AVIs on the road are installed for (1) security (2) and for traffic, and they are various managed by (1) police department, (2) local government, (3) national highway management, (4) Korean highway corporation. But although the collected data of the plate number, the travel time, the picture of the car are same, they are used in purposes of its installation because the managements are different and the data are difficult to be connected with each other. For this reason, this study is to appraise the application for creating traffic information by integrating these data, and to suggest the introduction of spatial detection system which integrated security-traffic AVI DB for the purpose of reliability improvement of center's velocity. The estimating sections of link travel information seems to be expanded, and the error rate between the center's velocity and the experimental value will be reduced if integrated DB of traffic and security AVIs is used for creating traffic information. Also, the crime prevention and arrest rate is expected to rise in the future.

The integrated data is an essential in the analysis for the balanced development of the local governments, but economic, social and cultural data in local governments is not being made with integrated management. A variety of information is being published according to the Government 3.0 era, but the researchers has great difficulty in integrating the analysis for one topic because related information is scattered in various sites. This paper proposes an integrated database(DB) of local governments to support the research activities. It has to contains total information of economic, social and cultural activities of local governments, and accommodate the distributed and heterogeneous data. It has the schema designed to integrate the entire data for considering the differences between local governments or data components. We should focus to build a framework for the multifaceted research to enable the cross analysis over common elements.

This study, as a pilot study to implement and extend the marine healing which has been rapidly extending oversea areas into the domestic market, has collected seven major marine healing resources such as ocean water, sand, salt, mud, seaweeds, forest, and weather targeting selected four pilot municipalities and established a GIS DB. Furthermore, web GIS based marine healing portal has been established to support the easier utilization of the GIS DB and various marine healing related contents, thereby facilitating expansion of related industry. The portal includes marine thematic maps as well as research papers, related therapy manuals, and various activities and programs of the pilot municipalities. It is expected that the portal would contribute to the expansion of the domestic marine healing industry significantly through the pilot operation of the portal, not to mention of the needs of subsequent studies for expansion of the marine GIS DB and securing more various contents.

Geotechnical Information Database Project was began by Ministry of Construction Transport at the 1999, because many people need a sharing and reusing the geotechnical report in construction process. In the beginning, target was report of national highway construction, the whole of country has been target on since the 2005. Today, the 60,581 number of geotechnical data(counted by boring number) is maintained. In this study, Geotechnical Information Distribute System(GIDS) was developed, in order to improve practical use and to be connected to National Geographic Information Center. and program to be applicable to construction was suggested. GIDS is able to search/download geotechnical report with digital map by internet. This system is consisted of geotechnical data and metadata editor, registration tool, and web system. We expect that GIDS make a effect to improve geotechnical data management and to be use in all part of construction process.

Dolichos biflorus Linn. (Fabaceae), commonly known as Horse gram is a medicinal plant, used in folk medicine for treating kidney stones and diabetes mellitus. The purpose of the present study was to investigate the effects of daily oral feeding of various doses of methanolic extract of Dolichos biflorus seeds (DB) for 42 days on blood glucose concentrations and kidney functions in Alloxan-diabetic rats. Plasma glucose levels, body weight, serum creatinine, and urinary albumin levels were monitored on $15^{th}$, $29^{th}$, $43^{rd}$ day. Renal hypertrophy was assessed as the ratio between the kidney weight and body weight of the rats. Plasma glucose concentrations in Alloxan-diabetic rats were significantly reduced by the administration of DB (350 mg/kg) and DB (700 mg/kg) on day 15 and onwards (P < 0.01). After 15 days of Alloxan administration urinary albumin levels (UAE) were over 5 fold higher in diabetic controls as compared to normal controls. Treatment with DB significantly prevented the rise in UAE levels from day 15 to 43 in comparison to diabetic controls (P < 0.01). Renal hypertrophy was significantly higher in diabetic controls as compared to non-diabetic controls. Treatments with DB (350 mg/kg) and DB (700 mg/kg) significantly prevented renal hypertrophy (P < 0.01) as compared to diabetic controls. DB (175 mg/kg) failed to modify renal hypertrophy. Thus the present study indicates that methanolic extract of Dolichos biflorus may be useful in management of hyperglycemia and kidney functions in Alloxan-diabetic rats.

This study describes a methodology to develop a environmental and geographical information system for managing a national scale which is supports the environmental fate modeling. This system was developed via the integration of environmental and geographical information database(DB) and the DB usage software. For the sound environmental management, the DB were constructed by extracting the geometrical figures-such as points, polylines, and/or polygons-based on the geographical information previously developed in Korea. Then it was connected with the environmental information. Based on the Visual Basic Complier, the software can be a useful tool for visualizing the DB, for searching the environmental & geographical information, and supporting the environmental fate modeling.

This research is a case study that describes the NUCLIS21(Nuclear Information System 21), an integrated web-based information management system of KAERI(Korea Atomic Energy Research Institute), implemented to carry out the role of a national nuclear information center with government support as an information infra implementation programme. Through its user-centered single interface, the system aims at building an infrastructure for the national nuclear information center, as well as improving the information management system of the TID(Technical Information Department) within the institute. The system consists of two major parts which are an integrated module of the MIS and six different kinds of system. These include the Integral search system with OPAC, My Library, the Acquisition system, the Catalogue system, the Information Supply system, and the Serial Publication system. The DB is composed of Bibliographical DB, Original text DB and Abstract DB. A special feature of this system was designed as a unified network system through connection to MIS(Management Integration System) of the institute, so users can get research information for projects. Therefore, they have access to available information easily and access to the ongoing service of this system. Furthermore, users can share information by using our system. The survey has it that 75.7%(200 persons), 62.1%(164 persons) and 78.4%(207 persons) of the respondents are satisfied with the fidelity, speediness, and convenience of the system respectively, and the overall satisfaction of the respondents is comparably high.

In this paper, we propose an efficient hybrid lighting management system implementation on multiple protocol. The proposed hybrid lighting management system was implemented by configured as the data display part for management and control of lighting device and the data conversion-processing part the communication part of gateway. The data were designed the DB to enable to storage in real-time, and implemented able to manage by real time wireless remote control and schedule setting. The proposed an efficient hybrid lighting management system, it was possible the real-time monitoring and remote lighting control by peristalsis with smart devices and portable PC etc., and it could be obtained reduction effect of energy and electricity, communication cost.

본 연구에서는 광양제철소의 Coke 공장에서 이동중인 압출기로부터 프로세스 데이터를 원격 수집하기 위한 무선 LAN 시스템을 구축하였으며, 압출 저항 데이터를 저장 관리할 수 있는 DB를 구축하여 얻어진 데이터를 비교 분석하여 Coke Oven의 노체의 손실여부를 예측하여 유지 보수하거나 손실을 최소화하기 위한 조업 조건 도출에 활용하기 위한 시스템을 개발하였다. 본 시스템은 이동중인 압출기에 설치된 압출 저항 측정 시스템과 2.4 GHz의 대역폭을 갖는 무선 LAN을 이용한 데이터 송수신 시스템과 수신한 데이터를 감시, 저장, 비교 분석하기 위한 MMI 및 DB Server 시스템으로 구성되어 있다.
