This paper contains an introduction to industrial problems, solutions, and results conducted with the Korea Association of Machinery Industry. The client company commissioned the problem of upgrading the method of identifying global supply risky items. Accordingly, the factors affecting the supply and demand of imported items in the global supply chain were identified and the method of selecting risky items was studied and delivered. Through research and discussions with the client companies, it is confirmed that the most suitable factors for identifying global supply risky items are 'import size', 'import dependence', and 'trend abnormality'. The meaning of each indicator is introduced, and risky items are selected using export/import data until October 2022. Through this paper, it is expected that countries and companies will be able to identify global supply risky items in advance and prepare for risks in the new normal situation: the economic situation caused by infectious diseases such as the COVID-19 pandemic; and the export/import regulation due to geopolitical problems. The client company will include in his report, the method presented in this paper and the risky items selected by the method.
Stated Preference (SP) data has been regarded as more useful than Revealed Preference (RP) data, because researchers can investigate the respondents\` Preference and attitude for a traffic condition or a new traffic system by using the SP data. However, the SP data has two bias: the first one is the bias inherent in SP data and the latter one is the attrition bias in SP panel data. If the biases do not corrected, the choice model using SP data may predict a erroneous future demand. In this Paper, six route choice models are constructed to deal with the SP biases, and. these six models are classified into cross-sectional models (model I∼IH) and dynamic models (model IV∼VI) From the six models. some remarkable results are obtained. The cross-sectional model that incorporate RP choice results of responders with SP cross-sectional model can correct the biases inherent in SP data, and also the dynamic models can consider the temporal variations of the effectiveness of state dependence in SP responses by assuming a simple exponential function of the state dependence. WESML method that use the estimated attrition probability is also adopted to correct the attrition bias in SP Panel data. The results can be contributed to the dynamic modeling of SP Panel data and also useful to predict more exact demand.
The management aggravation of forests and the increase in the demand on resorts promote the urban use of forests, and the development of forests-using resorts is becoming an important political issue. Based on this understanding, this paper purports to examine the causes for the failure of the Shinrin Toshi policy (development of living space and resorts) which Japan promoted, and also examined the future direction of the development of forest resorts in Korea. As a result of the study, it was found that the Shinrin Toshi policy of Japan was promoted through the new changes of bubble economy and forest culture theory, and various strategies for the co-existence of human beings and nature were worked out. However, the policy took precedence without concrete plan production, which was found as the direct cause for the failure. The reasons for not having concrete plan production were: the target and the resort lifestyle (who will use it and what life will be developed) were not clear; the subject of the policy was restricted to state forests; and the dependence on civil capital in the promotion of the policy was too big. Therefore, in order to make the Shinrin Toshi policy successful, concrete lifestyle how the forest resort will be used and operated - needs to be set up and resources should be concretized. For this, the concrete demand on the forest resort life and the traditional community property of forest areas will have to be examined.
Consumer demand for e-commerce services has skyrocketed due to the introduction of social distancing standards and lockdown measures that countries have taken to combat the pandemic. There has been a notable surge in the popularity of on-demand delivery services, with a significant influx of new users turning to the e-platform for assistance. This research paper tries to identify the enablers of E-commerce Utility and Service Quality and establish a connection using total interpretive structural modelling (TISM). Enablers are the building blocks for providing customers with an enhanced and more consistent service experience contributing to service quality. The enablers and the linkages thus established hold valuable insights for e-commerce marketers, aiding them in effectively reaching their customers, and achieving desired growth outcomes. The TISM- based model and the MICMAC analysis identified two barriers; website design and personalization as the decisive attributes of e-commerce service quality, possessing strong driving power and weak dependence. Furthermore, the factors of reliability, responsiveness, information, and ease of use form the linkage zone, indicating that any action taken on these factors would not only influence other factors but also have a reciprocal effect on them.
This study uses daily price data on three major types of crude oil (Brent, Dubai, and WTI) and BDI from January 2, 2009 to June 29, 2018, to compare the relationship between crude oil prices and BDI for rate of change and volatility. Unlike previous studies, the correlation between BDI and crude oil prices was analyzed both the rate of change and variability, VARs, Granger Causality Test, and the GARCH and DCC models were employed. The correlation analysis, indicated that the crude oil price change rate and volatility affect the BDI change rate and that BDI volatility affects the crude oil price change rate and volatility. The relationship between oil prices and BDI is identified, but their correlation is low, which is likely a result of lower dependence on crude oil as demand for natural gas increases worldwide and demand for renewable energy decreases. These trends could result in lower correlations over time. Therefore, focusing on the changing demand for raw materials in future investments in international shipping(real economy) and oil markets and macroeconomic analysis is necessary.

This study investigated the influence of time to draw students' mental models and students' field dependence-independence on learning the particulate nature of matter with multiple representations. Seventh graders (N=295) at two middle schools were assigned to control, after-drawing, and before-drawing groups. The students learned "Boyle's Law" and "Charles's Law" for two class periods. Results revealed that the scores of a test on conceptual understanding for the two drawing groups were significantly higher than those for the control group. However, there was no significant interaction between the instruction and students' field dependence-independence in the scores of the test on conceptual understanding. In 'novelty' on a situational interest test, field independent students in the two drawing groups scored significantly higher than those in the control group. The scores for field independent students in each group were similar, while field dependent students in the before-drawing group scored lower than those in the control and after-drawing groups in 'attention demand' on the situational interest test. It was found that most students positively perceived after-drawing or before-drawing, but field independent students in the before-drawing group were more apprehensive about the activities than those in the after-drawing group.
To speed up data-intensive programs, two complementary techniques, namely nested loops parallelization and data locality optimization, should be considered. Effective parallelization techniques distribute the computation and necessary data across different processors, whereas data locality places data on the same processor. Therefore, locality and parallelization may demand different loop transformations. As such, an integrated approach that combines these two can generate much better results than each individual approach. This paper proposes a unified approach that integrates these two techniques to obtain an appropriate loop transformation. Applying this transformation results in coarse grain parallelism through exploiting the largest possible groups of outer permutable loops in addition to data locality through dependence satisfaction at inner loops. These groups can be further tiled to improve data locality through exploiting data reuse in multiple dimensions.

The purpose of this study was to analyze the expenditure state of midlife households for elderly life stage and to find out the variables that have influence upon these expenditure. The findings are follows: 1) The expenditure state was influenced by various as like wife’s age, couple’s education, number of children, husband’s retiring allowance, monthly savings, whole assets of households, level of dependence upon own children, etc. 2) The demand for economic preparation, program about elderly life, information and welfare system was related to the practical expenditure state absolutely and relatevely. The result showed that the husbands’retiring allowance was the most effective variable to the expenditure state for the elderly life. In conclusion the rational distribution of economics resources according to the family life stage is very important for the economic welfare of households.

The development of industry compared late with another area but the apartment industry in Junrabukdo has called into expansion in volume to the demand increase suddenly because the population concentrates on the cities by growth of economy rapidly. Under that conditions, the regionalism is to be strong that the degree of dependence on the first industry is to be high. But, it was care naught for the character of resident and offered a model apartment in continually that be in fashion in cities. Thereof demanders familiarized with that. There, the purpose of this work is to survey the character of apartment, aims of offer and basic material when plan of apartment in local city and rural.
Indigenous energy resources available in Korea are limited to the three major resources such as Korean anthracite, hydraulic potential and wood and straws. As reported in various reports concerning energy problem in Korea, unfortunately these three major resources are not only poor in quality but also limited in quantity. The amount of energy to be imported, which will be increased at a considerably high rate by years due to the shortage in the supply by domertic sources against the demand, is studied in the view-pint of sound and logical energy dependence upon the external sources. What would occur, if the imported energy would be exclusively limited to an energy source only, has an enough reason to be paid a significant consideration. As a result, the feasibility is discarded in favour of nuclear power plants after an extensive prospect for electric power development plan covering more than coming thirty years, i.e., up to the year of 2,000 A.D. In briefing, this paper indicates that a measures to accomodate as large amount of nuclear power plants as possible in the electric power system is not only inevitable for a sound solution of the severe energy problem with which Korea is to be confronted but also leads to the national benefit.
