered three major attitudes, namely "type 1: passive demand", "type 2: active self-confidence", "type 3: practical application". The correlation was .213 between type 1 and 2, .409 between type 1 and 3, .379 between t ype 2 and 3. The results revealed three different types of fundamental nursing practice attitude; 1) Passive demand type: they were not satisfied with fundamental nursing practice time, the number of persons, practice machines. They presented anxiety and worry through fundamental nursing practice. Therefore, they will presenta passive attitude of clinical practice experience. 2) Active self-confidence type: they experienced pride as a nursing student and fascination as a nurse was an acquired recognition. 3) Practical application type: they practiced that fundamental nursing skill was applied their family and oneself. Therefore they had tension through initial fundamental nursing practice but they gained self-confidence and interest through practical study. In conclusion, the researchers suggest that the education program would be more effective if it was planned considering to each types of attitude of nursing students for fundamental nursing practicer fundamental nursing practice

The chronicity disease frequency have been different speciality according to medical treatment organization. On case of the first medical treatment. Diabetes and High Blood Pressure were good but Cerebrum Vascular Accident(CVA) showed many for bed case. In addition. the number of family is comparative large exception of CVA on according for moving condition and health more than the first medical treatment. However. family condition. whole family percentage is decreasing preferably through the potential resource is increasing by the number of and the construction of family. The ability of real resource is considered to be low. 3. • Objectives: The clinical document forms, a format for collecting clinical data, is the most fundamental object of standardization. Doctors must have a mutual understanding of the clinical chart. Methods: Clinical document forms were developed by investigating existing conditions in hospitals and conducting demand surveys, doing literature research, and seeking expert advice for the improvement of version 1.0. In addition, an organization of a network of 19 Oriental medical doctors and nurses, 190 patients, and users of collected and assessed data was formed to come up with version 2.0. Results: The overall format was divided into different portions that the patient, nurse, and doctor must fill out, respectively. The patient's section consists of demographic data, lifestyle details, history, and symptoms. The data to be supplied by the nurse include the patient's vital signs and anthropometric parameters. As for the doctors, they are to supply data regarding the patient's palpitation, the detailed symptoms of the patient's head, ophthalmological and otorhinolaryngological symptoms (mouth), respiration, circulatory organ and chest conditions, digestive-organ conditions (thirst), neuropsychiatric conditions, reproductive system, musculoskeletal system, skin (depilation), etc. Conclusions: Common clinical chart development is the prior question to Traditional Korean Medicine standardization. A web-based clinical document format should be developed to support diagnosis and treatment, and furthermore EMR (electronic medical record system) and EHR (electronic health record) developed. Clinical information could be shared through a network of medical institutions and be useful Traditional Korean Medicine for evidence-based medicine.
