The hydrodesulfurization (DBT) were Peformed over NiPtMo catalysts supported on HZSM-5, LaY and ${\gamma}$- $Al_2$O$_3$under high H$_2$ pressure. And the acidities of these catalysts were characterized by using TGA and DSC. The result showed that the order of the acid strength for prepared supports was HZSM -5>LaY>${\gamma}$- A1$_2$O$_3$. For the acid amount we obtained the same result for the acid strength The acid strength and the acid amount mainly depended on the kinds of supports whose acid site were strong or not The activity of the hydrodesulfurization decreased for catalysts which had strong acid sites. The origin of acid site was Bronsted in NH50 and NY catalysts And it was Lewis in NA catalyst The order of desorption activation energy for Pyridine was NH50>NY>NA. And the result was the same for thiophene. The activity of the hydrodesulfurization decreased for catalysts which had strong acid sites. The conversion of DBT over NA catalyst was higher than NH and NY catalysts.

Precise 3D spatial mapping of cells and their connections within living tissues is required to fully understand developmental processes and neural activities. Zebrafish embryos are relatively small and optically transparent, making them the vertebrate model of choice for live in vivo imaging. However, embryonic brains cannot be imaged in their entirety by confocal or two-photon microscopy due to limitations in optical range and scanning speed. Here, we use light-sheet fluorescence microscopy to overcome these limitations and image the entire head of live transgenic zebrafish embryos. We simultaneously imaged cranial neurons and blood vessels during embryogenesis, generating comprehensive 3D maps that provide insight into the coordinated morphogenesis of the nervous system and vasculature during early development. In addition, blood cells circulating through the entire head, vagal and cardiac vasculature were also visualized at high resolution in a 3D movie. These data provide the foundation for the construction of a complete 4D atlas of zebrafish embryogenesis and neural activity.
A new heteropolyanion-based ionic ($[Hmim]_5PMo_{10}V_2O_{40}$) was synthesized by the reaction of molybdovanadophosphoric acid ($H_5PMo_{10}O_{40}$) with N-methylimidazole. [$[Hmim]_5PMo_{10}V_2O_{40}$ showed a high catalytic activity in the oxidative desulfurization of sulfur-containing compounds in 1-methylimidazolium tetrafluoroborate ($[Hmim]BF_4$) ionic liquid using 30% aqueous $H_2O_2$ as the oxidant. The catalytic system was of high activity, simplified workup and flexible recyclability. The catalytic oxidation reactivity of sulfur-containing compounds decreased in the order dibenzothiophene (DBT) > 4,6-dimethyldibenzothiophene (4,6-DMDBT) > benzothiophene (BT). The influences of various parameters including reaction time (t) and temperature (T), catalyst dosage, and oxidant to sulfur molar ratio n(O)/n(S) on the desulfurization of model oil were investigated in details. 99.1% of DBT conversion in the model oil was achieved at atmospheric pressure under the optimal conditions: n(O)/n(S) = 4:1, $60^{\circ}C$, 100 min and molar ratio of catalyst to sulfur of 0.062. The ionic liquid can be recycled six times without significant decrease in activity.
We earlier reported the identification of bif-k, t-3, and a third ORF from an enterotoxigenic strain of Bacteroides fragilis 419, which was isolated from the blood of a Korean patient suffering from systemic infections. In the present study, the deleted fragments of the t-3 and the bft-k genes from B. fragilis 419 were cloned into suicide vector PJST55 and used to create a mutant with chromosomal disruption of the t-3 and bft-k genes. Structures of the selected mutants, DMP-2 and DBT-4, were found to be intermediate forms that integrated the suicide vector into the chromosome. t-3 disrupted Dmp-2 and Bft-k disrupted DBT-4 did not react with polyclonal antibodies against T-3 or BFT-K, and had no biological activity in $HT29/C_1$, cells.

Objective: Assisted reproductive technology has been associated with an increase in multiple pregnancies. The most effective strategy for reducing multiple pregnancies is single embryo transfer. Beginning in October 2015, the National Supporting Program for Infertility in South Korea has limited the number of embryos that can be transferred per in vitro fertilization (IVF) cycle depending on the patient's age. However, little is known regarding the effect of age and number of transferred embryos on the clinical outcomes of Korean patients. Thus, this study was performed to evaluate the effect of the number of transferred blastocysts on clinical outcomes. Methods: This study was carried out in the Fertility Center of CHA Gangnam Medical Center from January 2013 to December 2014. The clinical outcomes of 514 women who underwent the transfer of one or two blastocysts on day 5 after IVF and of 721 women who underwent the transfer of one or two vitrified-warmed blastocysts were analyzed retrospectively. Results: For both fresh and vitrified-warmed cycles, the clinical pregnancy rate and live birth or ongoing pregnancy rate were not significantly different between patients who underwent elective single blastocyst transfer (eSBT) and patients who underwent double blastocyst transfer (DBT), regardless of age. However, the multiple pregnancy rate was significantly lower in the eSBT group than in the DBT group. Conclusion: The clinical outcomes of eSBT and DBT were equivalent, but eSBT had a lower risk of multiple pregnancy and is, therefore, the best option.

Objective: To determine the incidence of embryo retention (ER) in the transfer catheter following embryo transfer (ET) in blastocyst transfer and investigate whether retransferring retained embryos has an impact on reproductive outcomes in patients undergoing in vitro fertilization-ET. Methods: We retrospectively analyzed the records of 1,131 blastocyst transfers, which comprised 223 single blastocyst transfer (SBT) and 908 double blastocyst transfer (DBT) cycles. Each SBT and DBT group was classified depending on whether ET was performed without retained embryos in the catheter during the first attempt (without-ER group) or whether any retained embryos were found following ET (ER group) for the purpose of comparing reproductive outcomes in a homogenous population. Results: The overall incidence of finding retained embryos was 2.8% (32/1,131). There were no retained embryos in SBT cycles. In DBT cycles, implantation rates (30.0% vs. 26.6%), positive ${\beta}-hCG$ rates (57.2% vs. 56.2%), clinical pregnancy rates (45.3% vs. 46.9%), and live birth rates (38.9% vs. 43.8%) were not significantly different between the without-ER and ER groups. There were no significant differences in the mean birth weight (g) $2,928.4{\pm}631.8$ vs. $2,948.7{\pm}497.8$ and the mean gestational age at birth ($269.3{\pm}17.2days$ vs. $264.2{\pm}25.7days$). A total of nine cases of congenital birth defects were found in this study population. Eight were observed in the without-ER group and one in the ER group. Conclusion: Our results suggest that retransfer of retained embryos does not have any adverse impact on reproductive outcomes in blastocyst transfer cycles. Furthermore, our results support finding that SBT might be advantageous for decreasing the incidence of retained embryos in catheters.

Maple syrup urine disease (MSUD) is a disorder that involves the metabolism of branched chain amino acids, arising from a defect in branched-chain ${\alpha}$-keto acid dehydrogenase complex. Mutations have been identified in the BCKDHA, BCKDHB, or DBT genes, which encode different subunits of the BCKDH complex. Although encephalopathy and progressive neurodegeneration are its major manifestations, the severity of the disease may range from the severe classic type to milder intermediate variants. We report two Korean siblings with the milder intermediate MSUD who were diagnosed with MSUD by a combination of newborn screening tests using tandem mass spectrometry and family genetic screening for MSUD. At diagnosis, the patients' plasma levels were elevated for leucine, isoleucine, valine, and alloisoleucine, and branched-chain ${\alpha}$-keto acids and branched-chain ${\alpha}$-hydroxy acids were detected in their urine. BCKDHA, BCKDHB, and DBT analysis was performed, and two novel mutations were identified in BCKDHB. Our patients were thought to have the milder intermediate variant of MSUD, rather than the classic form. Although MSUD is a typical metabolic disease with poor prognosis, better outcomes can be expected if early diagnosis and prompt management are provided, particularly for milder forms of the disease.
