블라인드를 고려한 여름철 소규모 사무소 건물의 냉방 및 조명에너지 평가 (The Summer Cooling and Lighting Energy Performance Evaluation of Small Office Buildings with Venetian Blinds)

  • The daylighting control system has to be applied to prevent the excessive incident daylight and reduce energy use. As the one of the most useful daylighting control systems, the blind system is simple and easy to install on the window for small office buildings. This study aims to evaluate the summer energy performance of small office buildings by venetian blinds and energy saving strategy of ministry of knowledge economy in korea. For the study, the simulations have been executed on blind installation conditions and lighting control methods. As results, the energy loads cut down 22 to 25(%) by using blind energy. Also, the efficient shows high on EMS system and low on $45^{\circ}$ slat angles. Also, using energy saving strategy can reduce about 13(%) energy load.

LFLP와 DBLP 자연채광시스템의 성능평가 비교 연구 (Performance Comparison Study on LFLP and DBLP Daylighting System)

  • 본 논문에서는 자연채광 시스템 LFLP(Linear Fresnel Light Pipe)와 DBLP(Double Blind Light Pipe)시스템을 비교하였다. LFLP시스템은 평행한 빛을 선형프레넬렌즈를 이용하여 선형 형태로 빛으로 집광하여 자연채광에 이용하는 시스템이며, DBLP시스템은 베네시안 형태의 블라인드를 이용하여 빛을 반사시켜 자연채광에 이용하는 시스템이다. DBLP시스템은 LFLP시스템을 개선한 것으로 시스템 앞쪽에 위치한 블라인드는 태양의 고도에 따른 빛을, 뒤쪽에 위치한 블라인드는 태양의 방위각에 따른 빛을 변광부로 반사시키도록 설계 되었다. DBLP시스템의 변광부는 콘모양으로 이루어 져 있으며 블라인드에 의해 반사된 빛을 산광부로 보내주는 역할을 하며, 산광부로 들어온 빛은 실내조명에 사용된다. 따라서 맑은날(clear sky)을 기준으로 두 시스템의 효율을 비교하면 DBLP시스템이 LFLP시스템보다 세배 높게 나오는 것으로 나타났다.

Photopia를 이용한 추적식 디쉬형 집광기의 배광분포 분석 및 자연채광 성능 예측 (A Computational Analysis on Candela Distribution Curves and Performance Prediction of a Fiber Optic Dish Daylighting System by Photopia)

  • A set of candela distribution curves(CDCs) were generated for a fiber optic dish daylighting system by Photopia under clear sky conditions at different solar altitudes. The candela distribution curves were then exported to Radiance for photometric analysis of a windowless lecture room. Observations were made on the Radiance rendered illuminance images, which provided photo realistic scenes varying with solar altitudes. If no tracking error were assumed, the daylight collection efficiency of the system remained at a constant value of 68.4% during its operation. Higher the solar altitude angle, greater in photometric quantities were observed, which are represented by candela(cd) and total lumens(lm). In all cases considered, however, the angle of light distribution remained fixed reflecting the solar tracking feature of the system. The illuminance uniformity on the workplane lingered around 0.12, which is quite low. This is quite a contrast to its average value of 0.68 of the $2.7m^2$ area directly below the terminal device (diffuser) of the system. The maximum illuminance of 1,340lux was obtained at a solar altitude of 80 degrees.

자연채광용 박막 투광형 BIPV 창호의 발전특성 분석 연구 (Performance characteristics of building-integrated transparent amorphous silicon PV system for a daylighting application)

  • The first grid-connected, building-integrated transparent amorphous silicon photovoltaic installation has been operated since October 2004 in Yongin, Korea. The 2.2kWp transparent PV system was applied to the facade of entrance hall in newly constructed KOLON E&C R&D building. The PV module is a nominal 0.98m ${\times}$ 0.95m, 10% transparent, laminated, amorphous(a-Si) thin-film device rated at 44 Wp per module. To demonstrate the architectural features of thin film PV technologies for daylighting application, transparent PV modules are attached to the building envelope with the form of single glazed window and special point glazing(SPG) frames. Besides power generation, the 10% transmittance of a-Si PV module provides very smooth natural daylight to the entrance hall without any special shading devices for whole year. The installation is fully instrumented and is continuously monitored in order to allow the performance assessment of amorphous silicon PV operating at the prevailing conditions. This paper presents measured power performance data from the first 12 months of operation. For the first year, annual average system specific yield was just 486.4kWh/kWp/year which is almost half of typical amorphous silicon PV output under the best angle and orientation. It should be caused by building orientation and self-shading of adjacent mass. Besides annual power output, various statistical analysis was performed to identify the characteristics of transparent thin film PV system.

투과체에 적용된 채광방식이 사무소공간의 색도 및 색온도분포에 미치는 영향 분석 (Effect of Glazing Systems on Chromaticity and Color Temperature in the Office Room)

  • 투과체는 기본적으로 외부환경과 접촉할 수 있는 친화적이고 생태학적인 기능을 가지고 있으며, 이를 통해 유입되는 빛은 실내공간에 다양한 분위기를 연출할 수 있도록 해준다. 이에 본 연구는 투과체가 적용된 사무소건물을 대상으로 채광유입을 증대시킬 수 있는 채광방식을 설계하여 적용 시 실내의 색도와 색온도에 미치는 영향을 분석하였다. 이를 위하여 1/10축소모형을 제작하였으며, Prometric 1421이라는 측정기기를 이용하여 실험을 수행하였다. 측정결과 투과체가 갖는 파장대별 투과특성이 실내의 색도에 영향을 미치는 것으로 나타났으며, 빛의 유입을 증대시키는 채광방식을 설치할 경우 천정면의 색온도에 많은 영향을 주었으며, $5{\sim}20[%]$정도의 색온도를 증가시키는 것으로 나타났다. 따라서 채광시스템을 설치할 경우 활동적인 분의기의 공간이 연출될 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

  • In this paper, the performance of Hybrid Dimming control system for Daylighting system is evaluated by accredited tests. The system controls the balance of illuminance of daylight between daylight system and LED light system. It makes the normal illuminance of interior without the effects of weather by controlling the LED depending on the brightness of outside. For the tests, 6 diffusers($600{\times}300mm$) were installed in lighting area($36m^2$) and normal operation of the system sensors were tested about the interference of sunlight. The results of the examinations were satisfied with the criteria of accredited tests. Further research is the verification of energy saving effect by comparing the Hybrid Dimming control system to current artificial light system.

  • Recently, various kinds of daylight system are recognized as an important and useful strategy in energy-efficient building designs. However, a large amount of direct sunlight can make many problems. Therefore, it is necessary to control daylighting through louver systems for high quality visual environment. The purpose of this study is to analyze daylighting performance in the reading room of a library according to different azimuths and louver systems. The results evaluated daylight performance based on the RADIANCE lighting software.

  • 최근 공동주택의 지하주차장공간들은 지하공간에 위치한 문제를 차치하고도 많은 다양한 환경적 문제를 가지고 있음에도 불구하고 충분치 못한 공간으로 건축되었다. 이 연구는 스케일모델 측정으로 통하여 지하주차공간의 일광채광정도를 살펴보았다. 결과적으로 4%정도의 개구율에서 기준 조도수준에 미치는 적정한 량의 일광이 채광됨을 알 수 있었다.

  • To optimize a heating and cooling system, we need an exact solution lot radiant heat transfer in any form of room or building. This paper describes the solution method of view factor by the area weighted average and graphical method to calculate the radiant heat exchange or daylighting level in any form of room or building. This study shows that the area weighted average and graphical methods have many points of merits(calculation speed, correctness and calculation capability in an arbitrary form of room shapes etc.) compared with existing methods
