Since DSM provides a user a simple shared memory abstraction, the user does not have to be concerned with data movement between hosts. Each node in DSM systems has processor, memory, and connection to a network. Memory is divided into pages, and a page can have multiple copies in different nodes. To maintain data consistency between nodes, two conventional protocols are used : write-update protocol and invalidate protocol. The performance of these protocols depends on the system parameters and the memory access patterns. for adapting to memory access patterns, competitive update protocol updates those copies of a page that are expected to be used in the near future, while selectively invalidating other copies. We present weighted competitive update protocols that consider different communication bandwidth for each connection a of two nodes. Test result by simulation show that the weighted competitive update protocol improves performance.

국내에서는 전력산업의 규제가 점차 완화되면서 전력시장은 새로운 틀이 형성되어지고 있다. 전력시장의 구조개편후 각 전력회사들은 그들의 판매수익을 높이기 위하여 행동하게 될 것이다. 즉 그들의 부하를 적절하게 조절함으로써 한계비용이 평균비용보다 낮게 유지되도록 하여 이윤극대화를 추구해 나갈 것이다. 따라서 전력회사들은 수요측의 관리가 과거 어느 때 보다 필요하게 될 것이며, 어떻게 하면 부하곡선의 피크치를 억제할 것인지 생각하게 된다. 이러한 것을 해결하기 위해 전력회사들은 그들의 소비자 대부분을 수요관리 프로그램에 참여시키 부하관리를 할 것이며 이를 통해 피크치 부하를 억제시켜 한계비용을 줄이려할 것이다. 소비자들을 수요관리 프로그램에 참여토록 유도하기 위하여 전력회사는 여러 가지 인센티브를 제공하게 되는데, 소비자들은 이러한 인센티브를 받아 프로그램에 참여할 것인지를 선택하게 된다. 본 논문에서는 전력회사가 수요관리 프로그램을 실행할 때 어떤 효과를 얻게 되고 참여자들이 느끼는 순이익은 어떻게 될지를 고려하게 될 것이다. 이러한 것들은 전력회사 입장에서는 수요관리 프로그램을 실행하는 것이 그들에게 이익을 가져다 줄 것인지를 말해주며 소비자들은 그들의 프로그램에 지속적으로 참여할 것인지를 선택하게 될 것이다.

Advanced Television Systems Committee (ATSC) -A/90, which is a standard for terrestrial data transmission in Korea, defines synchronized data that has a strong timing association with a separate Program Element. It is classified as synchronized streaming data that is carried in packetized elementary stream (PES) packets or a synchronized non-streaming data that shall be carried in digital storage media command and control (DSM-CC) section. In this paper, we study the design and verification of synchronized streaming data processing algorithm based on ATSC -A/90. We designed a parser and a player for the algorithm development. The received PES packet including synchronized streaming data is parsed in the parser. The parsed synchronized streaming data is synchronized and displayed by player. Finally, we ascertained that STB was working properly with MPEG-2 transport stream (TS) containing synchronized streaming data, as the proposed algorithm is implemented on a set-top box.

Unlike traditional analog broadcasting, digital broadcasting provides users with various additional services that we have never seen before. To receive these kind of services. data broadcasting includes not only audio, video signal, but also additional data associated with the program. In this paper, we present the efficient parsing and caching mechianism for data carousel in digital broadcasting set-top box. In order to speed up the process of parsing, we use the Message Pool that stores elementary_pid syntax of DSM-CC message packets.

Yoga meditation and music therapy are considered to be appropriate for the spiritual and mental treatment for the patients and employed in many clinics and rehabilitation centers as an alternative medicine. This study aims at the analysis of the effects of yoga and music on the treatment of alcoholism. For this, yoga and music treatments were executed for the patients hospitalized in an alcohol clinic hospital in Gimhae district. Only the patients who were judged as alcohol dependents by a psychiatrist with a diagnostic criteria of DSM-IV participated in the study. During five weeks, from November 10, 2009 to December 29, yoga program was practiced two times per week, totaling 10 times, and music therapy was practiced one time per week, totaling 5 times. Among the patients participated in the programs, 44patients were selected finally. They are 16 patients who performed all the yoga programs, and 28 patients who fulfilled all the music therapies. A survey was conducted on them to estimate the effects of yoga and music treatments for the three cases of 'angry behavior', 'anger expression', and 'psychological state at interview'. The results show that yoga and music treatments have positive effects on the patients, although the statistical significance is not so great. However, the more reliable and significant results could be obtained in further studies by prolongation of the practice period, and by introducing the clinical information such as brain mapping to compensate the emotional bias of the patients.

우리는 지방세납세자 기금의 공공 목적의 프로그램과 활기찬 민간 부문의 에너지 효율 서비스산업과의 관계가 중심이 되는 몇 가지의 보다 광범위한 공공 정책 과제에 대하여 이 프로젝트의 데이터가 어떤 통찰력을 제공할 수 있다는 것을 믿는다. 예를 들면, 역사적으로, 어느 정도까지 ESCO들이 지방세납세자 기금의 DSM의 인센티브에 의존했는지? 상관적인 조건에서 시간이 거듭할수록, 보다 많은 프로젝트들이 지방세납세자들로부터의 재정적 보조금 없이 개발될 수 있을지? ESCO들이 특수한 시장 부문에서 에너지공급자의 DSM으로부터의 재정적 인센티브나 공공 목적의 재정적 인센티브에 보다 더 의존하는 경향이 있는 것은 아닌지? 또는 그들의 이용이 에너지공급자에 의해서 제공되는 프로그램의 능력에 의해서 조건이 결정되는 것은 아닌지?

In this paper, we estimate the effects of the two most important means of summer time demand side management in Korean power market: adjustment of vacation or repair timing and the voluntary saving program. We use regression analyses to estimate how effective these two programs are in reducing the peak time demand during the summer. Our results show that adjustment of vacation or repair timing actually reduces the daily peak demand by 0.53 kWh per one kWh reported reduction calculated from the agreements between Kepco and the users. The voluntary saving program reduces the daily peak by 0.57 kWh per one kWh reported reduction calculated from the agreements between Kepco and the users. However, when we include these two effects in the same regression model, their respective estimated effects become much weaker.

This paper proposes a consistency algorithm that is able to serve streaming data efficiently in VOD system. The media data is stripping into several pieces of data by the Round Robin method in order to media data service. The barrier mechanism is changed into the minimum data factor(SH. GOP) in this paper. The shared memory is allocated at one host with one fragment size. Data is combined with RTP packet transmission data format using barrier mechanism. I experiment and program the suggested algorithm on the VOD system.

전력산업 구조개편에 따라 전력회사의 공익기능 회피로 발생할 수 있는 시장실패 요인을 보완하기 위하여 정부 주도의 공익적 기능 수행으로 전력산업의 효율향상이라는 구조개편의 근본 취지와 목표를 달성하고자 정부는 매 3년 단위의 전력산업기반조성계획을 수립하도록 전기사업법에 명시하고 있고, 본 논문은 구조개편 하에서 공정한 경쟁 환경을 조성하여 소비자의 편익을 증대시킴으로써 공익기능을 강화하기 위한 중장기적인 전력 수요관리 정책방향을 제시하고, 2003년에서 2005년까지의 전력수요관리 프로그램별 세부 추진계획을 수립하였다.

본(本) 연구에서는 에너지절약을 위한 주요 정책수단(政策手段)인 저리융자나 세제감면 또는 특별감가상각 인정 등 에너지절약 비용측면의 금융 세제지원이라는 과인성(課引性)정책과, 에너지수요조절를 위한 에너지가격 규제해제(energy price deregulation)나 에너지세(稅)의 추가부과 등 가격관리(조세) 정책의 경제적 효과를 비교 분석하였다. 그리고 에너지세(稅)부과의 경우 과세단계별 효과분석을 통하여 바람직한 과세포인트를 선택하고, 이를 통하여 현행 에너지절약 지원(支援)정책이나 에너지가격 및 조세체계에 대한 개선방향을 모색하였다. 분석결과, 약간의 물가상승 압박효과를 감수하더라도 에너지가격통제 해제나 에너지세 부과가 금융 세제지원제도에 비하여 에너지절약에 있어 그 효과가 크게 나타났다. 또한 에너지과세의 경우 그 대상과 실행시기에 대해서도 신축성을 기하는 것이 바람직한 것으로 나타나 에너지의 소비감소라는 효율성 측면과 함께 수반되는 물가압박요인을 고려하여 신중히 결정되어야 할 것으로 보인다. 그렇지만 단기적으로 에너지가격의 상승을 감수하더라도 DSM 프로그램비용을 자본화해 나감으로써 점진적으로 가격상승요인을 흡수하고 효과적인 에너지소비의 절약을 통하여 국민경제의 에너지비용을 줄여나갈 수 있는 종합적인 에너지대책이 마련되어야 할 것이다.
