  • This is a thesis experiment result which is reported with using 16-Bit microprocessor H8 series of Renesas company, organizing digital control which is practicable PWM embodiment, and applying switched-mode power supply. The basic topology consists of the active clamp forward DC-DC converter which is widely used for the highly efficient power supply these days. In an experiment, it incites the result to lay emphasis on the highly efficient operation of converter, and performance of digital control which is practicable PWM embodiment. And it is debated on performance of processor and condition for improving performance of part.

  • This paper deals with the parallel operation of several numbers of PWM converters for a high speed railway train application. Several considerations are made to reduce the transformer interaction which can cause a current control problem in severe case. Also, in this paper, novel control strategy is proposed to achieve a harmonic free primary-side current control under a light load condition using one current sensor independent of the number of converters. In addition, the modified predictive current controller, which is suitable to a digital current controller with a relatively large sampling period, is used. Finally, to verify the system validity, digital control system with TMS320C44 micro-processor and small scale simulator are made and tested.

  • Since the residential load is an AC load and the output of solar cell is DC power, the photovoltaic system needs the DC/AC converter to utilize solar cell. In case of driving to interact with utility line, in order to operate at unity power factor, converter must provide the sinusoidal wave current and voltage with same phase of utility line. Since output of solar cell is greatly fluctuated by insolation, it is necessary that the operation of solar cell output in the range of the vicinity of maximum power point. In this paper, DC/AC converter is three phase PWM converter with smoothing reactor. And then, feed-forward control used to obtain a superior characteristic for current control and digital PLL circuit used to detect the phase of utility line.

  • 본 논문에서는 디지털 제어방식의 DC-DC컨버터를 이용한 계통연계형 전력변환기를 제안한다. 제안하는 전력변환기는 3상 전류형 능동클램프 DC-DC컨버터와 계통연계형 3상 인버터로 구성되어 있다. 제안하는 전력변환기의 동작을 분석하기 위해 PSCAD/EMTDC를 이용하여 연료전지의 출력 동특성을 나타내는 모델과 제안하는 전력변환기의 모델을 개발하였다. 시뮬레이션모델의 검증이 가능한 하드웨어장치의 기본설계를 실시하였다. 제안하는 전력변환기는 정격출력에서 저전압특성을 갖는 연료전지를 전력계통에 고효율로 연계하는데 유용할 것으로 보인다.

  • The fast charging photoflash capacitor charger with wide range current limiter is presented. By using proposed control logic block and wide range current limiter, the photoflash capacitor charger can reduce charging time and control life of battery for user convenience. The proposed photoflash capacitor charger has 3s charging time at 3.3V battery voltage, 1.2A current limit condition. It is well-suited for portable device application like digital camera, digital video camera, and mobile phone with camera.

  • 본 논문에서는 해양 전기추진 시스템과 딥러닝 알고리즘을 융합하여 전기추진 리제너레이션 시스템에서 DC/DC 컨버터 출력 전류 예측 및 리제너레이션 수행 시 배터리 충전량을 예측하기 위해 신경망 모델을 제안한다. 제안 된 신경망을 실험하기 위해 PCM의 입력 전압과 전류를 측정하고 시제품 PCM 보드의 출력 결과를 통해 데이터 세트를 구성하였다. 또한 불충분 한 데이터 세트에서 학습 결과를 향상시키기 위해 기존 데이터 세트를 데이터 피팅하여 학습을 진행하였다. 학습 후 신경망 모델의 데이터 예측 결과와 실제 측정 데이터의 차이를 그래프를 통해 확인하였다. 제안한 신경망 모델은 입력 전압과 전류 변화에 따른 배터리 충전량 예측을 효율적으로 보여주었다. 또한, DC/DC 컨버터를 구성하는 아날로그 회로의 특성변화를 신경망을 통하여 예측함으로써, 리제너레이션 시스템의 설계 시, 아날로그 회로의 특성을 고려해야 할 것으로 판단된다.

Adaptive Digital Predictive Peak Current Control Algorithm for Buck Converters

  • Digital current control techniques are an attractive option for DC-DC converters. In this paper, a digital predictive peak current control algorithm is presented for buck converters that allows the inductor current to track the reference current in two switching cycles. This control algorithm predicts the inductor current in a future period by sampling the input voltage, output voltage and inductor current of the current period, which overcomes the problem of hardware periodic delay. Under the premise of ensuring the stability of the system, the response speed is greatly improved. A real-time parameter identification method is also proposed to obtain the precision coefficient of the control algorithm when the inductance is changed. The combination of the two algorithms achieves adaptive tracking of the peak inductor current. The performance of the proposed algorithms is verified using simulations and experimental results. In addition, its performance is compared with that of a conventional proportional-integral (PI) algorithm.

전류형 MPPT를 이용한 3 kW 태양광 인버터 시스템 제어기 설계 및 구현 (Design and implementation of 3 kW Photovoltaic Power Conditioning System using a Current based Maximum Power Point Tracking)

  • In this paper, a new current based maximum power point tracking (CMPPT) method is proposed for a single phase photovoltaic power conditioning system and the current based MPPT modifies incremental conductance method. The current based MPPT method makes the entire control structure of the power conditioning system simple and uses an inherent current source characteristic of solar cell array. In addition, digital phase locked loop using an all pass filter is introduced to detect phase of grid voltage as well as peak voltage. Controllers about dc/dc boost converter, dc-link voltage, dc/ac inverter is designed for a coordinated operation. Furthermore, PI current control using a pseudo synchronous d-q transformation is employed for grid current control with unity power factor. 3kW prototype photovoltaic power conditioning system is built and its experimental results are given to verify the effectiveness of the proposed control schemes.
