Design and Implementation of An MPEG-4 Dynamic Service Framework (MPEG-4 동적서비스 프레임워크 설계 및 구현)

  • MPEG-4 movies are composed of several media objects, organized in a hierarchical fashion. Those media objects are served to the clients as elementary streams. To play the movie, client players compose the elementary streams according to the meta- information called the scene graph. The meta-information streams are delivered as BIFS and OD elementary stream. Using dynamically generated BIFS and OD streams, we can provide a service something differs from traditional file services. For example, we can insert weather or stock information into the bottom of the screen while an existing movie was played in the screen. In this paper, we propose a dynamic service framework and dynamic server. Dynamic service framework is an object-oriented framework dynamically generating BIFS and OD streams based on the external DB information. Dynamic server provides a GUI for the server management and interface for registering dynamic services. In this framework, the dynamic service has the same interface as a file service. So, a dynamic service is considered as a file service by clients and other services.

  • Purpose: In order to improve the energy performance of existing buildings, so actively promoted green remodeling business. Also, improvement of the performance of envelope system of apartment housing is an absolute. The purpose of implementation of the data base and application plan of the envelope system for green remodeling of apartment housing. Method: For this study, It proposed a classification system of green remodeling envelope system constructed actual to select the applicable representative method and input material of apartment housing for green remodeling. In this study, divided into construction waste processing stage and production phase of the material for the boundary of the system, and implementation the classification system of the envelope system for applicable green remodeling. For this, established 6 environmental impact categories database. Result: As a result of various suggestions were available for case study research, alternative combinations of existing combinations than six kinds of environmental impact insulation system with superior input materials combining 96 kinds, window system, 12 kinds for determining the applicability of the established database. Depending on the account for a large proportion if compared to the detailed analysis of the environmental impact resulting from the production phase and disposal phase was analyzed that the operating management of the necessary input materials. Is considered that the economic performance and integrated energy performance required by the applicable public housing green remodeling evaluation techniques considered for future improvements insulation sheath.

  • Recently, slope failures are disastrous when they occur in mountainous area adjoining highways. The accidents associated with Slope failures have increased due to rapid urbanization of mountainous area. Therefore, the inspection of slope is conducted to maintain road safety as well as road function. In this study, we apply to the remedy which is comparing existent description to advanced technology using GIS. we utilize a 3D scanner, one of the advanced method, to generate precise and complete road slope model from expert point of view. In result, we are transferred practical data from external slope stability to hazard slope information. We suggest not only the database but also the method of road risk evaluation based on GIS.

  • To minimize the Y2K (year 2000) date aware problem of medical devices, we are developing a database that keeps the data such as equipment type, specification, serial number, model number, acquisition date, vendor, manufacturer of the device as well as the names of departments that installed and that is currently responsible for the management of the medical device. The database also keeps the information as to whether the device awares the date, whether it is affected by the Y2K problem or not, how to solve the problem, reference home page address, and so on. The data was collected via internet search of the FDA web site and related of manufacturers homepages. To manage the Y2K problem effectively, the database should be updated regularly to include recent information.

  • By the rapid progress of U-IT(Ubiquitous Information Technology), a variety of national development policies have been devised on the basis of the utilization of the technology Above all things, a number of local governments are driving to construct a 3D GIS(Geographical Information System) that is as a infrastructure for the regional development which is including a u-City construction as a future city model, the competitiveness reinforcement of local governments, a reasonable means of urban management, etc. In this study we tried to find the fundamental direction of construction and utilization of 3D GIS in local governments. As the result of study, we suggested the advanced vision of 3D GIS has a role of treating the public affairs of local governments and of supporting the various private business scope.

  • With China Market and strengthening of an international and political position of China, we need to promote exchange and cooperation with China for the supplement of economic vitality and for contriving the contribution of the flow of growth. The necessity of salient traits is needed such as sharing information, training a specialist, network between China Specialists, system establishment of China information DB and sharing China information. Accordingly, KIEP makes the most of limited special manpower and information, and developed China Specialist Forum Website : CSF which will make a stepping stone of systematic, synthetic exchange and cooperation with China.   • There are not that many m-health related services limited to the elderly. Many of the elderly who are at risk of dementia are unfamiliar to smart devices, so it is required to design an user-customized App. Therefore, I design and embody a mobile voice alert integrated app, which enables voice input to increase the accessibility of the elderly, so as to prevent diseases caused by declined cognitive function such as dementia. I conducted interviews and questionnaire after having the students use the app in Lifelong Education Center in H region of Gyeongbuk, and the analysis result has showed the high satisfaction. It is expected that it will be able to play a key role for M-Health service for the elderly since it is possible to prevent dementia through the voice health care alert app. I would like to learn deep learning in the future to predict the life patterns and the possibility of dementia of the elderly.

  • DEEP-South Scheduling and Data reduction System (DS SDS) consists of two separate software subsystems: Headquarters (HQ) at Korea Astronomy and Space Science Institute (KASI), and SDS Data Reduction (DR) at Korea Institute of Science and Technology Information (KISTI). HQ runs the DS Scheduling System (DSS), DS database (DB), and Control and Monitoring (C&M) designed to monitor and manage overall SDS actions. DR hosts the Moving Object Detection Program (MODP), Asteroid Spin Analysis Package (ASAP) and Data Reduction Control & Monitor (DRCM). MODP and ASAP conduct data analysis while DRCM checks if they are working properly. The functions of SDS is three-fold: (1) DSS plans schedules for three KMTNet stations, (2) DR performs data analysis, and (3) C&M checks whether DSS and DR function properly. DSS prepares a list of targets, aids users in deciding observation priority, calculates exposure time, schedules nightly runs, and archives data using Database Management System (DBMS). MODP is designed to discover moving objects on CCD images, while ASAP performs photometry and reconstructs their lightcurves. Based on ASAP lightcurve analysis and/or MODP astrometry, DSS schedules follow-up runs to be conducted with a part of, or three KMTNet telescopes.

  • 정부는 국내산 풀사료의 경쟁력을 강화하기 위해 풀사료용 기계장비 및 제조비 등의 지원에 해마다 1,000억 이상의 예산을 사용하고 있다. 이에 수반한 보조금의 공정한 집행을 위한 절차와 서류는 매우 복잡하기 때문에 집행 및 정산에 상당한 행정비용이 발생하여 국내 생산 확대의 걸림돌로 적용하고 있는 실정이다. 또한 풀사료는 생산시점의 환경(습도, 온도 등), 수분함유량, 압축압력, 풀사료 품종 등에 따라 품질이 달라지는데 품질기준이 미흡해 유통활성화에 걸림돌이 되고 있다. 풀사료 생산이력 정보 수집에 필요한 센서, IoT 통신기술 등은 상용화 수준에 도달했으나 풀사료 생산현장에 적용하기 위해서는 풀사료 수확기 등과의 통합이 필요하고, 데이터에 기반한 과학적 정책 입안을 위한 기반 데이터 축적이 필요하다. 이를 위해 본 연구에서는 국내산 풀사료의 생산량 증대 및 유통 활성화를 위한 IoT 기반의 풀사료 생산이력관리 시스템을 개발 중으로, 우선 관리 기준이 되는 표준 데이터를 정립해 DB화(化) 하고, 풀사료 수확현장에서 필요한 데이터를 확보하기 위한 생산이력 생성장치 및 생산이력 수집장치와 이를 IoT망을 활용해 전송하기 위한 생산이력 송신장치를 개발하며 수집된 데이터를 통합 데이터베이스화(化) 하여 다양한 사용자에게 유무선 인터넷을 활용해 정보를 제공하는 웹/앱을 개발 중이다. 개발을 위한 핵심 기술로는 풀사료 수확기에 부착된 다양한 센서에서 생성되는 압력 등의 데이터를 실시간으로 취득하는 기술, 제어용 컨트롤러 설계 기술, 센서 데이터 가공 기술, IoT망을 이용한 실시간 전송 기술, 풀사료 통합 DB 구축 기술, Full Stack JavaScript 기술 등이 있다. 본 시스템를 풀사료 현장에 적용하면 풀사료 현장 조사 시간 및 비용 절감, 풀사료 생산/유통/보조 업무 전반의 효율화 및 투명화, 생산이력제 정착으로 풀사료 온라인 유통 활성화 및 물류비 절감, 센서, 측정장치, 표기장치 판매 및 유지보수 등 농업분야 신규사업 창출이 가능하다.

  • The construction of the transportation history database system is to serve the scheduling and seat inventory controling. Recently, lots of countries have been faced with the advance era because of the new railway transportation system, like the high speed railway and/or magnetic levitation vehicle system. This can be reasonably translated as those of operators are willing to provide the more various and high quality schedule to the customer. Those operators these ideas make possible to forecast that scheduling process is going to be complicated more and more. The seat inventory control, so to speak Yield Management System(YMS), goes a long way to improve the total passenger revenue at the railway business. The YMS forecasts the number of the last reservation value(DCP# END) and recommends the optimal values on the seat sales. The history database system contains infra-data(ie, train, seat, sales) that will be the foundation of scheduling and seat inventory control application programs. The development of the application programs are reserved to the next step. The database system is installed on the pc platform (IBM compatible), using the DB2(RDBMS). And at next step, the platform and DBMS will be considered whether they can meet the users' requirement or not.
