Distributed resources such as renewable energy sources and ESS are connected to the low voltage direct current(LVDC) distribution network through the power conversion system(PCS). Control power is required for the operation of the PCS. In general, controller power is supplied from AC power or DC power through switch mode power supply(SMPS). However, the conventional SMPS has a low input voltage, so development and research on high input voltage self-power suitable for LVDC is insufficient. In this paper, to develop Self-Power that can be used for LVDC, the characteristics of the conventional topology are analyzed, and a series-input single-output flyback converter using a flux-sharing transformer for high voltage is designed. The high input voltage Self-Power was designed in the DCM(discontinuous current mode) to reduce the switching loss and solve the problem of current dissipation. In addition, since it operates even at low input voltage, it can be applied to many applications as well as LVDC. The validity of the proposed high input voltage self-power is verified through experiments.

Recently, securing stable supply of fresh food is deemed as one of the important tasks. Accordingly, now the presence of cold chain along with the needs of a comfortable and healthy life is growing as the online market expands and the contactless industry grows, however, cold chain is being studied only in the aspect of ground and sea transportation. And, due to global warming and strengthening global environmental regulations, we believe that it is necessary to convert the existing road-centered logistics system into a railway-centered logistics system, a low-carbon transportation means. Therefore, in this paper we calculated the maximum energy required by the reefer container as a basic research necessary for constructing the low temperature distribution and cold chain based on the reefer container railway, and conducted a study on methods of supplying the reefer container power utilizing 1. tramline, 2. battery, 3. generator. The results of this paper can be utilized as a foundational study for building a cold chain based on a reefer container dedicated to freight trains in the future.
We have fabricated YBa$_2$Cu$_3$$O_{7-x}$ (YBCO) ramp-edge Josephson junctions by modifying ramp edges of the base electrodes without depositing any artificial barrier layer. YBa$_2$Cu$_3$O/7-x//SrTiO$_3$ (YBCO/STO) films were deposited on SrTiO$_3$(100) by on-axis KrF laser deposition. After patterning the bottom YBCO/STO layer, the ramp edge was cleaned by ion-beam and then reacted with deionized water under various conditions prior to the deposition of counter-electrode layers. The top YBCO/STO layer was deposited and patterned by photolithography and ion milling. We measured current-voltage (I-V) characteristics, magnetic field modulation of the critical current at 77 K. Some showed resistively shunted junction (RSJ)-type I-V characteristics, while others exhibited flux-flow behaviors, depending on the dipping time of the ramp edge in deionized water. Junctions fabricated using optimized conditions showed fairly uniform distribution of junction parameters such as I$_{c}$R$_{n}$ values, which were about 0.16 mV at 77 K with 1$\sigma$~ 24%. We made a dc SQUID with the same deionized water treated junctions, and it showed the sinusoidal modulation under applied magnetic field at 77 K. 77 K.
In this paper, we analyze experimental results by applying the PHILS model to a lab-scale superconducting current limiter system for its actual application in medium-voltage direct current (MVDC) systems. Superconducting current limiters exhibit effective current-limiting performance in circuit breaker operations, particularly in limiting large fault currents within a short period, addressing the challenges posed by the increasing use of renewable energy and the integration of DC medium-voltage distribution systems. The development of such superconducting current limiters faces various technical and cost disadvantages, especially when applying a medium-voltage 35kV level system, which is intended for future introduction. The proven lab-scale superconducting current limiter system and the PHILS model are combined and integrated into the actual system. Our plan involves analyzing the limiter's performance, assessing its impact on the system, and preparing for its application in future medium-voltage systems. Utilizing RTDS, a simulation was conducted by connecting actual scaled-down equipment and systems, with the analysis results presented.
There was a new wave in grocery business with development of information and technology, thus a movement from traditional stores to online stores, In order to expand the scale of traditional supermarket and to satisfy the customers' needs, they provide offline and online services simultaneously. This paper is based on the previous studies which had been researched in developed countries from late 1990s to early 2000s and the purpose of this study is to introduce the idea and operation system of e-Grocery business. Moreover, we suggest the alternatives on delivery service methods in order to satisfy the customers' needs through analyzing the current condition of e-Grocers in Korea. According to the result of this study, Korean e-Grocers offer only attended home delivery services. In our opinion, Korean supermarkets have to take hybrid model which Tesco.com is using. There are some alternatives to increase the profits of Korean e-Grocers and to provide better services to their customers as follows: As an alternatives for delivery services, picking service is the easiest and cheapest way to apply for supermarkets. This is very useful for working women and also it is possible to order by smartphone recently. They can order the goods to the closest local supermarkets from working place, and then they pick them up on the way home from working off. In order to improve the quality of delivery services, to use the reception box will be the way to provide better services to the customers. The reception box is a way to protect the quality of goods such as fresh-cut product, which require the freshness through the temperature adjustment, and also to keep the safety of ordered goods through locking system Through this system, supermarkets are able to use attended or unattended services under the customers' satisfaction. However, using the reception box is expensive, so shared reception box will be an alternative. As an alternative for development of e-Grocery business, the advertisement for e-Grocery business has to be supported in order to attract potential customers in e-Grocery business. Furthermore, the main concerns of e-Grocery business such as the sanitation and safety of goods, and convenience must be guaranteed in order to keep the loyal customers and to attract new customers.
To elucidate the distribution of halophytes in Korea, we surveyed 95 coastal salt marsh and sand dune areas. As a result, 62 halophytes of 57 species, 4 varieties and 1 form belonging to 44 genera and 21 families were recorded from coastal regions and islands of South Korea. Of these, 33 taxa were plants growing on sand dunes and the other 29 in salt marsh. Fifty eight taxa were found on the west coast, which was surveyed at 61 areas. The most common species among them were Suaeda glauca (Bunge) Bunge, Suaeda japonica Makino, Phragmites communis Trin., Zoysia sinica Hance, Carex scabrifolia Steud. in salt marsh, and Salsola komarrovii Iljin, Lathyrus japonicus Willd., Limonium tetragonum (Thunb.) A.A. Bulloc, Calystegia soldanella Roem. & Schult. on sand dunes. On the other hand, only 45 taxa were found on the southern coast, surveyed at 15 areas. On the east coast, surveyed at 13 areas, 44 taxa were found. The most common species were Salsola komarrovii Iljin, Lathyrus japonicus Willd., Calystegia soldanella Roem. & Schult., on sand dunes and Linaria japonica Miq., which on the Korean peninsula is found only on the east coast. On Jeju Island, surveyed at 6 areas, 30 taxa of halophytes were found. Canavalia lineata (Thunb.) DC. is found in Korea only on Jeju Island. About half of the Korean halophytes were members of three families (Chenopodiaceae: 12 species, Poaceae: 12 species and Asteraceae: 7 species).
The ${\mu}$-turn coil having a width of ${\mu}m$ on the GMR-SV (giant magnetoresistance-spin valve) device based on the antiferromagnetic IrMn layer was fabricated by using the optical lithography process. In the case of GMR-SV film and GMR-SV device, the magnetoresistance ratios and the magnetic sensitivities are 4.4%, 2.0%/Oe and 1.6 %, 0.1%/Oe, respectively. In the y-z plane the distribution of magnetic field of GMR-SV device and $10{\mu}$-turns coil which put under the several magnetic bead(MB)s with a diameter of $1{\mu}m$ attached to RBC (red blood cell) was analyzed by the computer simulation using the finite element method. When the AC currents of 20 kHz from 0.1 mA to 10.0 mA flow to the 10 turns ${\mu}$-coil, the magnetic field at the position of $z=0{\mu}m$ at the center of coil was calculated from $30.1{\mu}T$ to $3060{\mu}T$ in proportion to the current. The magnetic field at the position of $z=10{\mu}m$ was decreased to one-sixth of that of $z=0{\mu}m$. It was confirmed that the $10{\mu}$-turn coil having enough magnitude of magnetic field for the capture of RBC is possible to use as a biosensor for the detection of magnetic beads attached to RBC.

Liquid Chromatographic behavior of Ni(II) in Isonitrosoethylacetoacetate Imine(IEAA-NR), Ni(IEAA-NH)(IEAA-NR)(R = H, CH_3, C-2H_5, n-C_4H_9, C_6H_5-CH_2) chelates were investigated by reversed-phase HPLC on Micropak MCH-5 column using methanol/water as mobile phase. The optimum conditions for the separation of Ni(IEAA-NH)(IEAA-NR) chelates were examined with respect to the effect of the flow rate, sample solvent, mobile phase strength and column temperature. It was fo$und that metal chelates were properly eluted in an acceptable range of capacity factor value(0{\le}logk'{\le}1). The dependence of the logarithm of capacity factor (k') on the volume fraction of water in the binary mobile phase as well as on the liquid-liquid extraction distribution ratio (Dc) in methanol-water/n-alkane extraction system showed the good linearties, and the dependence of the logarithm of capacity factor (k') on the column temperature and on the enthalpy exhibited the good linearties, and the compensation temperature ({\beta}) from the slope was 773.47{\circ}K. It was suggested that the retention of metal chelates was largely affected by the hydrophobic effect.
The laryngeal squamous cell carcinoma (LSCC) is one of the most common malignant tumors occurring in the head and neck. Tumor necrosis factor related apoptosis induce ligand (TRAIL) and TRAIL-receptors (DR4, DR5, DcR1, DcR2) are known as important members of TRAIL-mediated biochemical signaling pathway. Associations between polymorphisms in these genes and clinicopathological characteristics of human laryngeal carcinoma are not well defined. This study therefore aimed to investigate a possible relationship among the TRAIL and TRAIL-DR4 polymorphisms and sTRAIL levels in the risk or progression of LSCC. A total of 99 patients with laryngeal cancer and 120 healthy subjects were enrolled in the study. DR4 C626G and TRAIL 1595 C/T genotypes were determined by polymerase chain reaction-restriction fragment length polymorphism (PCR-RFLP) analysis and sTRAIL levels were measured by ELISA. There were significant differences in the distribution of DR4 C626G genotypes and frequencies of the alleles between laryngeal cancer patients and controls (p<0.001) but not in TRAIL 1595 C/T. We found the increased frequency of the DR4 C626G homozygote CC genotype in patients than in controls (p<0.001). Haplotype analysis revealed that there was also a statistically significant relationship between TRAIL and TRAIL-DR4 polymorphisms and laryngeal cancer. Serum sTRAIL levels in the laryngeal patients with CC genotype who had advanced tumour stage were lower than those of patients with early tumor stage (p=0.014). Our findings suggest that DR4 C626G genotypes and sTRAIL levels might be associated with progression of laryngeal cancer in the Turkish population.

The typical operating temperature of an automotive fuel cell is lower than that of an internal combustion engine, which necessitates a refined strategy for thermal management. In particular, the performance of the cooling module has to be higher for a fuel cell system because the temperature difference between the fuel cell and the surrounding is lower than in the case of the internal combustion engine. Even though the cooling system of an automotive fuel cell determines the operating temperature and temperature distribution of the fuel cell, it has attracted little research attention. This study presents the mathematical model of a cooling system for an automotive fuel cell system using Matlab/$Simulink^{(R)}$. In particular, a radiator model is developed for design optimization from the development stage to the operating stage for an automotive fuel cell. The cooling system model comprises a fan, pump, and radiator. The pump and fan model have an empirical relation, and the dynamics of the pump and fan are only explained by motor dynamics. The basic design study was conducted, and the geometric setup of the radiator was investigated. When the control logic was applied, the pump senses the coolant inlet temperature and the fan senses the coolant out temperature. Additionally, the cooling module is integrated with the fuel cell system model so that the performance of the cooling module can be investigated under realistic operating conditions.
