WWW을 활용한 디자인과 색채 기호 조사에 관한 연구 (A Study on Design and Color Preference Investigation using WWW)

  • 다양한 라이프스타일을 추구하는 소비자의 니즈(needs)는 첨단 컴퓨터 기술을 활용한 디자인 연구과정의 개발을 통하여 체계적으로 파악될 수 있다. 특히 제품 디자인의 가장 중요한 요소인 색채는 그 복합적 특성으로 인하여 정확한 정보를 파악하여 분석하는 것이 어려웠다. 본 연구에서는 WWW을 이용한 디자인과 색채 기호조사 방법을 개발하고, 이의 실험을 통하여 시간적, 경제적, 지역적 한계를 지닌 기존의 색채조사 방법을 보완할 수 있는 새로운 디자인 연구방법의 가능성을 제시하고자 한다. 이는 기존의 언어적이고 추상적인 색채조사를 구체적 제품의 3D 모델링을 이용한 시각적이고 구체적인 색채 조사로 대체함으로서, 보다 신뢰도가 높은 정보의 획득과 분석을 가능하게 한다는 점에 연구의 의의가 있다.

Bass 모형을 이용한 인터넷에서의 기술 확산에 대한 실증분석 (An Empirical Study of Technology Diffusion on the Internet using Bass Model)

  • The Internet possesses not only features of mass media but also features of word of mouth communication. Communication channel is considered as one of most important variables in diffusion process. In this paper, we examined functionality of technology diffusion on the Internet through the use of meta tags. We have measured the coefficients of the Bass diffusion model which has been well-established in new product diffusion. This research shows that the Bass model is appropriate for describing technology diffusion on the Internet. The external influence as represented by the coefficient of innovation was found to be much smaller while the internal influence dominates in all meta tag diffusion. In meta tag diffusion, the internal influence as represented by the coefficient of imitation was increased at least twice bigger than that of consumer durables and information technology. Collecting necessary data in social sciences research can be a burden. This research shows that it can be alleviated through the use of software agents over the Internet. The research made use of software agents for collecting longitudinal data from publicly accessible archive such as Archive.org.

Numerical Formula and Verification of Web Robot for Collection Speedup of Web Documents

  • A web robot is a software that has abilities of tracking and collecting web documents on the Internet(l), The performance scalability of recent web robots reached the limit CIS the number of web documents on the internet has increased sharply as the rapid growth of the Internet continues, Accordingly, it is strongly demanded to study on the performance scalability in searching and collecting documents on the web. 'Design of web robot based on Multi-Agent to speed up documents collection ' rather than 'Sequentially executing Web Robot based on the existing Fork-Join method' and the results of analysis on its performance scalability is presented in the thesis, For collection speedup, a Multi-Agent based web robot performs the independent process for inactive URL ('Dead-links' URL), which is caused by overloaded web documents, temporary network or web-server disturbance, after dividing them into each agent. The agents consist of four component; Loader, Extractor, Active URL Scanner and inactive URL Scanner. The thesis models a Multi-Agent based web robot based on 'Amdahl's Law' to speed up documents collection, introduces a numerical formula for collection speedup, and verifies its performance improvement by comparing data from the formula with data from experiments based on the formula. Moreover, 'Dynamic URL Partition algorithm' is introduced and realized to minimize the workload of the web server by maximizing a interval of the web server which can be a collection target.

  • On the limited urban area meteorological data are hard to be collected because of the cost problem. The facilities collecting the data require high installment cost. Recently, the sensor network technique comes to the fore as a solution. Furthermore a mobile phone also becomes to be recognized as a sensor. This paper studies an application to service the meteorological map using mobile phone sensor. A design results for system implementation are introduced in this paper.

  • In this paper, It is proposed collecting, processing, and learning of data with PIC16F877 and Acode 300[3], constructing database in PC. The PIC16F877 microcontroller nodes are the radio sensor and the DC motor controller. The PC of flexible factory level construct the data-table for object-oriented optimal environment control. The DC Motor control command is decision with back-propagation.

  • The big data term refers to the great volume of data and complicated data structure with difficulties in collecting, storing, processing, and analyzing these data. Big data analytics refers to the operation of disclosing hidden patterns through big data. This information and data set cloud to be useful and provide advanced services. However, analyzing and processing this information could cause revealing and disclosing some sensitive and personal information when the information is contained in applications that are correlated to users such as location-based services, but concerns are diminished if the applications are correlated to general information such as scientific results. In this work, a survey has been done over security and privacy challenges and approaches in big data. The challenges included here are in each of the following areas: privacy, access control, encryption, and authentication in big data. Likewise, the approaches presented here are privacy-preserving approaches in big data, access control approaches in big data, encryption approaches in big data, and authentication approaches in big data.

Designing and Developing the Agricultural Information Management System of North Korea

  • In North Korea, there has been the considerable loss of human lives every yew due to the deficiency of foods. Thus, in order to reduce such damages, a research project should be launched to provide various information for cooperation with North Korean government, and to develop proper agricultural management system. Furthermore, based on the water resources information map generated by KOWACO (Korea Water Resources Corporation) and the environmental information system developed by MOE (Ministry of Environment), an agricultural information infrastructure of North Korea and a management system need to be effectively performed. Therefore, this research is mainly to develop the Agricultural Information Management System of North Korea (NKAIMS), which can collect, manage and analyze agricultural information and water resources utilization status of North Korea, and further support to make relevant decisions and establish the agricultural land-use plans. This research has three phases. The major outcome of the first phase is collecting the agricultural and water resources utilization data such as soils, rivers, streams, collective farms, etc., designing and building database, and developing integrated management system considering the users' requirements. The main work of the second phase is improving and reinforcing database such as adding the information of dams, land-over data, bridges, tunnels, satellite images, etc., inspecting and renewing such as importing detail attribute information of reservoirs, and improving system for more conveniently using. The third phase will be to supplement more useful functions such as statistic analysis, continually inspecting and improving database, and developing web-based system. The product of this research supports collecting and analyzing relevant data to facilitate easier agricultural activities and support effective decision making for food production in the preparation of unification. Moreover, through designing database considering sharing information and system expendability, it can support systematic data usability of agricultural information and save cost for data management.

  • 자동차 수의 급증으로 야기되는 교통혼잡, 교통사고, 주차난 등의 많은 문제에 효율적으로 대응하기 위해서는 제한된 인력과 비용을 사용하는 자동차 관리가 필수적인데 이를 위한 많은 연구들이 국내외적으로 현재 진행되고 있다. 현재 진행되고 있는 여러 연구 분야 중에서 특히 자동차의 차량번호판인식 기술은 법규위반 차량 식별, 통행료 징수, 자동차세 징수, 도난 도주 차량 확인 및 주차 관리 등의 많은 분야에 응용되고 있다. 자동차의 차량번호판 문자 인식 문제와 같이 훈련예제 수집 비용이 많이 드는 경우에 제한된 수의 훈련예제를 최대한 활용하여 분류성능을 향상시키기 위한 방안의 하나로, 수집된 훈련예제들로부터 가상의 예제를 생성하고, 생성된 가상예제를 훈련예제로 추가하여 학습하는 여러 연구가 수행된 바 있다. 본 논문에서는 차량번호판 문자 인식의 성능 향상을 위해 수집된 예제들을 적절히 병합하여 가상의 예제를 생성하는 방안에 관해 기술하고, 문자인식 분야에서 일반적으로 많이 사용되는 여러 알고리즘에 대하여 다양한 가상예제 생성방안 및 다양한 생성비율에 따른 실험을 통해 그 효용성을 확인한다.

웹페이지에서의 상품 데이터 추출을 위한 동적, 정적 크롤링 비교 및 활용 (Comparison and Application of Dynamic and Static Crawling for Extracting Product Data from Web Pages)

  • 본 논문에서는 소비자들이 편의점에서 진행 중인 행사상품에 대해 접근하기 쉬운 웹페이지를 제작하였다. 제작하는 과정에서 행사상품의 데이터를 추출하는 두 가지 크롤링 방식인 정적 크롤링과 동적 크롤링을 비교 및 활용하였다. 정적 크롤링은 홈페이지에서 정적인 데이터를 수집하는 추출 방식이고 동적 크롤링은 웹 페이지에서 동적으로 생성되는 페이지의 데이터를 수집하는 추출하는 방식이다. 두 크롤링에 대한 비교를 통해 행사상품 데이터를 추출하는 데에 있어 어떤 크롤링 방식이 더 효과적인 방식인지에 대해 연구하였다. 그 중 효과적인 정적 크롤링을 이용해 웹 페이지를 제작하였으며, 소비자들이 더 손쉽게 확인할 수 있도록 1+1, 2+1 상품들을 카테고리화 하였고 검색기능을 넣어 웹페이지를 제작하였다.

Research on Railway Safety Common Data Model and DDS Topic for Real-time Railway Safety Data Transmission

  • In this paper, we propose the design of railway safety common data model to provide common transformation method for collecting data from railway facility fields to Real-time railway safety monitoring and control system. This common data model is divided into five abstract sub-models according to the characteristics of data such as 'StateInfoMessage', 'ControlMessage', 'RequestMessage', 'ResponseMessage' and 'ExtendedXXXMessage'. This kind of model structure allows diverse heterogeneous data acquisitions and its common conversion method to DDS (Data Distribution Service) format to share data to the sub-systems of Real-time railway safety monitoring and control system. This paper contains the design of common data model and its DDS Topic expression for DDS communication, and presents two kinds of data transformation case studied for verification of the model design.
