Analysis of Descriptive Lectures Evaluation using Text Mining: Comparative analysis pre and post COVID-19

  • The purpose of this study is to indicate the direction of the future university classes in the post-COVID era, comparing and analyzing lecture evaluation of pre and post COVID-19. To this end, 4 yeard data were used from 2018 to 2019 for pre COVID-19 and form 2020 to 2021 data for post COVID-19. The results were as follows. In the case of liberal arts, "assignments" was the word with the highest frequency and degree centrality(DC) regardless of pre and post-COVID-19 In the major, "understanding" appeared as the most important word. The result of the ego network analysis indicated that "video lecture" and "non-face-to-face classes" were difficult and "interaction" between the professor and the students was important. As a results, it is important to reduce the weight of assignments and increase interaction with students in liberal arts classes. In the case of majors, it is necessary to operate face-to-face classes rather than non-face-to-face classes, and to organize the contents of videos without difficulty.

${T_2}weighted$- Half courier Echo Planar Imaging

  • Purpose : $T_2$-weighted half courier Echo Planar Imaging (T2HEPI) method is proposed to reduce measurement time of existing EPI by a factor of 2. In addition, high $T_2$ contrast is obtained for clinical applications. High resolution single-shot EPI images with $T_2$ contrast are obtained with $128{\times}128$ matrix size by the proposed method. Materials and methods : In order to reduce measurement time in EPI, half courier space is measured, and rest of half courier data is obtained by conjugate symmetric filling. Thus high resolution single shot EPI image with $128{\times}128$ matrix size is obtained with 64 echoes. By the arrangement of phase encoding gradients, high $T_2$ weighted images are obtained. The acquired data in k-space are shifted if there exists residual gradient field due to eddy current along phase encoding gradient, which results in a serious problem in the reconstructed image. The residual field is estimated by the correlation coefficient between the echo signal for dc and the corresponding reference data acquired during the pre-scan. Once the residual gradient field is properly estimated, it can be removed by the adjustment of initial phase encoding gradient field between $70^{\circ}$ and $180^{\circ}$ rf pulses. Results : The suggested T2EPl is implemented in a 1.0 Tela whole body MRI system. Experiments are done with the effective echo times of 72ms and 96ms with single shot acquisitions. High resolution($128{\times}128$) volunteer head images with high $T_2$ contrast are obtained in a single scan by the proposed method. Conclusion : Using the half courier technique, higher resolution EPI images are obtained with matrix size of $128{\times}128$ in a single scan. Furthermore $T_2$ contrast is controlled by the effective echo time. Since the suggested method can be implemented by software alone (pulse sequence and corresponding tuning and reconstruction algorithms) without addition of special hardware, it can be widely used in existing MRI systems.

  • MPEG은 동영상 압축 규약의 하나로서 고하질을 유지하면서 높은 압축율을 제공하기 때문에 그 사용 범위가 점차로 넓어지고 있으며, 또한 이러한 이유로 인해서 MPEG 데이터에 대한 편집 시스템의 요구도 점차 증가되고 있다. 그러나. MPEG 스트림에 대한 편집은 대부분 공간 영역에서 수행되기 때문에 수행 시간이 오래 걸리고 화질이 저하된다는 단점을 안고 있다. 본 논문에서는 DC 이미지를 이용한 MC-DCT 영역에서의 자막 처리 방법을 제안함으로써 기존의 자막 처리 방법이 안고 있는 단점을 극복하도록 하였다. 제안한 방법에서는 MC-DCT 영역에서의 워터마크 삽입 방법[1]을 응용하여 빠른 처리가 가능하도록 하였으며, MC-DCT 영역에서 쉽게 구할 수 있는 DC 이미지를 이용하여 화면 상태에 따라 자막의 세기를 조절함으로써 P,B 프레임의 처리 과정에서 발생하게 되는 화질 저하를 최소화하도록 하였다. 이러한 MC-DCT 영역에서의 자막 방법을 사용함으로써 기존의 자막 처리 방법 보다 약 4.9배 빠른 수행 속도를 얻을 수 있었으며, 화질 보존의 측면에서도 기존의 자막 처리 방법이 화면 전체에 대해서 화질 저하가 발생하는 반면 제안한 방법은 자막이 들어가는 부분에 대해서만 화질 저하가 발생하였다. 이러한 방법을 MPEG 스트림에 대해서 사용하게 된다면, 소프트웨어만을 이용한 저가의 데스크 탑 환경에서도 효율적인 자막 처리가 가능하게 될 것이다.

  • 본 논문에서는 600Hz 무선 LAN 시스템에 탑재를 위한 600㎓ 대역 전력증폭기 모듈을 개발 하였다. 600㎓ 대역 전력증폭기 모듈에 실장된 600㎓ 대역 전력증폭기 MMIC는 ETRI에서 설계 및 제작한 것으로 칩의 크기는 2.80 × 1.75㎟이며, on-wafer측정을 하여 얻은 결과는 동작 주파수 58~620Hz에서 소신호 이득은 12.4dB이고, 최대 소신호 이득은 59~60G보z에서 ISdB이며, 출력전력(Pldn)은 16.3~16.7dBm을 얻었다. 이와 같은 특성을 갖는 전력증폭기 MMIC를 사용하여 모듈을 제작하였으며, RF feed line을 위해 Rogers 사의 R03003 기판을 사용하였다. 모듈의 입출력은 동작 주파수 대역에 적합한 WRl5라는 waveguide 형태를 사용하였고, DC 바이어스 공급을 위해 3.5㎜ K-connector를 사용하였다 제작한 모듈의 크기는 40 × 30 × 15㎣이며, 최적의 성능을 얻고자 tuning bar를 상하로 이동하여 최적점을 찾았으며 나사로 고정하여 상태를 유지하도록 하였다. DC 바이어스 및 RF feed line과 칩의 연결은 본딩에 의한 인덕턴스를 최소화하기 위하여 3mil 두께의 리본 본딩을 하였다 전력증폭기 모듈을 측정한 결과, 동작주파수 600㎓ 대에서 소신호 이득은 6dB 이상, 입력 정합은 -lOdB 이하, 출력 정합은 -4dB 이하로 측정되었긴, 출력전력은 SdBm 이상으로 측정되었다. 동국대에서 제작한 600Hz 무선 LAN 시스템에 전력증폭기 모듈을 시스템 송신부에 탑재 시험한 결과, 동영상을 실시간으로 전송하는데 성공하였다.

  • Scene change detection algorithm, which is very important preprocessing technique for video indexing and retrieval and determines the performance of video database system, is being studied widely. In this paper, we propose a more effective abrupt scene change detection, which is robust to large motion, sudden change of light and successive abrupt shot transitions rapidly. And we also propose a new gradual scene change detection algorithm, which can detect dissolve, and fade in/out precisely. Furthermore, we also propose a representative frame extraction algorithm which performs content-based video summary by novel DCT DC image buffering technique and accumulative histogram intersection measure (AHIM).

  • In this paper, an efficient automatic video parsing technique on MPEG-compressed video that is fundamental for content-based indexing is described. The proposed method detects scene changes, regardless of IPB picture composition. To detect abrupt changes, the difference measure based on the dc coefficient in I picture and the macroblock reference feature in P and B pictures are utilized. For gradual scene changes, we use the macroblock reference information in P and B pictures. the process of scene change detection can be efficiently handled by extracting necessary data without full decoding of MPEG sequence. The performance of the proposed algorithm is analyzed based on precision and recall. the experimental results verified the effectiveness of the method for detecting scene changes of various MPEG sequences.

  • This paper investigates the application of the anti-windup scheme to control U voltage of the three-phase four-wire active power filter, installed in a three-phase four-wire power system. In order to reduce efficiently the harmonic currents caused by the switching loads and to improve the whole performance of the flower system, the DC voltage of the three-phase four-wire active power filter should be properly controlled. PI controller can be applied to the U voltage controller of the three-phase four-wire active power filter. However, a large error input to PI controller leads to a windup phenomenon which deteriorate the dynamic characteristics of the U voltage controller Therefore, the application of the anti-windup scheme for the DC voltage controller is proposed and the improved performances of the anti-windup U voltage controller are proved through the computer simulation study.

  • The purpose of this study was to construct a model of MVCT(Megavoltage Computed Tomography) dose calculation by using Dosimetry Check™, a program that radiation treatment dose verification, and establish a protocol that can be accumulated to the radiation treatment dose distribution. We acquired sinogram of MVCT after air scan in Fine, Normal, Coarse mode. Dosimetry Check™(DC) program can analyze only DICOM(Digital Imaging Communications in Medicine) format, however acquired sinogram is dat format. Thus, we made MVCT RC-DICOM format by using acquired sinogram. In addition, we made MVCT RP-DICOM by using principle of generating MLC(Multi-leaf Collimator) control points at half location of pitch in treatment RP-DICOM. The MVCT imaging dose in fine mode was measured by using ionization chamber, and normalized to the MVCT dose calculation model, the MVCT imaging dose of Normal, Coarse mode was calculated by using DC program. As a results, 2.08 cGy was measured by using ionization chamber in Fine mode and normalized based on the measured dose in DC program. After normalization, the result of MVCT dose calculation in Normal, Coarse mode, each mode was calculated 0.957, 0.621 cGy. Finally, the dose resulting from the process for acquisition of MVCT can be accumulated to the treatment dose distribution for dose evaluation. It is believed that this could be contribute clinically to a more realistic dose evaluation. From now on, it is considered that it will be able to provide more accurate and realistic dose information in radiation therapy planning evaluation by using Tomotherapy.

COMPARISON OF FOUR PANORAMIC DENTAL RADIOGRAPHIC SYSTEMS FOR TOOTH ANGULATION MEASUREMENT ACCURACY UNDER DIFFERENT TOLERENCES (치아장축 각도 측정 정확도에 대한 4종 파노라마 방사선 촬영기의 비교)

  • Panoramic radiographs of a dry skull were used to evaluate the accuracy of four panoramic dental X-ray systems in determining tooth angulations in the buccal segments. The four machines evaluated were the Philips Oralix Pan DC, the GE panelipse, the SS White panorex 1, and the SS White Panorex 2. Panoramic radiographs were taken at six different patient positions for each machine to evaluate the effects of patient positioning on determining tooth angulations in the buccal segments. All of the machines studied showed a significant correlation between the mean radiographic estimates and the actual measurements regardless of positioning(p<0.05). With correct placement of the skull, the results were analyzed for an error tolerance of +/-3/sup 0/ between the actual measurements and the radiographic estimates for tooth angulation. The SS White Panorex 1 was accurate 74% of the time, the GE Panelipse was accurate 67% of the time, the Philips Oralix Pan DC and the SS White Panorex 2 were accurate 64% of the time. When an error tolerance of +/-5/sup 0/ was permitted, the accuracy was 89% for the SS White Panorex 1 and the GE Panelipse, 85% for the Philips Oralix Pan DC, and 81% for the SS White Panorex 2.

  • Tomographic approaches to image underground structure using electrical properties, can be divided into DC resistivity, electromagnetic, and radar tomography, based on the operating frequency. DC resistivity and radar tomography methods have been recently applied to site investigation for engineering purpose in Korea. This paper review these two tomography methods, through the case histories acquired in Korea. As another method of borehole radar survey, borehole radar reflection method is included, and its inherent problem and solution are discussed, how to find the azimuth angle of reflector using direction-finding-antenna. Since the velocity anisotropy of radar wave has been commonly encountered in field data, anisotropic radar tomography is discussed in this paper. In DC resistivity tomography, two subjects are focussed, electrode arrays, and borehole effect owing to the conductive fluid in borehole. Using the numerical modeling data, various kinds of electrode ways are compared, and borehole effect is illustrated. Most of the case histories presented in this paper are compared with known geology, core logging data, and/or Televiewer images.
