The Momentum Strategy of Small Foreign Investors in the Indonesia Stock Exchange

  • This research aimed to analyze the momentum strategy of foreign investors with the smallest trading transactions in the Indonesian stock market. This study applied a quantitative method approach using intraday transaction data of companies listed on the LQ-45 Index for March, April, and May 2017, obtained from the Indonesia Capital Market Institute (TICMI) which is a subsidiary of the Indonesia Stock Exchange (IDX). The number of companies with available data is 35 companies, consisting of 23 non-government stocks and 12 government stocks. The number of observations from the 35 companies was 8,686,030 observations where the government companies recorded 2,751, 545 and the non-government companies 1,387,016 observations. All data was then squeezed and grouped into small, medium, and large trade transaction orders. The data analysis method used was paired t-test with SPSS to analyze cumulative abnormal returns in the formulation and test periods. This study found that small foreign investors carried out momentum strategies on stocks listed on the LQ-45 Index. However, re-testing was done by separating government and non-government shares. It turned out that small foreign investors performed a momentum strategy on non-government and a contrarian strategy on government.

Missy Brand 의 고아고 크리에이티브 전략에 관한 연구 - ELLE 광고를 중심으로- (A Study on Creative Strategy Related to Expression Advertisement for Missy Brand- Focused on ELLe's Advertisement)

  • This study intended to provide the visual basic data of efficient fashion advertising for Missy Brands in the 21 th by investigating and analyzing the creative strategy related to expression of fashion advertisement. The Research methdologies were as follow. First, the change of domestic advertising industry, theoretical background of the creative strategy and the condition and problems in the domestic Missy market were studied through the relevant fashion advertisement and periodical publications. Second, the content analysis was done using the advertisement of Missy Brands in Fashion magazine, " ELLE" which were published from 1992 to 1998. (3/6/9/12). The results were summarized as follows: First, the ELLE's analysis results were to increase in number of the advertisements for the teenager Brand fro 1993 and for the I.B.(Imported Brand) or L.B(License Brand) from 1995. As a result of the analyses, we suppose that a number of advertisements are proportional related to the sales of Brands. Second, the re were significant differences between D.B. (Domestic Brand) and I.B(Imported Brand) or L.B.(License Brand ) in the change of creative strategy for Missy Brands advertisements. The creative strategy of D.B. ads was used more importantly in linsuistic message than in visual message. On the contrary, the creative strategy of I.B.(L.B) ads, attached importance to the visual message(photo). Third, the ads of TIME showed ads, effect to have relevance to sales. The creative strategy of TIME ads. appeals to consumer for consistent Brand image, at the same time reflects the distinctive Brand image from the other. This study was suggested the creative strategy change of TIME through the visual data base.data base.

An Improved Adaptive Scheduling Strategy Utilizing Simulated Annealing Genetic Algorithm for Data Center Networks

  • Data center networks provide critical bandwidth for the continuous growth of cloud computing, multimedia storage, data analysis and other businesses. The problem of low link bandwidth utilization in data center network is gradually addressed in more hot fields. However, the current scheduling strategies applied in data center network do not adapt to the real-time dynamic change of the traffic in the network. Thus, they fail to distribute resources due to the lack of intelligent management. In this paper, we present an improved adaptive traffic scheduling strategy utilizing the simulated annealing genetic algorithm (SAGA). Inspired by the idea of software defined network, when a flow arrives, our strategy changes the bandwidth demand dynamically to filter out the flow. Then, SAGA distributes the path for the flow by considering the scheduling of the different pods as well as the same pod. It is implemented through software defined network technology. Simulation results show that the bisection bandwidth of our strategy is higher than state-of-the-art mechanisms.

  • 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서 이동 사용자는 무선 통신망의 협소한 대역폭을 효율적으로 사용하기 위하여 자주 사용하는 데이타를 자신의 캐쉬에 저장하여 사용한다. 이동 트랜잭션의 정확성을 보장하기 위하여 캐쉬 데이터는 서버에 있는 데이타와 일관성이 유지되어야 한다. 이 논문은 비동기적 방송을 하는 이동 컴퓨팅 환경에서 이동호스트의 이동으로 인하여 이동호스트가 캐쉬한 데이터가 서버에 있는 데이타와 일관성이 위배될 때, 효율적으로 캐쉬 일관성을 유지하도록 하는 새로운 정책을 제안한다. 이 정책은 갱신율이나 갱신 패턴이 변하여도 무효화되는 데이터의 개수에 영향을 받지 않으며, 전송하는 무효화 메시지의 량은 항상 일정하고 상대적으로 작다. 따라서, 무선망의 협소한 대역폭을 향상시키고 통신 비용을 감소시킨다.

  • Purpose This study exploratory investigated the effects of the fit between forms of knowledge management(KM) strategy and types of information technology(IT) capability on the kinds of innovations such as product and process innovations. In this study, the openness of innovations that affects the innovations of a firm is considered. Design/methodology/approach For this empirical study, 104 manufacturing firms' data were finally collected through field survey. For the analysis of the data, cluster analysis and multiple regression analysis were employed. Findings This study demonstrated that when a system-oriented KM strategy is adopted, IT flexibility, which supports the implementation of a system-oriented strategy, is highly employed and utilized. It was also found that under a dynamic KM strategy, both IT integration and IT flexibility are highly employed. For the innovation of a firm, it was found that when a system-oriented strategy is employed and the flexibility of IT is highly adopted, the levels of product innovation are enhanced. Under a dynamic strategy, when the degrees of IT integration and IT flexibility are high, high levels of product and process innovations were empirically found. The impact of innovation openness on the innovations of a firm were partially demonstrated. Finally, the positive impact of the innovations on the improvement of performance in manufacturing firms were demonstrated.

An Investigation of Cognitive and Metacognitive Strategy Use in EFL Reading Comprehension Test Performance: Focused on Trait Strategy Use vs. State Strategy Use

  • This study reports on the use of the trait and state cognitive/metacognitive strategy use and the difference of the trait/state strategy use according to students' proficiency level. First of all, for checking up the trait strategy use, 119 first-grade male students in a high school completed the questionnaire on strategies which they thought they used during a reading test. Secondly, to find out their state strategy use, students took a fifteen-item reading comprehension test, followed by filling out questionnaires on cognitive and metacognitive strategies used in the test. This study employed quantitative data analysis. The results suggested that (1) the cognitive and metacognitive strategy use in the trait and state conditions are used the most by the high proficiency group and they are correlated respectively; (2) these strategies are used with statistically significant difference according to students' proficiency level, especially to the lower level students. The highly successful group uses the cognitive and metacognitive strategy in the actual test situation more than the lower proficient group; there is no difference in trait and state strategy use.

국내 병원의 전략에 관한 인식과 구성요소 및 질 수준 평가 (Evaluation on Perception, Elements and Quality of Business Strategy in Domestic Hospitals)

  • The purpose of this study is to evaluate of the perception, elements and quality level of business strategy in domestic hospitals. We analyze survey data about strategy. Significantly, we find that domestic hospitals were greatly feeling about the necessity and importance of strategy, but elements and quality level of actual execution strategy is much lower. When evaluating level on the perception, elements and quality of strategy within each of Miles and Snow's strategy type, PA(prospector+analyzer) was higher than DR(defender+reactor). And result of structural equation modeling(SEM), elements had a significant influence on the quality of the strategy, a positive relationship between the components and the PA have been identified. Therefore, we propose that to increase the elements level in order to improve the quality level of strategy, and hospital administrators are need to be PA rather than DR.

Efficient Multimedia Data File Management and Retrieval Strategy on Big Data Processing System

  • The storage and retrieval of multimedia data is becoming increasingly important in many application areas including record management, video(CCTV) management and Internet of Things (IoT). In these applications, the files containing multimedia that need to be stored and managed is tremendous and constantly scaling. In this paper, we propose a technique to retrieve a very large number of files, in multimedia format, using the Hadoop Framework. Our strategy is based on the management of metadata that describes the characteristic of files that are stored in Hadoop Distributed File System (HDFS). The metadata schema is represented in Hbase and looked up using SQL On Hadoop (Hive, Tajo). Both the Hbase, Hive and Tajo are part of the Hadoop Ecosystem. Preliminary experiment on multimedia data files stored in HDFS shows the viability of the proposed strategy.

기업 마케팅 전략을 위한 SNS 및 Web 데이터 분석 시스템 설계 (A Design of SNS and Web Data Analysis System for Company Marketing Strategy)

  • 본 논문에서는 기업 이미지에 타격을 줄 수 있는 부정적인 SNS와 Web 데이터를 빠르게 분석하여 기업 마케팅 전략에 활용할 수 있는 SNS 및 Web 데이터 분석 시스템을 제안한다. 본 논문에서 제안하는 시스템은 SNS 및 Web Data를 수집하는 데이터 수집 모듈(Data Collection Module), 수집된 데이터를 저장하는 HBase 모듈(Hbase Module), 수집된 데이터의 의미 분석을 수행한 후 데이터의 의미를 평가 및 분류하는 데이터 분석 모듈(Data Analysis Module) 그리고 관리자에 의해 요청된 질의어에 따라 기업과 관련된 SNS와 Web데이터를 이용하여 최적화된 Map Reduce 과정을 수행하는 PSH 모듈(Priority Scheduling Hadoop Module)로 구성된다. 본 논문은 이런 모듈들을 통하여 SNS와 Web 데이터를 보다 효율적으로 관리하여 이 분석 결과를 기업 마케팅 전략에 활용할 수 있다.

아동의 상위기억과 책략훈련에 관한 연구 (Effects of Metamemory and Mnemonic Strategy Training on Children's Performance)

  • The present research studied the effectiveness of specific strategy training in memory awareness on children's memory performance. The subjects were 60 children, 30 six-year-olds and 30 eight-year-olds. Free recall scores and use of a rehearsal strategy (exposure durations) based on Belmont & Butterfield (1971) were used to measure children's performance in three memory tasks. All subjects were randomly assigned to one of three experimental groups: the control group with no training, the chunking and rehearsal strategy training group, and the chunking and rehearsal strategy training combined with memory awareness strategy. The data were analyzed with two-way ANOVA, three-way ANOVA with repeated measures, and Student-Newman-Keuls post hoc test. There were significant differences among the three groups both in the free recall score and in the use of the rehearsal strategy. The mnemonic strategic training with memory awareness strategy was the most effective on both free recall and use of rehearsal strategy. The effects of the mnemonic strategy training with memory awareness strategy were more effective for the 8-year-olds than the 6-year-olds.
