본 연구는 각 프로세스가 조직에 미치는 상대적 영향을 고려한 조직 전체의 효율성을 평가하고, 조직의 효율성을 개선하기 위하여 조직을 구성하는 여러 프로세스 중에서 어떤 프로세스를 우선적으로 개선해야 하는지를 결정하며, 더 나아가 비효율적인 프로세스를 개선하기 위하여 어떤 프로세스를 벤치마킹해야 하는지를 결정할 수 있는 체계적인 방법을 제공한다. 이를 위하여 본 연구는 다음과 같은 중요한 세 가지 과정을 따른다. 첫째, DEA(data envelopment analysis)의 CCR 모형을 이용하여 프로세스의 투입요소와 산출 요소를 바탕으로 개별 프로세스의 효율성을 평가한다. 둘째, 도출된 개별프로세스의 효율성을 Lovell과 Pastor의 순수 산출요소(또는 투입요소) DEA 모형의 산출요소로 이용하여 서비스 단위 조직 전체의 효율성을 평가한다. 셋째, 앞서 도출된 개별프로세스의 효율성과 서비스 단위 조직의 전체 효율성을 각각 DT(decision tree)의 예측변수와 목표변수로 활용하여 각 서비스 단위 조직의 특성 및 상황에 따라 개선해야 할 프로세스를 선택하는 규칙을 생성한다. 제안한 방법을 통하여 기업은 비효율적 조직과 프로세스를 발견하고 조직의 효율성을 개선하기 위하여 어떤 프로세스를 우선적으로 개선해야 하는지를 결정할 수 있다. 이를 통하여 기업은 오늘날 기업 경쟁력의 핵심인 프로세스를 좀 더 효과적으로 평가 및 관리할 수 있을 것으로 기대된다.

본 논문에서는 DEA 기법을 이용하여 고객들이 이동통신사를 선정하기 위한 모텔을 제안하였다. 소비자들은 이동통신사를 선정함에 있어 여러 가지 기준들에 의한 합리적인 의사결정을 내리기가 용이하지 않다. 본 논문에서는 다기준 의사결정방법들 중 정성적인 평가요소들을 기준으로 대안의 효율성을 고려한 DEA 기법을 활용하여 소비자들의 이동통신사 선정에 도움을 주고자 하였다.

We proposed a new real estate price appra isal model that can appreciate the efficiencies of each criteria that would affect the price. The proposed Real Estate Price Appraisal Model is developed by the DEA-AR model which enhances the DEA-CCR model. We used the unit-cost per criteria method to set the assurance region of each weights of the DEA-AR model. In order to estimate the unit cost of major criteria effecting the price of real estate, we used the Goal Programming so that the price of real estate reaches the actual price being traded in. We expect that this approach could be helpful to make an objective real estate price appraisal.

펀드의 성과 평가는 펀드선택 의사결정시 가장 중요한 고려요인이다. 전통적인 펀드 성과평과 지표인 샤프비율이나 트레이너 비율은 운용비용과 거래비용 등과 같은 다양한 요소들을 반영하지 못하고 있다. 펀드의 여러 수익과 비용요인들을 반영하기 위해, 본 연구에서는 DEA를 이용하여 펀드의 상대적인 효율성을 측정하였다. 분석자료는 2005년 12월 31일까지 국내에 존재하는 3년 이상 운용된 67개의 장기펀드를 대상으로 분석하였다. 입력변수는 비용과 관련된 총 보수율, 월수익률의 표준편차, 펀드 규모를 나타내기 위한 평균설정좌수를 이용하였고 출력변수는 이익과 관련된 예상 월평균수익률과 시장포트폴리오의 월수익률을 상회한 기간의 비율을 사용하였다. 본 연구결과, DEA를 통해 수익률만으로는 평가할 수 없는 펀드의 운용능력을 평가할 수 있었다.

This paper investigated the efficiency of automobile firms by using several non-parametric approaches. First, using Data Envelopment Analysis (DEA), the paper has investigated the critical factors that determine the relative efficiency of management performance in automobile companies. Second, we examined how the firm size impact on the difference of this efficiency by using Kruskl-Wallis Test. Third, by using Mann-whitney test, we also investigated the difference of the efficiency accoss existence of technological innovation activity. Finally, the paper explored the relationship between technological innovation and management efficiency by using logistic regression model. The findings of this study provided practical information for inefficient automobile firms to find benchmarking firms and strategic position to improve their efficiency. The result also provided theoretical and methodological implications for those who explore factors affecting management efficiencies. Future research directions with the limitation of the study are discussed.

DEA 모델중 널리 사용되는 교차평가모델(cross efficiency model)은 가중치에 제한을 두지 않고 어떤 특정분야에 탁월한 성과를 내는 DMU(Decision Making Unit)보다는 보다 전반적인 분야에서 두각을 나타내는 DMU를 선발함으로써 많은 연구자들이 DEA문헌에서 적용하여 왔다. 본 연구에서는 이러한 교차평가모델이 실제에 있어서는 암묵적으로 고정 가중치를 사용한다는 것과 동일한 결과를 나타낸다는 것을 분석적으로 밝혔다(one input, multi output case). 또한 multi-input, multi-output case의 경우에도 overall performer의 cluster에 근접한 대다수 DMU의 경우에는 고정 가중치를 사용한 경우와 거의 차이가 없음을 보였다. 교차평가 모델에 적용된 변수의 가중치를 보다 명확히 함으로써 연구자들이 모델의 평가결과를 이해하는데 도움이 될 수 있을 것이다. 또한 교차 평가의 가중치 도식을 더 명확히 보여주기 위해 biplot을 제안한다.

As well as the development of the measurement of service quality, various kinds of service measurements are also being developed. Especially the mobile telecommunication service being representative to the mobile telecommunication company would be the mostly developed area. Its development can be understood along with the development of the telecommunication companies as well as cellular companies, not only the service alone. It is a differentiated phenomenon in the current research, such as the organic influence between the service quality and product. Of course there are such products placed on sale and enjoyed the common service, but at present there is another case that the product is on the market exclusively with the mobile company in here. This article is to estimate service efficiency for Mobile Communication and Cellular company. In this paper, We tried to measure the service quality and overall satisfaction by using Data Envelopment Analysis(DEA), degree of combination and top2box which is a little bit different methodology from traditional ones. This paper uses CCR model in DEA to measure service efficiency in the Mobile Communication.

In recently, the influence of client-server systems on organizations and how to estimates the efficiency or productivity of organizations and departments has come to be more concerned by many researchers. Especially, information systems(IS) of the financial institutions are greatly used than any other industries. Therefore, the efficiency of IS departments in financial institutions is relatively important. The overall objectives of this research are to estimate the effects of client-server systems and to evaluate whether the client-serve systems really improve the efficiency of information system. The research method used in this research is DEA(Data Envelopment Analysis) estimation method which based on linear programming is used for the efficiency of managerial organizations and other nonprofit organizations. The results of this research showed that the efficiency of IS department was promoted after implementation of client-server systems.

본 연구는 Charnes, Cooper와 Rhodes에 의하여 고안된 DEA기법을 이용하여 서울지역에 소재하고 있는 지역신용협동조합의 운영효율성을 평가하였다. 여기에서는 금융기관은 금융서비스를 제공하는 생산체로 보아 예수금은 산출물로 취급하여, 투입물은 직원수 영업장의 면적(또는 업무용부동산), 경비 등으로 하고, 산출물은 신규예금취급건수, 신규대출건수, 예수금기말잔액, 대출금기말잔액, 영업이익 등으로 하여 DEA모형의 데이터로 사용하였다. DEA에 의한 연구 결과는 기존의 경영평가방법이 제공할 수 없는 유용한 정보를 제공하고 있으며, 이러한 정보를 이용하여 투입물과 산출물을 효율적으로 관리할 수 있다는 것을 보여 준다. 그러므로 DEA에 의한 분석정보와 기존의 경영평가방법에 의한 정보를 적절하게 사용하면 조합들의 운영효율성을 개선하는 데 도움이 될 것이다.

This study uses data envelopment analysis(DEA) to examine the relative efficiency in the production of research of 414 Korean universities utilizing the Ministry of Education, Science and Technology Report(MESTR) focusing on the 2009. This study has examined DEA and how it measures the efficiency of university units. This study has also useful suggested various approaches to advance efficiency and can provide substantial guidance for increasing the competitiveness between universities, through identifying problematic areas with the input factors and by doing so improving the output factors.
