Analysis of the Jean Pants Street Fashion for Men in Seoul, 2012

  • This study researched the jeans street fashion for young men looked like 20s and 30s in Seoul, and analyzed jeans by silhouette by fit and color by washing. The photos were of jeans from the waist to the bottom; and among a total of 1,159 images, 847 images that could be analyzed were selected and used for the analysis. From the images used in the analysis, the jeans fits were categorized according to silhouette and color that were used for the visual selection. As a result, young men preferred fashion jeans like slim or skinny jeans. Most of the tight fitting skinny and slim jeans were slim baggy style jeans, like low waist & long rise with a low back york, which was a key trendy pants style. The jeans color analysis by washing finish showed that dark jeans were most frequently, most of the dark jeans had the original denim color based on the non or normal wash techniques. It is hoped that the results of this study can be used as basic data for the development of designs for jeans brands.

  • In this work, we studied consumers' attractiveness/usefulness perceptions (CAUP) of online commerce product photos when exposed to alternative dark/light user interface (UI) modes. We analyzed time-series EEG data from 31 individuals and performed neuroscience mining (NSM) to ascertain (a) how the CAUP of products differs among UI modes; and (b) which deep learning model provides the most accurate assessment of such neuroscience mining (NSM) business difficulties. The dark UI style increased the CAUP of the products displayed and was predicted with the greatest accuracy using a unique EEG power spectra separated wave brainwave 2D-ConvLSTM model. Then, using relative importance analysis, we used this model to determine the most relevant power spectra. Our findings are considered to contribute to the discovery of objective truths about online customers' reactions to various user interface modes used by various online marketplaces that cannot be uncovered through more traditional research approaches like as surveys.

동화 속 악녀 의상의 색채와 이미지 분석 (An Analysis of a Wicked Women Costume Colors and Images in a Fairy Tale)

  • This study aims to analysis the costume colors and images of wicked women in fairy tale. For the most costume applied to the relationship between color kind, brightness, and saturation. so, this study investigated the costume colors put on by wicked women in fairy tales and analysed and interpreted them by inputting data. First, mostly the costume colors applied to transfer the image of wicked women were dark blue, red, violet, bluish green, green, and purple. Second, the colors feeling cool and cold such as dark blue, bluish green, green, and blue were applied more frequently than the colors feeling warm and mild. Third, the deep and dark color tones with low brightness and low saturation affected by the mixture ratio of black were applied frequently for the use of wicked woman colors. Fourth, the colors mentioned above have the meaning of men, powerful, authority, cruel, angry, brutal, mysterious, and evil, that have the property of attacking and strong wicked women. They were expressed by the costume put on by wicked women.

티셔츠색 선호 외모만족도와 외향성과의 관계 -남녀 고등학생과 대학생을 중심으로- (T-shirt Color Preferences and Appearance Satisfaction Related to Extroversion.)

  • The objectives of this study were to classify the T-shirts color preferences and to examine how T-shirts color preferences and appearances satisfaction vary according to sex school and extroversion. Questionnaire was comprised of four sections: 8 Likert type items of T-shirts color preference: 10 Likert type items of appearance satisfaction: 10 Likert type items of extroversion : and 2 demographic variables. Samples were 335 high school and college students in Kwangju Korea. The data were analyxed using factor analysis and three-way ANOVA. The results of the study were the followings 1. Three segments of T-shirts color preferences derived from factor analysis :F.1 'warm' F. 2 'dark' F.3 'commonplace' 2. Women in high extroversion group liked red color better than men and low extroversion group 3. There were not significant differences in blue and orange color preference according to sex school and extroversion. 4. Therer was interaction effect between sex and school on dark blue color preference. Women liked dark blue color better than did men. 5. Men liked green color better than did women. 6. Women and college students liked pink color better than did men and high school students. 7. College students liked yellow color better than high school students. 8. Men and middle level extroversion group liked purple color better than did women and high and low extroversion group. 9. Men and high level extroversion group had more appearance satisaction than women and low extroversion.

항공사 여승무원 유니폼의 색채 특성과 이미지 (The Characteristics and Images of Colors Found in the Stewardess's Uniforms)

  • The purpose of this study was to analyze the characteristics and images of colors in the stewardess's uniforms. For this study, 530 color samples were selected by extracting digital color data by using the Eyedropper Tool of Photoshop 7.0. The RGB color data were transformed into H V/C and the attributes of colors and tones were analyzed. The color images were analyzed with the color image scales of IRI and Shigenobu Kobayashi. As a results, purple-blue(21.7%), neutral(20.9%), red(17.9%) and yellow(10.8%) were found to be the most frequently used colors. In the tone analysis, vivid tone(18.7%) occupied high frequency and the next orders were white(17.4%), dark grayish(12.8%), light(8.5%), dark(8.1%). The color images were focused on dynamic, modern, casual, gorgeous, classic, elegance images in the color image scales of IRI and Kobayashi.

The Exploratory Analysis for Spam Mail Data Using Correspondence Analysis

  • The number of electronic mail(E-mail) has been increased dramatically as a result of expanding internet and information technology. Although there are many conveniences of E-mail in the bright side, some serious problems occur because of E-mail in its dark side. One of the problems is spam-mail which is unsolicited mail and also called bulk mail. This paper presents a set of patterns of spam-mail occurrences within a week using the correspondence analysis. The correspondence analysis is an exploratory multivariate technique that converts data into a particular type of graphical display in which the rows and columns are depicted as points. One of the meaningful patterns is a great increment of adult and phishing related spam-mails at weekends so any spam-mail filters should be designed to cope with this pattern.

Weak Lensing Analysis On The Merging Galaxy Cluster Abell 115

  • The galaxy cluster Abell 115 shows ongoing merger features, which suggest that it might be in an intermediate phase of dynamical evolution. As merging clusters often show, the characteristic hints of A115's merging activities include radio relics, double X-ray peaks, and large offsets between the cluster member galaxies and the X-ray distributions. To constrain the exact stage of the merger, it is necessary to obtain its dark matter distribution. In this study, we carry out a precision weak lensing study of this interesting system based on Subaru images. We present our mass reconstruction together with descriptions on our core procedure of the analysis: Subaru data reduction, galaxy shape measurement, and source selection. We find that Abell 115 consists of two massive dark matter clumps, which closely follow the cluster galaxies. Our weak lensing mass estimate is a few factors lower than the published dynamical mass obtained from velocity dispersion. This large mass discrepancy may be attributed to a significant departure from dynamical equilibrium.

Estimating dark matter mass for the most massive high-z galaxy cluster, SPT-CL J2106-5844 using weak-lensing analysis with HST observations

  • SPT-CL J2106-5844 is known to be one of the most massive galaxy clusters ($M_{200}{\sim}1.27{\times}10^{15}M_{sun}$) ever found at z > 1. Given its redshift (z ~ 1.132), the mass of this cluster estimated by Sunyaev-Zel'dovich effect and X-ray observation is too large compared with the current ${\Lambda}CDM$ cosmology prediction. Mass estimation from these methods can be biased because they require assumptions on hydrostatic equilibrium, which are not guaranteed to hold at such high redshift (about 40% of the current age of the Universe). Thus, we need to verify the mass of this interesting cluster using gravitational lensing, which does not require such assumptions. In this work, we present our preliminary result of dark matter mass and its spatial mass distribution of SPT-CL J2106-5844 using weak-lensing analysis based on HST optical/NIR deep imaging data. We compare mass estimates from different sources and discuss cosmological implications.

Constraints on scalar field models of dark energy.

  • We consider dynamical dark energy models based on a minimally coupled scalar field with three different potentials: the inverse power-law, SUGRA and double exponential potentials. For each model, we derived perturbation initial conditions in the early epoch and performed the Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) analysis to explore the parameter space that is favored by the current cosmological observations like Planck CMB anisotropy, type Ia supernovae, and baryon acoustic oscillation data. The analysis has been done by using the modified CAMB/COSMOMC code in which the dynamical evolution of the scalar field perturbations are fully considered. The MCMC constraints on the cosmological as well as potential parameters are derived. In the talk we will present a progress report.

한국과 중국 대학생의 빨간색 셔츠에 대한 시각적 감성 비교 (Comparison of Visual Sensibility for Red Shirts between Korean and Chinese University Students)

  • 본 연구는 빨간색 셔츠의 시각적 감성을 비교 분석하여 소비자 감성을 반영한 셔츠의 색채기획에 도움을 주고자, 한국과 중국 대학생을 대상으로 온라인상에서 시각적 평가방법으로 7가지 톤의 빨간색 색지와 빨간색 셔츠에 대한 시각적 감성과 선호도를 평가하였다. 평가된 자료는 빈도 분석, 평균, 요인 분석, t-test를 실시하여 분석하였다. 빨간색 셔츠의 시각적 감성은 스포티, 로맨틱, 클래식 등 3개의 감성요인이 추출되었는데, 이 요인들은 톤, 성과 국적에 따라 유의한 차이가 나타났다. 중국 대학생은 한국 대학생에 비해 strong톤의 빨간색 셔츠가 더 스포티하고, dark톤이 더 클래식하다고 지각하였다. 또한 한국 대학생은 deep톤의 빨간색 셔츠를 로맨틱하다고 평가하였으나, 중국 대학생은 light톤과 pale톤의 셔츠를 로맨틱하다고 평가하였다. 한편, 7가지 톤의 빨간색 셔츠에 대한 선호도는 국적 및 성에 따라 유의한 차이를 보였다. 중국 대학생은 한국 대학생보다 dark톤과 pale톤의 빨간색 셔츠를 더 구매하고 싶어 하였으나, 한국 대학생은 strong톤의 셔츠를 더 선호하였다. 또한 남자 대학생이 dark와 dull톤의 빨간색 셔츠를 더 선호하는 반면, 여자 대학생은 light톤의 빨간색 셔츠를 더 선호하였다.
