During the diagnostic process of the various oral and maxillofacial lesions, we should consider the following: 'When should we order diagnostic tests? What tests should be ordered? How should we interpret the results clinically? And how should we use this frequently imperfect information to make optimal medical decisions?' For the clinicians to make proper judgement, several decision making tools are suggested. This article discusses the concept of the diagnostic accuracy (sensitivity and specificity values) with several decision making tools such as decision matrix, ROC analysis and Bayesian analysis. The article also explain the introductory concept of ORAD program.

This paper presents a method of decision on where bus splitting is needed to reduce fault current level of power systems and to satisfy the fault current constraints. The method employs a modified fault current constrained optimal power flow (FCC-OPF) with X variables for the candidate locations of splitting and for decision making on whether to split or not, it adopts soft-discretization by augmenting inversed U-shaped penalty terms. Also, this paper discusses the procedure on the adequate selection of bus splitting locations based on the results of the modified FCC-OPF, to reduce the total number of the actions taken.

To decide the type of airplane to purchase in air service agencies is a typical matter of multi-criteria decision making process. The selection of airplane type is very important because it has great impact on the budget and management of air service agency, once the decision has been made. AHP is being recognized as one of many effective methods of multi-criteria decision making processes. In this study, checklist for the selecting optimum type of light airplane to be purchased is developed by the AHP.

A novel intelligent anti-collision decision-making supporting system is addressed in this paper. To obtain precise anti-collision information capability, an innovative neurofuzzy network is proposed and applied. A fuzzy set interpretation is incorporated into the network design to handle imprecise information. A neural network architecture is used to train the parameters of the Fuzzy Inference System (FIS). The learning process is based on a hybrid learning algorithm and off-line training data. The training data are obtained by trial manoeuvre. This neurofuzzy network can be considered to be a self-learning system with the ability to learn new information adaptively without forgetting old knowledge. This supporting system can decrease ship operators' burden to deal with bridge data and help them to make a precise anti-collision decision.

Therefore, there is imminent need for development of agricultural decision support system using GIS which provides various useful informations for a more accurate agricultural policy making. Agricultural decision making processes are complex due to complicated current international political situations, and the erratic weather condition like that Elnino, flood and drought etc. Hence, global scale GIS and analytical applications has implemented for solving the agricultural problems above mentioned in this study. As the results, the executable decision process with GIS developed well adopted for the rice cultivable area estimation in the world.

Intelligent Decision System support the decision analysis process in the managerial problems with decision analytic knowledge as well as domain specific knowledge. Influence Diagram has been one of the major knowledge representation in the intelligent decision system. In the development of intelligent decision system, knowledge acquisition is also known to be difficult. This paper suggests a developing tool using an influence diagram and Verbal Protocol Analysis which facilitates knowledge acquision for intelligent decision system. An ennvironmental decision making problem is used as an illustrative example and validation of the suggested developing tool is discussed. The suggested tool is very flexible to be expanded or applied to similar problems.

본 논문에서는 산업공장 내의 생산 효율을 높이기 위하여 제조공정 자원을 예측하고 위험 관리를 효율적으로 이행하는 자원예측 및 위험관리를 위한 의사결정 시스템을 제안하였다. 각 공정에서 발생되는 다양한 정보들을 효율적으로 관리하는 세부 공정별 시나리오 생성이 어렵고, 동일한 공정 내에서도 다양한 제품의 생산하기 위해 제조 설비의 조건 변경이 빈번하다. 제품의 생산 주기 또한 일정하지 않아 연속되지 않은 데이터가 발생하여 소량의 데이터로 변동을 확인해야 하는 문제점이 있다. 이러한 문제점을 해결하기 위해서는 제조공정의 데이터 일원화, 공정 자원 예측, 위험 예측, 공정 현황 모니터링을 통하여 문제 발생시 즉각 조치가 가능하여야 한다. 본 논문에서는 설계도면 변경 범위, 자원 예측, 공정 완료 예정일을 회귀알고리즘을 이용하여 수식을 도출하였으며, 분류 트리 기법, 경계값 분석을 통하여 3단계로 의사결정 시스템을 제안하였다.

The purpose of this study was to find out the effect of fashion information source in the stage of purchase decision-making and difference by stage of purchase decision-making and difference by stage of the effect extend, and to analyze the difference by fashion information source. For this study, the data were collected through the questionnaire distributed to 337 female students from five universities. The results are as follows: 1) There was significant difference among the effect to fashion information source according to the purchase decision-making stage. At the adoption stage, fashion information source have the most effect on clothing purchase. 2) The effect of Impersonal Source in the purchase decision-making stage was gradually decreased fro the initial (awareness, interest) sage to the late stage. 3) The effect of Personal Source in the purchase decision-making stage was gradually increased from the initial (awareness, interest) stage to the late stage. 4) Addition stage was highly influenced by friend and family that was Personal Independent Source than other fashion information source. However the final selection on clothing purchase was not influenced by friend and family. 5. There was significant difference among the effect of fashion information source according to the grade. Low garde students were highly influenced by Personal Source on clothing purchase, but high grade students were highly influenced by Impersonal Sources on clothing purchase. 6) There was significant difference among the effect of fashion information source according to the major. The students a majored clothing & textile-design were highly influenced by Impersional Source. These results suggest that fashion information source was significantly different according to purchase decision-making stage and was influenced by grade and major of subjects.

스마트공장의 구현이 널리 확산되면서 IoT장비를 이용한 방대한 양의 빅 데이터를 관련성과 품질 측면에서 우선순위를 지정하여 데이터 효율성을 향상시킬 수 있는 연구 필요성이 제기된다. 원가변동성 추정, 레시피 최적화 등의 관리회계 의사결정에 있어서 빅 데이터의 우선순위를 지정하는 것이 스마트솔루션 성과와 의사결정 효과를 향상시킬 수 있는지를 규명함이 본 연구의 목적이다. 제조데이터를 실시간으로 연계한 ERP, MES 등의 스마트솔루션을 운영하는 국내 중소제조업체 의사결정자 84명의 설문답변을 토대로 경험적 연구 수행 결과, 빅데이터우선순위 설정은 관리회계 의사결정에 긍정적인 영향을 미치는 것으로 분석되었다. 아울러 빅 데이터 우선 순위 지정은 관리회계 의사결정에서 빅 데이터를 사용함으로써 스마트솔루션 성과에 간접적인 영향을 미치는 매개 효과가 있음을 발견하였다. 연구결과를 통하여 경영의사결정과정에서 빅 데이터 간의 연관성을 평가하는 척도를 개발함에 선행연구로서의 기여를 할 수 있을 것이다.
