컨테이너 기술을 활용한 엣지 컴퓨팅 환경 어플리케이션 무결성 보호에 대한 연구 (A Study on Integrity Protection of Edge Computing Application Based on Container Technology)

  • 엣지 컴퓨팅(Edge Computing)은 인공지능(AI)을 데이터 소스와 근접한 환경에서 수행함으로써 IoT/CPS 기기를 클라우드에 통합하는데 발생하는 네트워크 대역폭 소모로 인한 비용 문제와 전송 지연 등의 문제 해결의 방안으로 주목받고 있다. 엣지 컴퓨팅 기기는 실 세계에 위치하여 인공지능 구현 기술을 구동 가능한 수준의 향상된 연산과 네트워크 연결을 제공하므로, 인적/물적 피해를 발생할 수 있는 사이버 테러에 악용되지 않도록 어플리케이션 무결성에 대한 고려가 필요하다. 본 논문에서는 인공지능 구현 시 활용되는 파이썬(python) 과 같이 변조에 취약한 스크립트 언어로 구현된 엣지 컴퓨팅 어플리케이션을 컨테이너 이미지로 구성 후 전자서명을 하여 무결성을 보호하는 기법을 제안한다. 제안하는 기법은 오픈소스 컨테이너 기술에서 제공하는 무결성 보호기술 (Docker Contents Trust)를 기반으로하며, 엣지 컴퓨팅 기기에서 허용된 컨테이너만 구동 가능하도록 컨테이너 서명 정보에 대한 화이트리스트와 Docker Client를 개선하여 적용하는 기법을 제시한다.

Risk Analysis of Container Ship Accidents and Risk Mitigation Measures

  • The study performs a risk analysis on container ship accidents using accident data collected over the six years from 2006 to 2011, presents the resulting risk level, and suggests three risk mitigation measures to reduce the overall risk, for the safer operation of container ships. More specifically, starting from the initial accident of collision, we developed 13 different accident scenarios using event tree analysis based on which the overall risk level was obtained and presented as a FN curve. Since diverse human factors are the main cause of most of the ship accidents, our study focuses on the effect of reducing human causes on the resulting risk level. For the research we considered the injuries for the calculation of fatality with the help of MAIS. The results show that collision was the main type of accident, accounting for 62 % of all accidents, and the measures employed were proven to be effective in the sense that the risk level was much lowered and the average number of fatalities was also reduced. With more data accumulated, more precise risk level will be calculated with which the practical risk mitigating measures will be also developed. For future study, economic loss and environmental damage as consequences need to be considered.

Dynamic Response of Container Ship Subjected to Bow flare Slamming Loads

  • The wave impact on ships could cause local damage to the ship's hull, which has been a concerning issue during the ship design process. In recent years, local structural damages of ships caused by slamming loads have been reported by accident; therefore, it is necessary to study the local slamming pressure loads and structural response assessment. In the present study, slamming loads around the ship's bow region in the presence of regular wave have been simulated by RANS equations discretized with a cell-centered finite volume method (FVM) in conjunction with the $k-{\Box}$ turbulence model. The dynamic structural response has been calculated using an explicit FE method. By adding the slamming pressure load of each time step to the finite element model, establishing the reasonable boundary conditions, and considering the material strain-rate effects, the dynamic response prediction of the bow flare structure has been achieved. The results and insights of this study will be helpful to design a container ship that is resistant enough to withstand bow flare slamming loads.

SCM 관점의 컨테이너터미널 물류시스템 평가 (A Study on the Evaluation of Container Terminal Logistics Systems in SCM's Perspective)

  • 본 연구에서는 시스템적 관점과 공급사슬 구성원들 간의 상호작용을 통한 전략적 관점에서 컨테이너터미널의 물류시스템을 평가하기 위해 공급사슬관리 개념을 적용하였다. 선행연구와 델파이 기법을 이용하여 컨테이너터미널 물류시스템의 SCM 구성요인으로 유연성, 신뢰성, 대응성, 정보공유성을 도출하였고, 세부평가 항목으로 16개 항목을 선정하였다. 컨테이너터미널 물류시스템 구성요인에 대한 평가 결과를 보면, 신뢰성 요인이 0.282으로 가장 높았고, 유연성 요인이 0.273, 대응성 요인이 0.224, 정보공유성 요인이 0.221 순으로 나타났다. 컨테이너터미널 물류시스템의 SCM 구성요소 가중치와 세부평가항목의 가중치를 결합하여 환산 가중치를 산출한 결과를 보면, 유연성 구성요소의 세부항목인 작업 Planning(선석, 야드) 항목의 가중치가 0.081로 컨테이너 터미널의 물류시스템을 평가하는 가장 중요한 요인으로 나타났고, 컨테이너 작업 스케줄의 정확한 이행(선박, 야드) 항목과 장비 적정배분 및 배치(QC, TC, YT)항목이 0.079, 컨테이너 및 선박의 손상 없는 안정적인 작업 항목이 0.071 그리고 장비운전자 숙련도 및 장비예방 정비 항목이 0.070 순으로 분석되었다. 다음으로 양 적하 및 선적정보 항목이 0.064, 작업 모니터링과 오류에 대한 해결 항목이 0.062, 대형선박 작업 가능성 항목이 0.060, 신속한 게이트 반 출입 시스템 항목과 무료 장치기간 제공 항목이 0.057, 내륙운송 연계서비스 항목이 0.055, 컨테이너 작업정보 항목이 0.053, 마지막으로 반 출입 정보 항목과 컨테이너 이력 및 장치정보 항목 그리고 컨테이너(일반, 특수)관리 및 서비스 항목이 0.052 순으로 나타났다.

  • Annual roadbed failure due to the rainfall has brought out the social and economic damage such as the loss of life and property, the consumption of time and cost for recovery, and the delay of logistics in railway. However, there was not an appropriate way that could be used as a permanent solution. As a suggestion of the answer to this problem, the method using Geotextile Container was considered for the rehabilitation of the failed railway roadbed, and the numerical analysis is applied for the evaluation of the slope stability. This study focused on the most common case among the roadbed failures. In addition, the investigation for the applicability of this method as a permanent use was made.

신선농산물의 수출포장개발에 관한 연구 (Research on Development of Export Packaging for Fresh Agricultural Products)

  • It is very difficult to export the fresh agricultural products to long distant countries such as America and EU without any damage. Fresh exporting products would be met very hazardous environments such as hot and cold weather, heavy trembles with rolling and pitching. Therefore, care should be taken on tight fastening the products inside the container and keeping the designated temperature and relative humidity. The physical strength of outer box should be applied differently because each agricultural product has its own character for packaging. There have been many agricultural products researches for export packaging to the U.S.A. so far. However they have never got desirable results which enough to apply it in real. The main purpose of this research is to develop optimum compressive strength of corrugated fiber board box which would be used to American export packaging of fresh agricultural products such as perilla leaves, green red pepper and spinach.

  • 컨테이너 크레인의 설계 시 적용되는 하중 조건 중에서 풍하중이 가장 중요하게 고려되어지는바, 본 연구는 75m/s의 풍하중이 컨테이너 크레인에 작용 할 때 컨테이너 크레인의 구조적 안정성에 미치는 영향을 보다 정확하게 예측하기 위하여 유동-구조 연성해석을 실시하였다. 컨테이너 크레인에 작용하는 실제 유동현상을 고려하기 위하여 먼저 전산유동해석을 실시하였으며, 이를 통해서 얻어진 풍하중을 구조해석의 하중조건으로 적용하는 유동-구조 연성해석을 통하여 컨테이너 크레인 각 지지점에서의 반력을 도출하고 그 결과를 분석하였다. 사용된 모델은 주변 환경으로 인하여 컨테이너 크레인의 최대 고도가 제한 될 경우 사용되는 관절형 컨테이너 크레인이며 전산유동해석 및 유동-구조 연성해석 프로그램으로는 ANSYS ICEM CFD 10.0과 ANSYS CFX 10.0을 사용하였다.

동북아 물류환경변화에 따른 부산항의 경쟁력 강화 방안 (The Devices to Strengthen the Competitiveness of the Port of Busan Relating to the Change of Logistics Environment in North-East Asia)

  • With trend of container ships becoming larger and faster, the environment surrounding ports in North-East Asia is rapidly changing. Korea's largest port of Busan processed more than 10 million 20- feet equivalent containers in 2003, surpassing the 10-million TEU mark for the first time in its three decades of operation. However, the Port of Busan , the world's third-largest port in 2002, was eclipsed by Shanghai since July in 2003. The first massive strike of truckers crippled the Korea's logistics system in May and in September, the Port of Busan suffered from the second strike of truckers and damage by a powerful typhoon. By contrast, the port of Shenzhen in China increased its container-processing volume by 39.9 percent to 10.65 million TEU in 2003, and Shanghai, which passed Busan in terms of container volume in the middle of last year, further consolidated its position as the world's No. 3 port with an annual volume of 11.28 million TEU. After all, Busan recorded an annual container volume of 10.40 million TEU, slipping to fifth in rankings in 2003 and Busan's bid to become a Northeast Asian hub has suffered a further setback as these chinese ports overtook the port of Busan. But the port of Busan is located in the main trunk liking North America, Europe and South-East Asia. Once the project of Busan Newport is accomplished and the railway between South and North Korea is connected to TCR and TSR, the Port of Busan will have the most potential to become the international logistics center as the starting point of the land and sea routes encompassing all over the world.

용기 내 발생하는 이끼류의 화학적 방제 (Chemical Control of Mosses in Container Nursery)

  • 본 연구는 임업시설양묘 시 용기 내에 발생하여 묘목의 생장을 방해하는 이끼류의 방제법을 개발하고자 실시되었으며, 이끼류 방제 가능성이 있는 6종류의 화학물질을 농도를 달리하여 처리하였다. 우산이끼(Marchantia polymorpha)가 발생한 소나무(Pinus densiflora) 용기묘 2년생과 솔이끼(Polytrichum commune)가 발생한 편백(Chamaecyparis obtusa) 용기묘 1년생을 대상으로 이들 물질을 처리한 결과, 가장 효과적인 이끼 방제 물질은 quinoclamine으로 조사되었다. 이 성분 0.9 g/l의 농도에서 우산이끼는 100%, 솔이끼는 95.5%의 방제효과를 나타내었다. Quinoclamine 다음으로는, 처리농도에 따라 다소 차이는 있지만, 2종류 이끼 모두 목초액, flumioxazin, oxyfluorfen 순으로 효과가 큰 것으로 조사되었다. 한편 flumioxazin과 oxyfluorfen 고농도 처리에서는 화학물질 처리에 따른 용기묘의 약제 피해가 발생하였다.

유한요소법을 이용한 골판지 포장화물내 배의 진동해석 (Vibration Analysis of Pears in Packaged Freight Using Finite Element Method)

  • Fruits we subjected to complex dynamic stresses in the transportation environment. During a long journey from the production area to markets, there is always some degree of vibration present. Vibration inputs are transmitted from the vehicle through the packaging to the fruit. Inside, these cause sustained bouncing of fruits against each other and container wall. These steady state vibration input may cause serious fruit injury, and this damage is particularly severe whenever the fruit inside the package is free to bounce, and is vibrated at its resonant frequency. The determination of the resonant frequencies of the fruit may help the packaging designer to determine the proper packaging system providing adequate protection for the fruit, and to understand the complex interaction between the components of fruit when they relate to expected transportation vibration inputs. The vibration characteristics of the pears in corrugated fiberboard container in transit were analyzed using FEM (finite element method) modeling, and the FEM modeling approach was first validated by comparing the results obtained from simulation and experiment for the pear in the frequency range 3 to 150 Hz and acceleration level of 0.25 G-rms and it was found that between simulated and measured frequencies of the pears have a relatively good agreement. It was observed that the fruit and vegetables in corrugated fiberboard container could be analyzed by finite element method. As the elastic modulus of the cushion materials of corrugated fiberboard pad and tray cup decreased, the first frequencies of upper and lower pears increased and the peak acceleration decreased.
